Decent large guest rooms. No restaurant or bar. Nonfunctional pool area with no real seating. Few restaurants close by. If you are a tourist, it is quite a way from the sights although a 20 minute Uber from La Recoleta cost only $5.

The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished, with large windows, a sofa, plenty of spaces for the luggage. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was good, with a wide variety of sweets, some fresh fruits and very few warm dishes. The only problem was the bathroom, with no shower head (only the ceiling shower head) and no toilet brush. I will finish with the staff who was very kind, attentive and we really appreciated that they allowed us to take the room at 10:00, after a long flight from Europe. I recommend this hotel.

They were so nice to do the check-in earlier. We were so tired after the long flight and they were so attentive and nice at the reception. The rooms are verry big, huge, the bed was very confortable, the room was very clean. The neighbourhood is lovely and calm.

This hotel is so noisy, it is unbearable. All we heard was washing machine and dryer going. The walls are completely thin and you hear everything, including every neighborhood dog barking. No smiles on any faces. They look depressed. The carpet in the hallway is pretty disgusting. Moist and dirty. The hallways are so hot, it is ridiculous. We had no actual couch to sit on. They gave 2 armchairs? That were very ucomfortable and the TV had nothing to cater for tourists. Nothing in English! Only Spanish. For six days, this was very boring. The Hotel is outdated and rooms sparse, no furniture to fill then in. Beds are old. The pool was full of gnats. No thought in design in this hotel. Shower screen moves and water goes everwhere. The shower head was flopped and would not stay up. Only one staff member was helpful. Don't pay attention to all the 4 star reviews as they are all local guides in the business. Stay at the Sofitel. Staff are great.
