NOT A PREMIUM HOTEL: El Gato stayed in room #210. This is meant to be constructive feedback. THE GOOD: The hotel has a beautiful landscape and ambience. It has great potential to be an excellent hotel. The staff at restaurants was superb. Had the same waiter twice for dinner. Pablo is excellent and very attentive to the guests needs at dinner. THE BAD: The young woman at reception needs customer service training. She was not helpful with anything. Displayed a bad attitude, as if she didn’t want to be there. Broken tiles at the main entrance gave a bad impression. This is an easy fix. The young man at the main entrance doesn’t even attempt to assist travelers unloading/loading luggage from the car. No coffee maker in the room. We requested one and they said that was not possible. SUGGEST: Get a Kurig or Nespresso machine for each room. BATHROOM: For a 4 star hotel, the upkeep was of a 3 star or less. The shower floor is dangerously slippery when wet. They provide an anti-slip rubber mats which a guest can roll open see picture. Again, this not a 4 star hotel amenity. The soap dispensers appeared moldy, see pictures. AT BREAKFAST: El Gato asked for an Expresso and the young lady server, said “it’s one espresso per person” without being asked for any additional. Seems strange to make that comment without reason. El Gato stills recommends the hotel and will even consider it for a future stay. But be aware that you are not staying in premium hotel, regardless of the star rating. The hotel serves as a commercially acceptable 2 or 3 Star Hotel.

Checked in in room 210. This room is sold as a grand view room but it only has a horrible view to some bright blue paddle courts which obviously ruin any possible enjoyment to any view.

Terribly unaccommodating and greedy. We experienced a flight change out of our control. We simply asked they shave one night off our existing 5 night stay due to the full day change. They refused, wanting to force us to cancel and rebook at higher prices. Shameless. We proceeded to cancellation. Talk about poor character and penny-wise pound-foolishness. So, dear readers, their below response is a total fabrication. Many words that amount to deflecting. Expedia's back office itself wrote me that the property REFUSED. Don't believe their greedy tales.

Beautiful hotel with such unique details, excellent spa, comfortable rooms, great location, wonderful staff. Everything was just perfect! We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a relaxing vacation ❤️
