Reviews
Modern hotel with compact rooms and spa baths.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Theatre district, bustling Santa Fe Avenue, Plaza de Mayo and St Telmo market. Instead of a group check-in, we had to check in individually which takes a long time. Furthermore, instead of just taking a copy of the credit card, they also require you to key in your pin number.
The rooms are compact but well designed - a firm bed, two arm chairs and a writing desk. The bathroom is luxurious with double wash basin, a spa bath and a separate toilet and bidet. The included breakfast is closer to standard fare (there is no egg station). There is also a gym, swimming pool and spa.
Love this hotel. Truly collasal bathroom with water pressure for days. Staff is friendly. Location is fantastic. Breakfast spread is great. Would recommend.
Amazing time at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the ambiance was overall fantastic.
Can we also take a moment to appreciate Iara, the lovely lady who attended to us in the dining area? She was incredibly professional, warm, and an absolute joy overall. Truly outstanding service.
Stay here for 7 nights. Location is great and safe, close to major roads, nice restaurants and walkable distance to major attractions.
Room is neat and clean, plenty of storage. Attentive and professional staffs from reception desk to restaurant team to housekeepers.
Spa experience was excellent. Steam room and sauna room are free for customer. Relax area on spa floor and swimming pool area has great view of city.
Definitely recommend Alvear Art Hotel.
Was ok. Room had a musty smell on arrival, which you eventually got used to. Indoor pool with retractable roof was nice. Small gym. Attention to detail could be improved. Nice coffee maker in the room that they charge you to use their capsules. Cleaners woke us up at 8:30AM asking to clean. Staff at the front desk were professional however and offered some good local recommendations (Jose in particular). Not the same calibre as other Alvear properties. I hope they strive to improve on this!
