Beautiful city. Rivals Paris. The cruise was a perfect end to our Euro adventures. Highly recommend.

Itinerary
Cruising along the River Danube
The Castle District: Along with the Bazaar Gardens the castle is located at top of the hills of Buda and it takes a truly breath-taking landmark by night
Margaret Bridge – Right after the Chain Bridge the second place belongs to Margaret Bridge, which is the second permanent stone bridge of Budapest and only 20 years younger than its ancestor
Chain Bridge – This unique looking construction was the first, permanent stone bridge, that connected the two towns Buda and Pest
he House of Parliament: Considerably one of the most beautiful government buildings in the world
The island between the banks of the River Danube represents a green oasis, especially during summer when its emerald spaces are much enjoyed by both locals and tourists.
Emerging at the foot of Elisabeth Bridge, Gellért Hill is amongst the most visited spots of the capital, due to the amazing view
Liberty Bridge – Originally called Fővám Square Bridge after the place where the bridge is ending. At the Buda side, you can reach the Gellért Hill and Hotel Gellért which has one of the famous thermal baths of Budapest
The Budapest University of Technology and Economics is the most significant University of Technology in Hungary and is considered the world's oldest Institute of Technology which has university rank and structure. It was the first institute in Europe to train engineers at university level.
Petőfi Bridge – Originally built in 1933 but in WWII it was blown up by German soldiers and had to be rebuilt after the war, in 1952
The new National Theatre is the most distinguished venue for theatrical plays in Hungary. Although there has been a Hungarian theatre in Budapest for the last 150 years, it only has a permanent and suitable home for theatregoers since 15th March 2002.
Balna (a.k.a. the Whale, due to its shape) is a modern shopping, cultural, and entertainment center on the east bank of the River Danube.
Batthyány Square is noted for the Szent Anna-templom (Church of Saint Anne), a Roman Catholic church built by the Jesuits between 1740 and 1761, and one of Budapest's most beautiful baroque buildings. The square is also known for its market hall.

This was a good value trip as we didn’t want the free drink options. Also the boarding venue suited us best as being nearer our hotel than others. We got there 15 mins early but the waiting room was already full so we didn’t get our first choice of seats - get there earlier if you want more choice.
Great view, great tour, the tour guy Eric is rly great. Very knowledgeable and good at presenting, very stratified
Great cruise , comfortable, plenty of seats and easy to get on board , staff were friendly and ride was very smooth
The views are wonderful. The lights gives every site a beautiful glow. The problem is that the cruise overbooked and there is not enough seats for everyone to see the sites. Our reservation was at 19h00 and we showed up at 18h30. We waited in line before being allowed to board and when it was our turn, the top was full. I suggest that the price for the top seats be a little bit more expensive so that it would give a chance to everyone to be on the top deck. With a reserved seat it would give a chance for everyone to decide if the top is full to wait for the next boat. We ended up standing the whole trip amongst a lot of other people on the back of the boat . Not sure how secure that is. Plus we were not able to take good photos.
It was difficult to hear the recording so e didn’t know what we were seeing. They kept us waiting outside until 2 minutes before the ride, then there was a rush to get on the boat
Silverline boats travelled down the middle of the river. Other boats were closer to the shore and impacted our view of various sites. As well, the audio did not match or the timing was off on the sites we were seeing. This is definitely a cruise that should be seen from the open air or top of the boat.
Make sure to dress warmly especially in October. The sights are amazing 👏 The parliament building lit up
People were screaming out of control, unable to listen to audio. No one approached them to control them.
There is no commentary. No one forewarned us and we had to ask a staff member after we left. A cruise with no commentary is very odd!
We booked @ 19.15 and where at the dok at 18.50. We don’t had a place to see anything. All the tables where full already. We sit at a bench with a wall that we don’t can’t see anything. We asked for a drink, but an hour later nobody came to us. Really a bad experience
Spend a mesmerizing romantic day or evening aboard the truly lovely Legenda Sightseeing cruise boats. For 37 years Legenda has done an absolutely exceptional job with these beyond lovely hour to hour and ten minute intoxicating daytime, evening and 2.5 hour 4 course dinner with live music sightseeing cruises on the alluring Danube River. They are elegant, classy luxury “bubble” boats with panaramic sight lines, absolutely gorgeously appointed with comfortable and refined waiting and seating areas. The Danube River and Legenda’s headset tour is beautifully written and produced in 30 different languages and full to overflowing with fascinating history, legends and knowledge about the profound role Budapest and its artists, architects, composers, scientists, inventors, architecture, bridges and River Danube itself have impacted Hungary, Europe and the world stage. The flow of the Danube River will positively lull you into pure enchantment and the phenomenonal architectural showplace of both its Buda and Pest shorelines both in daytime and fully illuminated in the evening are among the most glorious in the world. The outstanding crew is impeccable and served champagne, mineral water, wine, prosecco and juice in sparkling high ball and wine glasses. The more low key daytime cruise included a bonus delightful sparkling lemonade and the nighttime cruises included an accompanying video which is highly effective. All cruises offer free WiFi. The boats themselves are meticulously maintained and the crew and management is impressive, indeed. This is a completely magical way to spend an unforgettable hour plus or 2.5 hours with the four course dinner cruise, soaking in this remarkable city, with exceptional views of the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the bridges and its history and its captivating Danube. By all means enjoy both day and evening tours. This is something that will completely mesmerize and can be taken again and again! Totally enthralling day or evening, preferably both! The 2.5 hour candlelit dinner with live music sounds like heaven!
Fabulous tour, we definitely recommend this especially in the evening.
The boat ride is just okay. After a point it feels too long only one spectacular view is the lighted parliament nothing beyond that
Not enough good views on the boat
Our experience was just ok and not really the fault of the tour operator. Excessive heat caused power reductions and the city wasn’t lit up as it normally would be. Disappointed but understandable. It was still in the mid 30’s C / high 80’s F at 9:30PM. It was uncomfortable. The audio guides were very educational but due to the sights not being lit up, they were difficult to identify. I am confident that other travelers will have a better experience when the temps settle down.
Best night ever. Left on time, price nice, tour thoroughly explained, speed the right one, embarkation on time.
The boat was loaded with people and could not hear anything about the tour. Also the views are the same as what we could see from the bridge or by the river. Really didn’t gain much better views.
Nice experience of the cruise at sunset we really enjoyed this time together
Easy to find the dock and perfect cruise for beautiful views of Buda and Pest. This was a great finale to our visit to Budapest.
We cruised on Amadeus Nova on the Danube PASSAU to BUDAPEST
• The food was really nice. • Meeting point was easy to find. • The audio guide was very detailed and played out loud on a speaker, so there was no need for headphones. I’d left mine at home, and I’m glad I didn’t need them. Very considerate of you❤️guys.
We really liked it, from moment of buying the trip until leaving the boat everything was smooth. 90 minutes is just enough to feel the vibe of the city.
Absolutely not as advertised. Description said Sightseeing tour with audio guide. Instead we got a booze cruise and the boat itself was not conducive to good pictures. I don’t think Viator and the cruise companies on the river “talk” to each other all that well. Additionally, the queue was very disorganized and people with later boarding times were intermingled amongst the current boarding time leading to confusion.
Over crowded cruise. Not enough seats. Nowhere can one have panoramic view. The only place to see well is to stand in front of lower deck (jam packed). Horrible experience. Also, long queue to get on board. Old ship.
Cruise was good. Seeing Budapest at night was magical. The only downside was that the commentary could hsvecl been a bit louder as we struggled to hear it over people talking.
Poorly organised, was there in time and was told that it’s full. Missed the sunset as a result. Worst part was the customer service experience. Instead of being apologetic, they were very rude and attempted to argue about how it was my fault that I was late (was there a couple of minutes early).
SHOULD HAVE BEEN ZERO STARS. Total goat rodeo of a boat ride. Was way over booked, no seats outside or near windows, few remained inside but was way too hot to sit there. Staff was extremely rude. No safety briefing was provided, side doors locked and no emergency exits marked or communicated. Boat is a tragedy waiting to happen. Buyer beware, book at your own risk.
We booked the 8.40 cruise so we could see the buildings lit up. We couldn't hear the audio over the noise of the travellers so this was very disappointing. Volume should have been much higher on pa system.
Thank you so much for nice trip and good service. I would like to come again :)

Good but there were too many people upstairs and we could not go.
