Our tour guide, Misha, was exceptionally well suited for us. Punctual, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, he shared his knowledge and personal experience. We’d love to take other Budapest tours either Misha.

We really enjoyed our walking tour of the Jewish District. Our guide was a local who grew up in the area. He was insightful and we learned a lot. I liked that he encouraged questions and really cared about making the most of our time.
A wonderful tour, guide approached the topic with sensitivity and passion. But most importantly it was informative and fun!
This is a very superficial tour you can easily do on your own , let along find it 30% cheaper if you book it directly with the company . If you are looking for a comprehensive historical background tour , this is NOT it. It’s simply walking through the street and pointing buildings. In fact , our guide not only lack background knowledge, he got some facts wrong . He is sweet and kind but he should not take such responsibility before acquiring more information. So sad to write this but tourist should know what they NOT getting for $300….!
Very lucky to have a private tour with Michael, very informative of the history of Budapest and the Jewish time in the city. Happy to answer our many questions
Very interesting historical tour, although the synagogues were closed. Guy pointed out some fascinating sites that we would have never seen on our own.
Michael was truly: The best! Full of energy, well spoken, a true gentleman who gave us a great various tour. Would absolutely recommend him. He knows all the best places.
Mikael was informative and helpful while providing an opportunity to learn more than just the basics. We enjoyed the chance to gain a new perspective and attempt to see through the eyes of someone familiar with more than just one community.
An absolute highlight of our visit to Budapest. An insight that you would never get as an independent traveller. Mikhael was very knowledgable and was very friendly.
Amazing, wonderful, fantastic! If you are looking for a private walking tour of the Jewish quarter of Budapest, look no further. Our tour guide Mikhael was simply the best! He was very knowledgeable, smart, friendly, personable, and he spoke great English. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour!!
This tour was very interesting and full of details, parallels, and historic facts. The guide Michael also shared many insights and hidden places in Budapest, which make this tour absolutely unique. I enjoyed this tour very much and can recommend it to everyone, who wants to explore this city and the Jewish District!
The tour with Michael was one of the best in my life. It was exciting, informative, humorous, and ironic. It was the best idea to choose this tour with an Israeli native, he is really an expert in this field. Michael told a lot about the history of the Jewish people in Budapest and gave us knowledge about Jewish culture, traditions, and customs. Thank you so much! Best wishes, Olga
It was such a wonderful tour with a fantastic guide. During the tour, I learned a lot not only about Jewish history but also about nowadays Budapest. Mikhael also showed some unusual hidden places and told fascinating stories. He is very knowledgeable and passionate, so the tour was just a great experience.
Outstanding tour with Mikael. It was the very case when you meet not just a guide, but also get a new pleasant acquaintance. The whole tour was like a journey through time - Mikael told us about history and immediately drew the parallels with today, which helped us understand all the connections of time. As a result, we got not just an informative tour, learning a lot of new and interesting things, but a wonderful experience that felt like walking with an old friend who knows exactly how to engage every single of us individually. Thank you very much again!
The guide was very friendly and explained very carefully. I learned more about Hungary’s local Jewish history and the country through this tour. Recommended to everyone
