We had an amazing private tour with Gergely in Budapest. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly throughout the entire tour. He shared so much history and local insight while making everything interesting and enjoyable. The tour was well organized, flexible, and personalized to our interests. We never felt rushed and truly got to experience the beauty and culture of Budapest in a special way. Gergely also gave excellent recommendations for local food and places to visit. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Budapest — it was one of the highlights of our trip!
An informative tour that blends history, gastronomy, and all the key viewpoints — comfortably from the car, with punctuality and even a good bottle of water included. We stopped at several major landmarks for photos and short stories about each place, which really helped bring Budapest’s history to life. The guide was flexible with the itinerary and managed to offer a clear snapshot of the city’s charm in a short amount of time. If you’re on a tight schedule, this tour covers a lot — fast, intense, and still comfortable. Definitely worth it.
The ease in traveling with a private tour guide/driver is worth every penny. You cover so much more ground and aren’t exhausted at the end of the day.
Gergely was so knowledgeable! Not only did he show us all the sites, he answered all of our questions in a wide range of topics including Hungary’s history, current economic/political environment, geographic neighbors, population, trends, and so much more. And all in the comfort of his air conditioned car. Highly recommend him for an immersive half day tour!

Most memorable parts of our tour were Fisherman’s Bastion and the Citadel Nothing much more to say. We drove to a lot of places and sat in the car and looked at things
The guide was very professional and knowledgeable. This tour helped enhance my interest in Hungarian history and culture.
The ease, comfort, and convenience of getting up close with all these historical spots and knowing details about each one of them as narrated by our very knowledgeable tour guide Gregory. This private tour in a car rocks! Thanks Gregory.
This was a fantastic tour with a very well informed guide. It was perfect to gets feel for Budapest in a short time.
Did this tour on our first full day. What an excellent way to orientate to a new city. Gabriel was our guide. He had such a passion for his city that history was brought to life, Spoke excellent English, and was very pleasant with a great sense of humor.
Gergely customized our tour, taking into account what we had seen the day before. This was more immersive, which we liked. We covered so much in just 4 hours: the parliament building, Liberty Square, the Jewish Quarter, and the Great Hall Market. We sampled traditional traditional Hungarian foods along the way, which was a big hit with our family. And we used some public transportation to get around the city vs a private car, another thing we enjoyed as it felt more authentic. Last stop was a famous ruin bar. Fun!
Detailed review of Budapest history and culture. Gregory was very accommodating throughout the tour. He adjusted the tour to focus on our interests. We were very happy and will use this tour group again.

This was a great personalized tour of the city with a driver and tour guide. We were able to have a guided driving tour of the city along with stops at historical and cultural places of interest and walking tours included-the best of both worlds! Wonderful guide who also asked us what we were interested in seeing if there was anything outside of the posted itinerary and she helped us find genuine paprika to bring home as well - really provided a wonderful tour and a genuine love of Budapest - would definitely recommend!
Great tour by very professional and knowledgeable guide with perfect English. Very comfortable car, all the great spots of Budapest discovered in short time. I can really recommend for everyone who whats to see the most from this great city during short visit. Thank you again!!!
My husband and I visited Budapest for 4 days after a Danube River cruise. We decided to book this tour because it was by car and Budapest is a large city. Our tour guide, Gergely, was punctual, accommodating, professional, informative and interesting. We were picked up at our our hotel. Since we had already walked all over or done the hop on hop off bus on the Pest side we asked him to concentrate on the Buda side. Gergely was amazing and took us to Citadel lookout with beautiful, expansive views of Budapest from a high view point. We also went inside the historical Gellert baths to see the grandeur of it's architecture. Then it was on to Castle Quarter and the winding cobblestone streets and leafy promenades of Castle Hill leading past baroque houses, Habsburg monuments and cafes including early 19th-century Ruszwurm. We were able to view the magnificent Matthias Church and climb the turrets and terraces of Fisherman’s Bastion offering views over the Danube. We visited the grounds and beautiful square of Buda Castle. We took amazing photos from this vantage point. We returned to the Pest side and strolled the grounds of Vajdahunyad Castle. We asked Gergley to drop us off at the New York Cafe since that was somewhere we wanted to visit. We can highly recommend this tour for it's convenience in cramming in a lot of sights in a short amount of time. The car was very clean and comfortable, water was provided. The guide, Gergely was very professional and knowledgeable.
Fantastic guide . Highly recommended. Gergely picked us up at the airport and drove us around the city, explaining much about the Hungarian history and stoping in the most beautiful places. We loved it.
O guia era excepcionalcom um conhecimento de Historia invulgar.Tenho viajado por todo o mundo e sem duvida foi do melhor que conheci.Alem de saber imenso era muitissimo simpatico, bom condutor e muito bem educado.Impecavel!
The tour was absolutely perfect and left nothing to be desired. Mr Szabó was able to answer every question with absolute competence, and his recommendations were also very helpful. My grandparents, my boyfriend and I were more than thrilled. Both Mr. Szabó and his driver, who by the way drove so well that not even my grandmother had anything to do with it, were very sympathetic. Highly recommended!
