Chimney Cake Workshop Budapest Downtown - Kürtőskalács Class

We had a fantastic time at the chimney cake class with Ahmed! We were lucky enough to have a small private class, as there were only three of us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Ahmed was a brilliant teacher – so patient, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained each step clearly and made everything really easy to understand, even for beginners. It was such a fun and hands-on activity, and the icing on the cake was getting to take home three freshly made chimney cakes each! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for something a little different to do. Thank you, Ahmed, for such a lovely experience! 😊

Excellent and so fun! Lotki our chef is awesome, knowledgeable, and friendly. The chimney cakes we baked were also very good. Fresh baked, hot out of the oven and you can make 3 different flavours.

It was an excellent experience for a tourist. We made 3 small size chimney cakes. The teacher was very good. It was easy to follow. The hand made chimney cakes were very delicious. I highly recommend it.

Well. First and foremost our instructor (Kafta?) was great. However, communication with the owner, Helga, was not so great. We had a confirmed date and time for 10am. The shop was closed when we arrived and attempted communication via email was greeted with rude and aggressive responses to the point where she told me there was no class scheduled for 10 am and had never received a request despite my email confirmation. Now, whether the miscommunication occurred between the booker and the business I will never know. How she responded to a paying customer was completely unacceptable. The class finally began 30 min after scheduled start time only because there was a delivery being made and he was able to contact the owner. This experience aside, the class was interactive and fun.

I am not a cook or baker. My wife signed us both up. It was much more fun than I expected! It was a great way to spend an hour and only a few steps from St. Stephan’s.

It was great.. Went on my own and made to feel very welcome. Lesson was great fun and cam away with 3 tasty chimney cakes.. I am so sorry I can't remember teachers name but it was 11.30pm class on the 7th October.. He was so helpfull to everyone.. Would recomend

My mom and I had a great time. Our instructor, Marcel, was a knowledgeable teacher and made sure everyone was well informed about the process. The cakes were delicious. We are so glad we took this traditional class in Budapest. And this Chimney Cake shop is adorable!

What a fun experience! We got to make three chimneys and I rolled mine in walnuts, coconut and cinnamon. Marcelle did a wonderful job explaining how to do it so we would have good results. Would recommend!!

Such a fun and enjoyable workshop! We learned how to make our own delicious Chimney Cake, and it was great to be hands-on and involved in the whole process. Everything was explained clearly, and the atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed. The best part was, of course, getting to eat our own freshly made Chimney Cake at the end! 😋 Definitely recommend this workshop if you’re looking for something fun, different, and delicious!
