Tour guide was very gruff, on the verge of being rude. I don't know his name but I would not recommend.

Nice green space with a very controversial memorial at one end which seems to be an attempt to absolve Hungary of its holocaust past, interesting enough there is a counter memorial in front of the official memorial explaining the difference.

Highly recommend our guide paul was very kind welcoming and friendly Explained budapest history very nicely Thank you
Absolutely take a tuk tuk tour. We saw so much of Budapest, so more more than we could have just walking. Add the tour guide's commentary, and you've got the real deal!!
Fantastic way to see Budapest!! Gabor, the tuk tuk driver was amazing. Spoke very good English. He explained everything about the sights.
Firstly Budapest is an absolutely beautiful city with lots to see and experience. So clean and welcoming. Our guide Roberto was amazing. On time and made sure we had an excellent experience, we were very lucky to have him. So knowledgeable, warm and very friendly. Awesome guide and the lunch was lovely! Couldn't recommend highly enough. An absolute must do in Budapest.
Our first time in Budapest. Love the architecture of the old buildings and the fact that you renovate and not tear them down. Our driver, Dan, was very personable, knowledgeable and a great driver. We would ask for him again if we came back to Budapest in the future.
Our tuk-tuk was so much fun. Very educational and informative. One of our drivers, Robbie, had young children so he was able to gear information to include them. Peter and Tom were also fantastic guides.
Our guide, Balazs Levar, was excellent. He is personable and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Hungarian history, government, and culture. He is a great ambassador for the city of Budapest.
Great Day with Roberto!! Best way to see Budapest with minimal walking. He gets everywhere! Very pleased with the 3 hour trip.
Ben provided an outstanding experience for my wife and me. He picked us up at our hotel and tailored our tour to include sites we had not yet seen on our visit to Budapest. It was educational and a great time. We enjoyed the goulash at the end of the trip, which was across the plaza from St. Stephen’s Basilica. Definitely recommend.
Robert, our very friendly TukTuk driver, did an excellent job. We could visit all the many highlights of Budapest in a short time and got many additional tourist infos. The entire trip was a pure pleasure. The weather was perfect too. Robert shot some nice pictures of us sitting in the vehicle. We would highly recommend this type of sightseeing. The downside of this adventure is: we paid a lot more than the official price. Instead of EUR 75.- per person for a 2.5 hour trip as published we paid EUR 118.- per person. We also got neither street food nor goulash soup as promised. Whoever's fault this was, it leaves a bad feeling. Therefore, we give a five star rating for the experience, a two star for the pricing.
Highly recommend! Best way to see lots of sites while zipping around the city on cool TukTuks. Our group divided between two tuktuks. Peter & Paul were both very informative about many varied aspects of Budapest. Greatly enjoyed the conversations and learned a lot. Both were very open to questions and willingly shared their knowledge. Thank you for a great experience!!!
This was so perfect for us as we had already had a panoramic tour of Budapest & a full day of exploring on our own so we put the tour in the hands of our guide, Paul, and he did not disappoint ! His use of the English language was one of the best !
Very informative fun tour by local guides. Views were spectacular. Guide was able to cover all major attractions despite the Pope being in town.
Paul was a wonderful guide! Knowledgeable, courteous, and very considerate. Tuk Tuk was great fun and an enjoyable memory. We would skip the goulash....too greasy
Very fun way to get an intro to the city. Our tour guide was wonderful. Great sense of humor and fully knowledgeable of his city. Shared insights and credible facts that would have been hard to come by with a travel book/ internet findings. The cafe stop was delicious (went back on our own twice) and the goulash restaurant was good. Has a lot of goulash on the trip, that was one of the better ones! Would recommend to anyone who has never been to Budapest.
We absolutely loved this excursion! Chris was an excellent tour guide! We learned so much and had a fabulous time. Highly recommend!!
Our guide Adam was fantastic! Was a great way to see the city and get a locals input. Adam was informative and most personable 😊
We booked a Tuk Tuk tour (150 minutes) for our family (4 adults). Our guides were Petèr and Mike. They did a marvelous job showing us Budapest Highlights. They had a lot of knowlegde and shared it with us. They had a lot of fun stories, especially about all the 96's.... They took all the time to drive us around, even more then planned. At the stops we had the opportunity to look around, while they told us about the history. After the tour we enjoyed a very good Budapest/Hungarian Goulash soup at Gettó Gulyás. Thank you, Petèr and Mike!
Just returned from a tuk tuk tour with paul are guide he took us to the sights we wanted to see and also showed us a lot more , explaining every thing on the way. The tuk tuk could get you near the places and easy access for parking it was also fun even though It was a cold day I would highly recommend to anyone
Our driver was Mike. He was on time, knowledgeable, and funny! He definitely went above and beyond too... He asked if there was any particular place we wanted to go to - we wanted to see a particular piece of wall art, but all we had was the photos and no idea of the location. He whipped out his phone, reverse located it, and took us straight there! This absolutely made our day, if not our holiday. Thank you Mike, you're a true hero.
We did the tour of Budapest in two TukTuks with Peter and Zoltán. Peter seemed to be the tour leader and provided us with lots of information on Budapest and was able to answer all our questions. We were picked up from our hotel and the tour finished nearby our hotel at a traditional Hungarian restaurant where we had a hearty bowl of goulash soup. We really enjoyed our tour. It was a cold day but we were provided with warm blankets. A great fun tour for all ages. Highly recommended if you visit Budapest.
Our first day in Budapest and a great way to get to know the city. Our driver (Eric) was both friendly and knowledgeable and tailored our time to see the top spots. Goulash soup was lovely. Prompt pick up. all in all well worth the money....if in Budapest you should do this!
We were so lucky to get Paul as our tour guide! He completely explained everything about everywhere we went in Buda and Pest in our 2 hours together in the open-air Tuk Tuk, which is like a large golf cart. He maneuvered in and out of traffic like a pro, even buying us a funnel cake treat at the Citadel! This is a great way to see all that Budapest has to offer, especially if you have any problem with mobility issues or lack of time to sightsee. We got up close to every sight and covered some much ground in our tour. We highly recommend taking a Tuk Tuk tour, and ask for Paul; he’s the best!
We arrived in Budapest after dark so we were happy to meet Chris, our TukTuk driver and guide the next morning. His English was perfect and he did an outstanding job explaining Hungarian history and culture while zipping us through Budapest traffic. Having such a small vehicle allowed us to park closer to monuments than larger busses and we could get out to take pictures whenever we liked. He took us through both the Buda and the Pest sides of town. The weather was unseasonably warm so there was no need for a jacket. There are blankets in case you get chilly. This was a very fun way to get acclimated to Budapest and we went back to several of the areas that interested us. I would absolutely recommend the TukTuk Private Tour as a fun way to experience Budapest without killing your feet. Best for two people. I can't imagine trying to squeeze a third (even a child) into the one seat.

Did ths on first day in Budapest, help get our bearings. To start with Greta was our guid, what a wonderful people and her knowledge was fantastic. We got a great tour and lots of information. She asked what we wanted to see, there was only a few things on our list and left the rest up to her. What had some museums we wanted to see later, after telling her of these, she suggested some others instead, took her advise and no regrets. She also explained the public transit system, thank-you Greta. The Goulash soup was a great. She also suggested a ruin bar as a must see, because of her suggestion we tried it, great fun. Once again thanks Greta for helping make our trip unforgettable.

Did this on our first day in Budapest, a good and fun way to get your bearings in this town. We had Greta as a guide/driver. What a wonderful person, she was able to answer all of questions and took us to everything we wanted to see and then more. She had us entertained the whole time, what a prize she is. Would definitely to this tour next time we’re in Budapest. Thanks Greta for a great afternoon. Also the goulash soup was great. Brock and Diane say thanks
This was such a great thing to do. Being in an open Tuktuk provided a constant surround view of the many places we were able to visit. Not knowing quite where to suggest or start from Greta, our delightful driver-guide, took the initiative and we set off along some quite busy roads, quickly reaching many of the must-see places in this lovely city. This mode of transport was quick and easy, and we were able to use the bus lane and not get too caught up in the general traffic, which could sometimes be quite busy. The weather was quite hot and being in the open air provided a cooling breeze. Greta was extremely knowledgeable and knew her city inside out, including its extensive and sometimes dreadful history, and we were able to ask her many questions - this being by far preferable to being in a tourist bus with a set itinerary and rehearsed narrative. It was also interesting to be able to ask her things about herself and her way of life there. We would thoroughly recommend this as a great way to get around what was quite a large city in a very easy and enjoyable manner.
We're just back from a short stay in Budapest. The best thing we did in the city was to book beforehand, on line, a two and a half hour TukTuk ride. There were 4 of us, so we had two tuk tuks (motorised). Our two guides, J David & Greta, were brilliant! We zoomed off to see all the wonderful sights, and were able to nip down backstreets, something we wouldn't have been able to do on the hop-on hop-off buses. As the weather was very hot, the cooling breeze as we motored along was so refreshing. David and Greta were very friendly, very informed of the history of Budapest and also we were able to put our own questions to them and learn a bit more about them and Hungary. We probably wish we had done a half day tour instead.
This was our first day in Budapest and wanted a good overview of the city. Advantage of the tuk tuk is that it can get down small streets, unlike large tour buses, you are in the fresh air and it is comfortable (except over the tramlines!) We were picked up from our hotel and had a fun 4hour tour of both sides of the river. Tomas our guide asked if we had any preferences and would have tailored the tour to suit. He took us to the highlights and high points of the city so we had amazing views and got a good sense of the layout of beautiful Budapest. He had a good sense of history and could answer most questions. We made frequent stops and had time to wander and have coffee. Tomas was very safe on the road and a charming companion. He loves his city and speaks German, English and of course Czech. Highly recommended if you want a fun way of seeing the city with lots of fresh air!
Had a fabulous private Tuk Tuk tour with our guide "Tom" in Budapest. Best way to see all the main sites in one go. Tom was very knowledgeable and professional. The Tuk Tuk can access all areas making it much better than the traditional bus tours. Highly recommended.
We booked and went on a very fun and informative 2,5h tour through the city of Budapest on the little Tuk Tuk. Our driver was friendly, funny and totally into his city! The entire ride was super leisure and felt more like a buddy just showing us around the city. The gulyas soup at the end of our trip was fantastic and just what the tour needed to round it off. I also got in a lot of fun shots in with my GoPro!
While we travel a lot, this was our first time using Tuk Tuk to tour a city. It was a real treat since our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous and receptive to what we wanted to see. Since we had an airbnb close to the Metro, we had spent sometime exploring on our own the day before Tuk Tuk. So, when our guide picked us up, we wanted to concentrate on areas that we had not seen, i.e., hard to reach. The Tuk Tuk took us "up close and personal" to the very top of sites (with fabulous views) that big buses couldn't go, e.g., Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Gellert Hill plus others.
We had a great time on our Tuk Tuk tour with Erik. How he handles the traffic so well is a testament to quick reflexes and lots of experience! He took us to the spots we requested, and added lots of details about the history of the city. His English is excellent, so we were able to understand every word. The restaurant he took us to was absolutely wonderful! The goulash was great and the service was warm and friendly. After being in a stuffy bus the day before, this was so much more exciting!
Mike was our Tuk Tuk guide for the morning and he was prompt, informative, friendly and a really good driver!! Tooling around to destinations like Parliament, Heroes Square the Jewish Quarter and Castle Hill, with stops along the way and detours for a few of his favorite local spots was really a perfect way to spend the morning. Plus, we chose the version with the goulash at 21 included and it turned out to be the best goulash we had and a restaurant we went back to again the day after our Tuk Tuk tour. Kind of expected that a mediocre goulash would be included but that was NOT the case. Mike was able to customize our tour which was key since we had seen a fair amount of sights before this tour.

Fun and lively tour of both Buda and Pest. This tour is not for the timid, but the tuk tuk was very enjoyable. It was pretty chilly, though! The blankets did help with that.
Peter was a very good guide and the goulash was very tasty.

We really enjoyed this tour in the Tuk Tuks. Our guides were really lovely, very friendly and gave us loads of information about the city. They arrived nice and early and asked if we had any particular places we'd like to see, we have never been to the city so we left it to them and they put a great itinerary together. We made several stops where we could get out, take photos or look around. At the ruin bars they also took us inside and showed us around. We finished over in Buda at the restaurant where we decided to upgrade our Goulash soup to a full meal which the restaurant had no problem with and just took the soup cost off the bill. Highly recommended !!

The only way to see the city. Can't say enough good things about this adventure. I recommend this is the first thing you do in Budapest. You get a great feel of the city and what to visit later. this is not for people with bad backs. However if you have trouble walking this is the best way to see the city.

GREAT and FUN adventure in Budapest ! We loved it and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest.
