The cruise was nice, as we downloaded the app we also got a very good explanation about sights we passed by. Staff nice and helpful. Everything went really well and was on time. Really great experience mainly for those discovering city.

Itinerary
During the cruise you will see the most beautiful sights of Budapest. Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, House of Parliament, National Theater, Palace of Art.
Cruising along the River Danube
Margaret Bridge – Right after the Chain Bridge the second place belongs to Margaret Bridge, which is the second permanent stone bridge of Budapest and only 20 years younger than its ancestor.
Chain Bridge – This unique looking construction was the first, permanent stone bridge, that connected the two towns Buda and Pest
The House of Parliament: Considerably one of the most beautiful government buildings in the world.
Emerging at the foot of Elisabeth Bridge, Gellért Hill is amongst the most visited spots of the capital, due to the amazing view.
The new National Theatre is the most distinguished venue for plays in Hungary. Although there has been a Hungarian theatre in Budapest for the last 150 years, it has only had a permanent and suitable home for theatregoers since 15th March 2002.
Balna (a.k.a. the Whale, due to its shape) is a modern shopping, cultural, and entertainment center on the east bank of the River Danube.

There was no commentary, we had to guess what we were seeing. Food was awful and salty
Cruise by night under the lights by far the best. The romance. Great way to end a sightseeing day!
Arrive early in the day and book the cruise for the evening sailing, book the ticket that gives you priority admission with a drink , this gives you the best chance to get the best seats as upper deck is limited , also included in the price is a drink of your choice. Highly recommend doing this on the sunset cruise as it’s definitely best for photos of the iconic buildings, highly recommended
We thoroughly enjoyed the riverboat cruise! Dominic and Frances were the absolute best. They were attentive!
We booked the evening cruise with one drink (priority boarding) from the guy at the boardwalk earlier that day. He gave us good advice to book with priority boarding as there would be a long queue...he wasn't wrong! We arrived 20min before (7:10pm) and got to walk past the 80+ people to the front and wait in the warmth for our boarding. My husband and myself were approx 10th on the boat and choose a great seat (with table) on the righthand side of the boat (downstairs). We had a fantastic view and could easily take photos without glare from inside the cabin. Other people choose the front of the boat (but personally the view wasn't great!) or upstairs but it was too cold for us -4°c with a biting wind. I choose prosecco, husband choose red wine for our one free drink (you can buy more aboard). This company worked for us but I would not have been happy in that massive queue!
Booked the River cruise with Ildi and Chilly. They were really helpful in explaining what was available and the costs etc. We booked it for later the same day, we were asked to meet at the boat at 4.10 for a 4.30 sail. We were served a drink on arrival which was included in the price. The boat was clean and the staff were attentive without being too intrusive. Ildi had told us to sit on the starboard side for the best views. It sailed up past Parliament building then turned around just before Margaret Island and sailed down the opposite bank past Gellert baths again turning after the baths before coming in to the Dock. Highly recommend the trip.
Great riverside views and a very welcoming team. Lots of choices of cocktails including Christmas options. Two drinks included was just perfect.
It was a great experience, from the moment we arrived until the end of the trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant throughout the journey.
Shocking experience. Couldn't see a thing due to people being outside. Tried to go outside but couldn't move. Staff were dismissive.
The inside boat was way too hot.. the waiters seemed put out when ordering the drinks. I appreciated the help at the entry point.
A great way to see Budapest at sunset Enjoyable start to the evening ,boat very busy but well organised ,made sure we booked an evening when we knew it would be a great sunset
Great sites along the river at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Boat was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.
The tour felt like mass processing with zero charm. Limited seating on the upper deck led to crowding, and the heavy advertising plus roof made it hard to take good photos. Pure commercialism – more like a ferry ride than a proper sightseeing experience.
I’m not really sure where to start with this review. We arrived and was met at the ramp, and told nothing other then “this is my name, please mention me in your review”, then we went on the to boot, which was pretty basic up stairs, but fine. We did the happy hour trip which has a drink included, it was drinkable. I couldn’t tell you what we saw on the boat ride as there was no tour guides. Just literally cruised down the river; stopped half way for them to pull alongside a boat and unload which looked like food; and then went back to not knowing what I was looking at. Wasn’t the worst hours I’ve spent but wouldn’t recommend the happy hour tickets and if you want to know what your looking at id go else where.
Very good cruise with lovely staff and great views. Slightly temperamental audio. Not overly crowded.
Lots of queuing. You qué to check in then qué to board. Once on the boat, the good shop Wiking, it's all pretty basic. We choose the happy hour cruise, including one cocktail. I have never seen dried lime slices used in a G&T before. And, never hope to again. No commentary as per the offer on TripAdvisor, just some pop music. That said the views were lovely.
Very Nice and chill boatride Atille and Adam were very friendly The weather was good and we had good seats Would recommend it when you’re visiting Budapest
Vincent was great and really helped to guide me. Great views, fabulous boat and I had a wonderful time. Staff were great. Thanks!
I was really satisfied with my cruise. The staff was nice especially Vincenzo and Cristiano. We did the 6pm happy hour cruise and was given a free drink to choose between the winter specialties (I took the "apple pie" made with traditional apple palinka, it was really nice and warming) or between some simpler drinks (for example glass of wine, beer, soft drinks etc). My advice is to come in early to pick a place that overlook directly on the Duna river. Doesn't matter which side since the cruise circles around the river. Overall the experience was really memorable. The atmosphere was really comforting, thanks to the jazz music and the nighttime monuments and it was a really nice time. For the whole pack the price was convenient (19€ each), with even the possibility to use and audioguide on your phone (if you're interested in that bring your own earphones)
The views were amazing! Very nice experience, had the hot wine while enjoying budapest and taking the nicest videos. The staff were friendly and helpful. Honestly it was one of the best experiences we had in Budapest with my partner. Five star!!!
It was a nice cruise for our first night in Budapest! I wish there was commentary of the places that we saw on the cruise. Otherwise it was fine!
Our guide was racist, she took us the Buda Castle showed us a particular souvenir shop told us we had 10 minutes to explore, so I go in and it must have been 5 minutes and she peeks in while I am making a purchase says you are welcome to buy the whole shop if you like I will take the others to our next stop a cafe. She yelled out the name of the shop and just left me (I had done many many trips never had any guide behave like this) I quickly finished my purchase and quickly tried to meet with the group. The name she had told me (She said look for the Korona sign you wont miss it. I did not see any signs and was very worried. I called the agency and they messaged me the address so I finally made it. I was upset so the guide lady offered to share her cake !! I told her I was not comfortable she kept insisted sharing food with strangers is not something I am comfortable with. She kept telling us how Hungary was formed by Asian tribes whose religion was animalist and not good as an Asian it made me very upset. I felt very discriminated against
Fancy boat, quite fancy. Covered upper deck, enclosed lower deck. Good beverage selection. Not crowded at all on a week day at 6:20 PM
Beautiful boat cruise down the danube river in the evening as it was just getting dark. We booked tickets in advance so were one of the first on the boat and able to get a decent seat to have a good view. The boat was busy. Staff were friendly. And we got our free drink included with our ticket price was great i would say its excellent value for money
The spa is a lovely experience…take a towel!! We paid for a private changing room which was well worth the money. Get there early would be my only advice as we were late and all the loungers had been taken.
Not much happening on this trip. Up and down the river. No commentary, just a placemat on the table with hard to tell photos of buildings we passed.
Good river cruise, it's a bit short but not complaining. We did the sunset cruise, but I think after sunset would have been nicer so all lights would be on and it would have been more dramatic.
Very basic trip up and down the main river front of Budapest. Audio guide was downloadable from a qr code but didn’t find this until well into the trip . Not expensive but you can see just the same by walking or using the number 2 tram .
The atmosphere was great, brilliant and stunning views, table service and lovely drinks, the only thing missing was the audio tour however there was a map you could look at and they played upbeat music
I was so disappointed with this experience. There was no mention on the booking that the top deck has plastic sheets as windows and views would be limited. The plastic windows were extremely dirty and the views were ruined - the whole experience was ruined for us. If you were sitting down below with the clear glass windows i’m sure the experience would have been better. However, no mention that the top deck had these sheets and views would be limited - if I knew this, I would have not booked.
Good value for Money. Thought it might be cold but it was fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend.
This is a cruise competing at the budget end. We booked for ten euros each in October 2023. *The positives: - the cruise was beautiful. We took the 17.00hrs one, so the sunset cruise. The best time to go to benefit from the daylight and then the lit up city - one and a quarter hours, so longer than most of the budget cruises. - free audio guide on your phone via a QR code - a free glass of fizzy wine or beer - a paid for bar on board - Indoor or outdoor seating * Negatives Nothing Highly recommended and frankly cheap!
Having read the 12 previous reviews, I must say that I was sceptical about this trip. It cost us only £10.19 each so I thought we would just give it a go. What an extremely pleasant surprise! The small pontoon where the boat leaves from has a warm and comfortable waiting room - really important when it was so bitterly cold. The cruise started on time and the choice of drinks for your included drink was absolutely superb. I had a .5 litre glass of the same beer I had paid £3.50 for the night before and my wife had a Cafe Latte which costs about £2.95 elsewhere in Budapest. We had honestly expected to receive a glass of cheap vinegar like sparkling wine just like so many other tourist trips. Not here, you don’t. Hot drinks, beers, soft drinks, wines - the choice was varied, extensive and all named brands of beer etc. The trip was superb. The boat has comfortable seats, is heated and warm, and the commentary on the associated app was first class. For the money (which, after drinks was really only about £7 sterling each), this was absolutely superb value for money and a very worthwhile inclusion on our trip to Budapest. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Below freezing and no inside seats. Oversold and nothing could be done about it. Avoid, unless you love sitting outdoors in freezing weather.
Very inexpensive and quick cruise on the Danube. Good way to get a better idea of the layout of the city, and the price made it well worthwhile. Was pleasantly surprised by the free drink, as there was over a dozen drink choices, including multiple beers, all kinds of wines, and lots of non-alcoholic drinks.
Pretty and fun. Moderate price although kids are the same price as adults. Be aware there was no commentary or maps or anything to tell you what you are seeing. Too bad! When you sail, do not wait for the waitress to order your included drink. It is self-serve downstairs and the longer you wait, the longer the line gets.
Awful experience. Best avoided. I wish that we had never boarded the vessel. 90 minutes of torture. The views were great - that's all. We sat on the open deck upstairs surrounded by 30 chain smokers. No commentary provided. I couldn't wait for the trip to be over. No commentary - no guidance. Just 90 minutes of sitting in a blue haze of smoke. What a complete waste of 2 hours. (30 minutes waiting in line at the dock). Avoid this operator at all costs.
Don't bother. Couldn't wait to depart. No commentary. Waste of time. There are better ones to choose from, so make sure you check them out first.
Good value for money. 70mins on the water with a drink included in price. There wasn't any commentary on board but having read previous reviews I wasn't expecting any. Was a nice leisurely cruise, nice music being played.
This experience was very enjoyable. The cafè in the bar provided a good variety of drinks and wines. We appreciated a lot that the first drink was free, you can enjoy drinking in the comfortable sits and banches that face along the Danube. It doesn't cost too much, too. We loved this travel. I advice it.
Very enjoyable Cruise by us 4 couples on 21 Jun .at very reasonable rate alongwith a drink on the Cruise. Scenic Cruise ride.
Budapest is simply gorgeous from the river! Staff were kind and knowledgeable. We had not thought much about the free drink bit when booking, but got pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of the drinks included in this package. And all that for 9 quid. Superb deal
5star experience! Ship was super clean and newly built. Views are amazing and the free drink is a definite bargain. Would 100% recommend
Overall a great experience! We took the morning tour at 11 am and it was pleasant. The lady who checked us in was very nice she even gave us tips regarding sights in Budapest. The free drink was a definite bonus! Can only recommend.
Huge boat, amazing sights, friendly staff, A must do when visiting the city. Thanks for the experience!
Nice town. Many sights. Easy to get around by public transportation, which in addition is free for + 65 years old. There was room to get around and no queue at the sights here in May.
The arrival, which was in the rain, could have been kinder! Ticket type control could have been more diligent
Lovely. All perfect. The views are wonderful. It's worth doing. Very friendly staff and staff. To repeat
Leuke boottour, lekkere cocktails wrl druk op boot en niet altijd plek naast raam. Maar leuk om zo de stad te zien
