Gabriella gave us an excellent tour of the city and is very knowledgeable about the history of Hungary and specifically about Budapest. She was flexible about the itinerary and asked us if there was anything specifically that we were interested in before we started our 2 hour tour. We stopped several places to take pictures, including hero square where she gave us an interesting history of Hungary and Budapest. She also gave us a short but interesting tour of the Central Market. The orientation was great especially for first time visitors thanks to Gabriella.
The Tuk Tuk 2 hour tour was a great way to zip around both the Buda and Pest sides, especially the hillside when you are on limited time. Paul was a very easygoing, knowledgeable guide on the history of the monuments, parts of town, etc!
Our tuk tuk drivers met us at our hotel and we were off on a fun ride through Budapest. There were four of us so we had two drivers, Greg and Gabrielle. They were both knowledgeable and passionate about their country. They took turns at each stop explaining what we were seeing and the importance to Hungary. You get a perspective from the tuk tuk you don't get any other way and they can go where cars and buses might not. In addition they tailored our tour around other tours we had planned so as not to duplicate. Definitely recommend!
Outstanding highlights of Budapest with guide (Zoltan/Small Town). Very enjoyable and highly recommended. Perfect for couples.
With just 2 hours, Paul and his tuk tuk could bring us to many scenic and interesting places without too much walking. Paul also shared the history of Hungary with us. A truly pleasant and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
We had walked for hours several days in a row. This was a pleasure to have a day off our feet. We had a wonderful guide/driver MARTIN.. MARTIN took us all over Budapest. We would’ve never seen all the sites we got to see in the three hours of that tour. It was Great! I believe MARTIN made it an even better experience for us with his professionalism, kind, calm and caring demeanor. MARTIN was able to maneuver that TUK TUK with precision. We want to Thank Tuk Tuk and mostly MARTIN for making this a memorable experience for us.! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest. This would be great for people that can’t walk all day, they would have the luxury of seeing a lot of Budapest even more than they’re walking friends. Either way if I come back to Budapest. I will definitely do a TUK TUK tour again, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting.. it’s fun!
Great tour guide. Very informative and nice and friendly. Learned a lot and a great intro to the city
Guide Zoltan was a very good tour guide. Nothing was too much trouble he kept saying he just wanted us to have the best time. Excellent communication skills and we enjoyed having a few giggles with him too. Particularly nice that he shared his memories of staying in UK as a student. Would highly recommend.
Picked up on time from Corinthia Hotel by out knowledgable driver and guide Gabor. Discussed where we really wanted go and see. Started with the Jewish shoes by the Danube, then on to the church in the rock on the Buda side followed by the Castle district etc. Beauty of the Tuk Tuk it can get you writhing a few yards of where you want to be, so no struggling walk to get there, especially if you have MOBILITY problems. Gabor was very knowledgable and the whole trip was exhilarating entertaining and educational. We obtained some fabulous photos including a couple that Gabor took of us in the back of the Tuk Tuk. Best trip of the whole Viking cruise tour. Cost £84 per person for two hours, money well spent (two people max)
Great tour, especially as our first time in the city.
The driver's were pleasant and able to hold a conversation
Prompt pickup. Much better than a bus or group tour. Paul was delightful. We got to walk thru Ruins cafes and other places
A magnificent fully customisable trip; with the absolutely superb and extremely knowledgeable Norbert
Excellent tour of Budapest highlights. Our guide in August of 2025 was Paul, who made the tour an ideal introduction to this fascinating city. He is quite knowledgable and he was able to share a lot of interesting, relevant information in this brief tour. We enjoyed the ride -- and the opportunity to stop when there was too much to see on-the-run!
Nice tour with a great guy. We went up to the castle and he hooked us up with delicious chimney cakes!
Fun and informative. A wonderful way to experience Budapest. David is a fantastic tour guide and provide us with the history of this amazing city. He packs a lot in during the 2hrs.
Robert was a great tour guide and very knowledgable about the history of the City and its architecture. He gave us great insight into all the places he took us to. We did the 2 hour tour and I think I wanted the 4 hour tour. Great introduction to Budapest. First Tuk Tuk tour and it was a fun way to sightsee.
What a great way to start our trip by getting a overview of sites as well as some facts about the local history
David did a great job giving us the history of Budapest and we got to see all of the top sightseeing spots!
Amazing tour guide and experience
Great experience Just what we wanted great info and some personal recommendations and sights and super flexibleThanks Gabor
Martin was on time, polite and knowledgeable. Brilliant couple of hours and managed to see so much
It was an amazing experience ♥️. He took us to beautiful places that I never would have gone to otherwise.
The Tuk Tuk tour is an excellent way to see Budapest and the main tourist attractions. The vehicles can be parked almost anywhere so it is easy to get in and out when viewing a historic site. Our guide, Martin, was excellent with a first class knowledge of the city and the attractions. A very enjoyable trip.
Fabulous , Greg , Tom and Paul , were so professional , knowledgeable, we had a great time . Loved the experience.
Highly recommend this TukTuk tour in Budapest with Paul! He was incredibly patient and completely flexible—happy to adjust the route to match what we wanted to see, and never made us feel rushed. Paul is also very knowledgeable about Budapest’s history, and his stories and context at each stop made the city come alive. A fun, comfortable, and truly personalized way to explore Budapest—if you’re considering a TukTuk tour, book with Paul
Fantastic experience, highly recommended especially to any first time visitors. Great over view of Budapest and plenty of information and history via your tour guide. Ours was amazing, thank you Z! Learnt so much in a short time 🇭🇺
Robert was our guide and was absolutely amazing. He picked us up from our hotel and was a perfect guide. Very knowledgeable and Personable! Let us customize our itinerary, but was made wonderful suggestions to maximize efficiency and make sure we didn’t miss anything. We spent 2.5 hours and saw old Pest, the cave church (did not tour and don’t regret it), the Citadel/ Liberty Statue, the Celtic ruins at the highest point in Budapest for a stunning view of the city and mountains. Next to Buda Castle/Matthias Cathedral and the surrounding areas. Back over to Pest with some photo of the Parliament building on the way to Hero’s Square. Robbie was phenomenal. He let us know other places to go where we could spend time doing tours. I can’t recommend this enough. Such a great way to see the city/sights and learn the history of this beautiful city!!
Norbert was excellent, very knowledgeable and interesting. It was a great experience- his English was so good. Highly recommend this activity 10/10
A brilliant way to discover the lay out of the city. Gabriel our guide was super friendly and informative. Booked the two hour tour, only because it was -10 outside, in warmer weather I would 100% do the full day tour. The best thing to do on day one of your trip. 11/10!
So glad we took this tour and guide Greg was fantastic! We had already been in town several days but we were so happy we went on this tour as Greg was able to provide the history of the buildings we'd walked past. He also made sure to take us to stops we hadn't yet gone to ourselves.
Greg was such a great guide! While we had been in town for several days before we took this tour, Greg was able to describe and give history the buildings and sites we had walked past. He also made sure to take us to sites that we hadn't yet made it to on our own. Definitely a great way to get an overview of Budapest!
Gabriella was very knowledgeable and personable; she made our tour very enjoyable. While we didn’t need them, she provided blankets for our comfort. She made a point of taking us to see all sights that were important to us.
Great way to see Budapest in 2 hours. Peter is a native of the city and was very knowledgeable and provided interesting information. He tailored the ride to meet our requests.
Paul was a great tour guide. He provided an excellent experience and showed us sights we would have missed because we only had a day to see the highlights of Budapest.
As the description says , this tour is totally customizable. My husband and I have been to Budapest many times and have seen most of the major sites. We asked for lesser known places on the Buda side where we have not mastered the public transportation. Our tour guide delivered beyond our expectations. I would also recommend Budapest TukTuk to those who want a first time overview of this beautiful city.
We had a fantastic experience with Budapest Tuk Tuk. Paul was our guide and he was awesome. He def. knew his history. He had a great sense of humor and was a joy to spend a few hours with. What a beautiful area. You can not go wrong.
We took two tuk tuks and the guides personalized our tour to include new places we hadn’t seen. The guides passion and knowledge about their city was impressive.
My wife and I were picked up at our hotel by Robi, who was fantastic. We had a wonderful 2 hour trip and enjoyed the sunset ride to the lookout point and Buda castle and bridge. The only regret we had was not doing the longer tour.
After contacting the vendor directly I was able to get a solo tour! Greg was great. I would have been fine just Tuk Tuking around but Greg gave a wonderful narrative of the city he clearly loves! And shared very special parts of the city with me. So glad I was able to do this as a solo traveler.
Amazing way to see Budapest! We had Gabor (Gabriel) as our guide , very knowledgeable and patient. We talked about the bridges in the city and he was kind and patient with us taking photos and he took us to the market to get honey ! And Paprika too. We felt like celebrities and the pictures he took of us were great! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the city in a fun and more private way. Thank you Gabor. We will see you next time. Alex and Bryan 😁
This is a great whistle stop tour of Budapest. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and having done the job for 9 years knew the ropes. He took us to all the main sites and explained the history etc. He was not just knowledgeable but also had a good sense of humour. We were thoroughly happy with this tour and would highly recommend. As we ended our trip at lunchtime Peter even recommended a restaurant and ai have to say that it was the best meal of our visit. Thank you Peter.
Awesome experience; guides were very social and knowledgeable. Thanks to Ben and Peter for a fantastic experience Toured Castle , Fisherman Bastion , panoramic views of city and ended within the center part of the city
Robert picked us up on time from our hotel. He asked our interests and said he could tailor a tour to suit us. In 2 hours we coverred such a lot of the city and had a few photo stops along the way. A few places we would never have looked in ourselves as we were under the assumption we should not enter them. It gave us a real idea of which places we would like to go back and visit ourselves. The 2 hours passed pleasantly by and we were then dropped back to our hotel. A great overview of a new city for us to explore, thanks.
Fantastic experience thank you to our driver Paul for all the fun facts. Definitely recommend as you get to see so much of the city. Thanks again
Ben was super. He was there on time and gave us a great tour of the city so we could get the layout of the land in a little history as we went. Plus we had the best chimney cake with cinnamon the first take off my list of things to do and try. Thank you, Ben.
My wife and took the Romantic Tour with Budapest TUKTUK. The tour was outstanding. Our guide, Gabriella was fantastic…knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We highly recommend Budapest TUKTUK and especially Gabriella!!
David was a superb guide and we had a wonderful tour of the city. It felt very personal and David was very good would recommend
