Kirztian (spelling?) was superb. We are older and he let us set the walking pace with opportunities to sit. He obviously loves his city and has a great depth of knowledge. Riding the Budapest metro was fun. We saw parts of the city we would never have reached on our own.

we were disappointed that it was a pass by day and that we didn't go into the exhibits. kristian is a friendly lovely accomodating man, Kristian is a lovely, friendly accomodating guy that likes to constantly chat and not always about what we are about to see.. also I found myself encouraging a walk and talk as we had 4 hours too much standing too chat. loved what we saw, but would have liked more get to the point conversation about the attractiom.

Richard was great! Super knowledgeable about Budapest and its history. Picked us up in a location that was convenient for us and happily left us at a destination of our choosing. We wanted an authentic Hungarian restaurant for lunch so he conveniently ended there. He gave us great suggestions for the following day as well to accomplish all that we were looking to do. It was so nice to walk around the city & have details explaining about what we were seeing. We covered so much that the next day I didn't feel rushed to get out & see the most I could see because I might miss something, becuse our tour was so thorough. We saw city highlights, but also small details we typically would have missed. Wonderful tour!

Recommend if you want an authentic introduction to the city. Definitely saw and tried things that aren’t part of the generic city tours. Ange was very knowledgeable and friendly. Found Ange very easy to speak with. Ange was able to quickly adjust the itinerary based on our feedback / discussions during the walk. The suggestions for what to do during our free time i.e. coffee, places to eat and see were very helpful.

Balazas, was an amazing guide! Very friendly, communicative, knowledgeable and well traveled and cultured. He catered the tour to my specific preferences as I am not that much of a museum or history buff. I highly recommend Balazas if you are looking for an excellent guide while in Budapest.

Make sure you request the type of guide who will provide the experience you want. Historical in-depth knowledge, an overview of the city or specific sites you would like to see, or if you don't have a clue and would like your guide's suggestions. Our guide managed to cram a lot of experiences into our day (We are fast walkers and willing to jump on a bus and subway) and shared war and post-war family experiences. Made it personal! we were very comfortable with him.

A walking tour of Pest is a good idea-my husband and I have done it before. But this time we were with friends who had never been to Budapest before. The guide seemed to be just “winging it. “. No prepared plan. He walked in front and could not be heard well. There were things that are meaningful (i.e. shoes on the wall) that he didn’t take us to. We had to ask him to go to the Reagan statue!

This walking tour of Budapest was amazing! Julia was the best guide. She showed up right on time to pick me up at my hotel, was super knowledgeable about all of the sites, and was able to be flexible when I told her I had been already to one of them. I enjoyed the three-hour private tour with Julia. She was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. She was also flexible with what we covered over that time. A great way to get to know the city.

Guide was relatively on time. About 5 min late because he went to wrong hotel. Although he customized our walking tour so as not to duplicate things we would see on other specialty tours we had booked, there was very little history of Budapest given. We did enjoy the sampling in the market.

The tour was great. Our guide was flexible with our interests. Be sure to wear walking shoes as there are steps and hills ( not too bad). It is beneficial to have the Hungarian currency if you use public transport.
