You need an exclusive English speaking tour and guides who are willing to answer questions and take the tour over to the sights and exploring the location while giving them the historic facts. Otherwise, it would be better add the recording in different languages because it really makes no much difference. It was an overpriced one-way trip on a company coach and a really lame return to Budapest on a "public" river boat. I won't recommend this tour to anyone.

This was a great highlights tour of Budapest. Ben, our guide (aka ‘fleabag!) was awesome. Really knew his stuff, was entertaining and funny. The buildings were amazing and the cruise was a great way to finish the tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. We didn't have booking for parliament house which I would recommend. The cruise was good too. There is a 30 min walk from the end of the tour to the cruise.
It was bus cum river cruise-the guide left us at a point after the bus trip at a point which was 2 kms away from the cruise site without clear instructions -the bus should have at least left us at the cruise site
This tour was a great way to get an overview of Budapest as a city of two halves. I personally loved the Budai side the most. Our bus was good and the driver and tour guide had excellent knowledge and I got a good history lesson on Hungary turbulence over its time. The information given when asked questions was great. The boat trip at the end of the bus tour was lovely and relaxing. I enjoy the tour.
Christof made the experience great. We learned so much about Budapest. Highly recommend this fabulous tour
We were disappointed with the way the tour was rushing. There was no time to click any pictures. We had spent so much money to come visit and we were given 4 mins that to at one spot to click pictures and move around. Rest all the places there was no time whatsoever. People come to these places once for experience and pictures become our memories. So very disappointing as we didn’t get to make any memories. We’ll never ever recommend this tour to any of our known families and friends which otherwise we always do as we are frequent travellers! Not at all worth the money we paid.
Better time management Tour Guide. Overall it was a bit chaotic & the worse guide I booked through Trip Advisor
Great value tour. The guide was excellent as was her English. Very informative at each stop. Free time to wander round the castle (although it was only 20 mins) went to the viewpoint and took photos. Dropped off at the river for our cruise which included 2 drinks, one alcohol and a lemonade. Again an informative part of the trip with headphones for the audio. All in all a great 4 hours in which you get to see the main parts of Budapest.
I was very pleased with Cityrama's City Tour with Danube Cruise. The tour allowed us to cover a lot of ground quickly and using a minibus allowed us to access the castle area. Our group was small - just four of us. Gyuri our guide was knowledgeable and qualified. He created an interesting tour and allowed the group to agree and input to the timings of the tour. I also enjoyed the Danube cruise at the end of our 3 hour road-based tour. The boat was enclosed and warm and made for a pleasant environment for our November visit.
This tour company gave us a tour guide, a french woman, who spoke medium english. It was suppose to be an english speaking tour. They combine groups, one english speaking and one spanish speaking tour. The guide went continuously from one language to the other without stopping. It was extremely difficult to follow. She would not stop for a bathroom break....
Krisztina is one of the best tour guide I had the chance to have! Thank you so much for everything Krisztina!
It looks like a good tour but my friend and I had the bad experience that the tour left us in the second stop and did not complete the itinerary. Terrible experience!!!
Excellent tour by Andreas, although his fist language was French , his English was excellent and explanied the points of interest very well. Clean safe vehicle , would highly recommend
One of the most amazing travel company we came across during our trip in Europe. Budapest was our last stop and city rama were our official agents, the amount of knowledge our guide "Attila" had was really amazing. He had a good humour and was very well rehearsed in English. The tour started with our hotel pickup and ended with us being dropped at city centre to explore more beauty of Budapest. Attila was very well in describing the legends of Budapest and giving historical tour of the places. All the best, please be guided with well trained agents instead of flashy agents.
We were on a short break to Budapest which included a City Tour and River Cruise. The weather was foul with continuous heavy rain and a cold blast from the north. The Cityrama limo collected us from the hotel and took us to their starting point where we were met by a charming lady guide who was so very much in love with her beautiful city. She gave us an impassioned and very knowledgeable talk as we were driven around Budapest in a lovely clean coach with a very professional and courteous driver. Her admiration of the city was infectious and we all left the tour with so much more than just facts and figures. The guide also gave us a short, unscripted and impromptu visit to the Basilica. The experience was very much the highlight of our short stay.
Our driver/guide Pedro made our visit very enjoyable. He was on time, in a clean minibus and very courteous. He was knowledgeable and made the trip fun and interesting. He knew all the best places to get the best views. We enjoyed the content of the trip and found it very useful for finding our way round the city. Good value for money would recommend.
We had today an lovely experience with our lovely guide Ms. Janka Dobay from CityRama. She showed us all around Budapest (we were approx. a group of 20 people) with a lovely positive spirit & attitude and excellent English. She really loves her job and everyone loved her. At the end of our tour she received a loud applause. The driver too was very professional and decent. Hope to make it again with Janka.

Great Tour for experiencing Budapest for the first time! Many thanks to our guide Veera who was exceptionally amazing with her in depth knowledge of Budapest history. She Was very attentional to our questions and was off great assistance which made our tour amazing.

Would definitely recommend the tour specially with the guidance of Veera!

Many Thanks,

Georges

Our guide was excellent. Good quick overview of the city and nice boat ride.

The vehicular part of the tour not so much. The guide was good, the vehicle was good but just do not like panoramic tours. The boat ride was very nice though, up and down the Danube seeing the beautiful sights of Budapest with wine in hand. All in all a nice tour, loved the boat. Thanks.

Joe was a super guide, knowledgeable and funny. gave lots of info and history of the city and the country.

The City Tour and Danube Cruise was absolutely faultless. I called the afternoon before to check our pick up time. The taxi arrived as scheduled and took us from our hotel to the rendezvous point where our guide was waiting. The mini bus and walking elements of the tour were very well planned and proportioned. A nice touch was to give us half an hour free time at one point to either have a coffee or view the cathedral. Our guide, Gregory, spoke perfect English and was really knowledgeable. He was also friendly and easy to listen to. He escorted us to the correct boat and ensured we were booked in for the cruise. The cruise was a great opportunity to enjoy the city from a different angle, this was made more enjoyable by having great commentary via individual headphones. There was unfortunately no food service available however we did receive a complementary hot drink which was most welcome. We were out until well in to the afternoon and thought it was a great experience and excellent value for money.

Enjoyed it was in the afternoon and was very cool to walk and take good pictures. Walk good stretch and easy return
Beautiful view of the city from the Danube but really boring for the absence of a "voice" commenting on what, at the time, was being observed. Small screens illustrating photos, with written comments, were useless.
The city is spectacular and everything is easier and more beneficial with a local guide fluent in Portuguese, Américo - americo747@gmail.com, send an email and he will give you his WhatsApp. Without him we wouldn't have known certain places and details of the city, as well as the surroundings of Budapest. It's very worth it.
Die städtebauliche Architektur und die angenehmen Umgangsformen der Menschen. Der Blick von Pest auf den Burgberg von Buda oder von Buda auf das Parlament ist genial.
Yesterday we did the Spanish tour with Fruzina as a guide. We loved both his knowledge of the country and the city, as well as his dusp3 and his desire for us to enjoy it. This activity with Fruzina is highly recommended. Thank you very much sir3 will help you discover Budapest with your eyes.
