Budapest Ghost Quest: Self-guided Haunted City Adventure

On holiday with a couple of female friends, and we wanted a light-hearted evening activity. Didn’t want an organised ghost walk as we’d already done a walking tour. We all enjoy geocaching so this seemed like a perfect compromise. The clues were challenging enough to keep us focussed, but achievable,and we got to explore part of the city that we might not have otherwise seen.

it was fun to do, but the puzzles were often times really easy, and at other times unfindable because of construction causing us to lose quite a few points. the stories were fine.

It was really exciting, we enjoyed it a lot. We explored beautiful sights, got to know the city. The quests and the stories were also interesting.

There were some problems with the location of the fountain but other than that it was very fun. Also it would have been nice if we could see pictures of the people

It was nice, map is not 100% accurate. We missed one spot as couldn't find it at all. Use a lot of battery so sadly couldn't find it

We had great fun exploring the city of Budapest, while learning about long-forgotten stories of some buildings or its tenants. The cool part were the tasks or questions that you would not be able to answer via a simple Google search, you have to go and look in person! It was overall a great experience!

Amazing! I loved the scavenger hunt part of it. And walking! Just perfect for me, solo traveler, who wants to learn about the city on their own. Loved all the stories behind

It was easy to find these clues, and we really enjoyed it ! The route was full of beutiful buildings and statue.The exciting stories i the quest was worth to read.

It startet exciting- but then some questions didn't make sense and we couldn't find some places because it says "go straight and then left" and it could be everywhere! So we had to stop an couldn't end this tour.

Ιt was a wonderful experience playing the guide. My 13 years old daughter and me found this game very interactive and engaging. My daughter was in charge of the whole procedure and she did not find difficult to find the next point. It was a little bit tiring but also the only way to discover a big part of Pest and have a good time. Mr Alex was very kind and helpful.

It was a Great way to explore the sights of the city and get some exercise in. I took the tour at night time and sometimes it can be a little hard to find the clues without looking like I was spying on some locations 😅Nevertheless a fun and worthwhile experience 😀

The experience mixes socialising, so in a team of two or more is best, with learning some creepy items of Budapest. I had been to Budapest many times, but this fun quest showed me history, icons, and a cris-cross through the city. So much fun! I learned all about the assassins creed, a gruesome murder, the dark side of the train station, and got to see some funky bars too!

Had a great couple of hours walking around Budapest, warm, fun and interesting. Lots of sites and points of interest. Perfect for people of all ages to enjoy. Teenagers would probably get the most out of it but a night well spent.

At some point it is very difficult to find a buildings as described. The distance covered is far longer than stated.

I enjoyed the tour. I had such a great time searching for the clues. I also really enjoyed walking a but out of the big crowds. I recommend it to everyone. Also try the other tours!

Really fun game. Did this in the night with some friends and it took us to some really nice places around Budapest. The stories are interesting as well. Would recommend!

A must experience walk! Interesting, scary, informative and very unique. Looking forward for the next route/tour!

Great app for city exploration and uncovering the local history, it was so much fun to spend the weekend together with friends, definetly will try the other quests.

Very good activity to do, it usually changes and we discovered places we would not have seen otherwise.

We tried Questo in Budapest and were really excited. Downloading and unlocking the tour worked without any problems, and it was super convenient that you could play the game on two devices in parallel. The tour itself was really well done: exciting puzzles, interesting information and you get to places that you might otherwise have missed. We were traveling a lot in Budapest and discovered new things — just like it should be. The app ran stable, the navigation was clear and everything worked smoothly. It was fun, entertaining and informative at the same time.

Kul o lärorik promenad genom Budapest ca 5.5 km. Vackra byggnader o monument man annars skulle ha missat. Gick tillsammans med mina 3 barnbarn(15 år)som även dom tyckte detta var toppen. Rekommenderas!

Friendly occupation for the Halloween evening that allowed us to explore and have a good time. Watch out for some pictures that are not in order, and a clue that I think no longer appears on the door of the house-ivy 🤷

There is a download function. However, the game closed while I was taking a photo and I couldn't open it again without internet. What a pity!

Funny to walk through the city this way. While puzzling and reading lots of fun facts. However, few highlights of Budapest itself are discussed. That would have made it even more fun.
