Budapest Danube Cruise And Dinner Options, Live Music And Dance

Pretty much what we were expecting. A very nice evening cruise with good food and wine. The music and dancing added the finishing touches. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

We loved it! Had great drinks, food, and entertainment. I was worried it would be cold, but I stayed inside and was very comfortable. Definitely added to our trip!

Budapest at night is beautiful. The service was great . We were able to pick our menue . The music and dancing was a great suprise and made for a beautiful experience.. Definitely a must do when in Budapest.

Great fun , great food, Staff super nice and helpful. Helped me relocate my backpack after I had left and came back to look for it. The music and the dance artists were very good and kept up the atmosphere.

Entertainment was fabulous! Even playing our request. We enjoyed our goulash and langos. It was good.

Dinner on the cruise was amazing! The ambiance was elegant with stunning river views, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the evening feel truly special. A perfect blend of fine dining and a serene city and river experience!

Food was decent service was excellent our table was nothing great and had to look over another couple to see outside views which was strange

Our attendant Grog( probably my spelling is not correct) was kind and friendly. We appreciate his efforts, and actually impressed with his work ethic. Because he had a few demanding passengers on board, unable to serve his full capacity towards us, we understood the situation and were ok. He was keep apologizing to us, serving time was a bit late. We don't blame him at all. We were sympathetic to him. I hope that readers understand that we, as customers, need have some manners. There are a lot of people on board, being mindful about our surroundings, not disturbing the cheerful atmosphere. He kept his good composure, and was doing his best. We cheered him up before getting off the ship. Hoping that we gave him some comfort. We liked him as our attendant, and appreciate his work. Regarding the cruise, we had course meal, music and dance were good, and we saw beautiful evening light up scenery. It was a great evening.

From the moment we boarded we were met with welcoming and smiling staff. The waitress explained the food and wine pairings very clearly. Food was very tasty and there was a plentiful supply of different wines. The entertainment was energetic and even involved members of our party. I can throughly recommend the Food and Wine tasting package. Would have even paid more to spend a bit longer on board, as a little rushed at the end.....

Did this on my last night in Budapest and it was brilliant end to my 3 days there. Staff were friendly and welcoming; the food was delicious. The band was excellent as well as the dancers. And causing along the Danube at night seeing Budapest lit up was a sight to see. Defiantly recommend

The cruise, music and food were wonderful. Unfortunately we were seated beside a table with a screaming brat. The parents did not even try to distract the child. It really diminished the whole experience. Two hours of screaming and kicking.

What a perfect experience - great food and drink, superb violinist, and sailing the Danube viewing the incomparable Budapest skyline at night! This is a great deal. We enjoy wine and they don’t just serve you crap house blends, you can order better wines from the menu which were solid. They also serve beer and cocktails. This is no ordinary buffet. The selection, presentation, and taste are all excellent; what you would get at a very good restaurant. Servers are friendly and responsive. The violinist was superb. She played contemporary hits as well as classics. Highly recommend - don’t miss this experience!

We visited Budapesht for 2 days, and this is a very great way of sightseeing during this short time. The dinner was great, the music and the atmosphere was fantastic, recommended for sure.

Communication was terrible did not manage to go as I told the meeting was for 7 git there at 7 boat had already left then Told should of been here by 630 I was not aware of the 6 30 meet

We had beautiful views and our service was amazing. I was so excited to see the beautiful lights of Budapest. We only had 1 day so it was a wonderful way to see the lights and have a fabulous dinner

this was a complete ripoff shell game. there was NO buffet whatsoever and a single choice of 3 pathetic entrees. We had a great time celebrating our 30th anniversary. I highly recommend it. We had a lovely night. Everything was outstanding.

River boat was cancelled. We showed up and waited. No communication. We went to go eat dinner and when we got to hotel room there was an email saying cruise was cancelled

We had several options for dinner cruises on the Danube in Budapest. It’s kinda a crap shoot, which one? Well we lucked out. The food quality and service was beyond expectations (for this type of event) but the music and ethnic dancers put it over the top. Overall, a terrific evening on the water, good weather, great views a good meal and entertainment. Our only issue was getting a cab back to the hotel. Book one in advance. We walked 45 min back to our hotel.

We had a free day on our Budapest tour. Looking on trip advisor for local interesting things to do, the dinner cruise came across my feed. We checked for availability and booked last minute tickets and so glad we did. It was excellent. Dinner was delicious local cuisine. Traditional dancers and local musicians that could play any request made! Service was great for a sold out ship. It added another opportunity to see the city at night in lights.

We really enjoyed this! Our waitress was great. She was friendly and shared information about the sights along the river cruise. The wine and food was lovely (be aware there is a lot of food). The entertainment was good. Overall we would recommend this experience.

Cruise was wonderful, entertainment was great, service was great. Food was good except for the pork. It was overdone. A great way to end a very busy day!

On board service and entertainment were excellent. The food was standard Hungarian Fair. We were disappointed that the ship did not pass the parliament after it was illuminated.

Daniel was very personable and knowledgeable!!! You can tell that he loves the city. Go on Daniel's tour at the beginning of your time in Budspest. He has many suggestions to help you plan your visit.

Beautiful views. Would recommend coffee and a dessert with Goulash cruise. Goulash and logos are a little bit light for a meal. Would recommend dessert instead of champagne in beginning.

The cruise started right on time. The staff were courteous. They checked in regularly if I needed anything or if they could do anything to make my journey better (it was already good). The views you get to see are simply spectacular and will stay with you throughout your life.

We booked the dinner cruise expecting to see the city lit up at night but the cruise ended before sunset. They should adjust the times based on the sunset. If it had been a half hour later, it would have been a lot better. The chicken dinner was mediocre. The folk dancers were great.

This was so much fun! The food was great, and I enjoyed the dancing, though for the best view, face the center of the boat. The music was excellent. My only regret is that with the water and electricity conservation the buildings were not lit up. This is so worth your time and I strongly recommend it for a real "taste" of Hungary.

Well executed cruise with friendly staff and delicious food. Fun entertainment! We did dock a little before sunset, so we walked across the Chain Bridge afterwards so we could be there for the lighting of the bridge and the Parliament building.
