Buda Castle Walking Tour With Audioguide On Your Smartphone

This is not a ticket to go inside the castle. It just point out different places around Buda area. Very confusing directions

Very disappointed as could not get access on our phone thru the app or email to the audioguide, as promised in the advertising, that we had booked and paid for. Very unfair. Unable to contact anyone at the time for assistance or refund. Also UNFAIR. Will not go thru Yripadvisor again.

A simple and effective audio tour with clear narration and some interesting facts. I like the self-pacing. I expected it to start automatically when we reached a point (other apps do this) it I had to press play each time which was annoying as it was very cold and I had to take my glove off, so I ended up feeling very cold overall!

No no no no. This was a terrible experience. First on me because I usually get the tickets and go. I didn’t realize until trying to find a ticket or information office that this “experience “ is booked through a 3rd party app. You have to download the app for the audio play. With all the walking we did to try and find the “entrance” I was furious to have been so ill prepared. Next time guided tour.

It was like walking around with a knowledgeable friend - great experience. I was worried that the guide would be sounded and written by AI. It wasn’t. I heard a real human voice that was pleasant to the ear, all with natural pauses and intonation. And the information was sometimes unexpected, sometimes funny (Had no idea I would encounter Dracula places in Buda! ) Definitely there is a human touch in the product. The app is easy to use, I had no difficulty with downloading the audio guide

Excellent. Clear explanations and map. Very Easy to use. Just follow the instructions and son’t forget to upload the application before leaving.

I have to say it was a great experience. Did the download of the App before at hotel with WLAN & it did work wonderful , also GPS Does provide nice input of history & details of sights Additional Sights could and should be added such as the hospital in the rocks

This was not a good experience, we did manage ge to locate the starting point of Vienna Gate. Sign posts to the location were non existent. We tried thr link we were given to the app for help but it did not recognise our booking reference so we never .managed to use the walking audio guide. It was a waste of money!

Easy to access tour and very informative. Only bad thing was it wasn't in a particular order and we were back and forth across Buda Castle. Would have been better in a consise order.

This was a great way to see Buda Castle. You can go at your own pace. The app is well designed and easy to use. Really enjoyed this method of touring!

We did not know we had to download another app to experience the tour. We only found out once we arrived at the “meeting” point. All this messing around with the visitor app and the other app wasted a lot of time.

Took Uber to recommend starting point. Could not download the app needed for this self directed tour. It was 97 degree. After trying to make things work for 25 minutes we gave up and caught a bus back to our hotel. Total waste of time and money

It was very good. We started the tour at around 9am which was not crowded and not hot as well. The audio guide was really good.

We had booked the tour for September 8. We arrived right in the middle of the setup for the Budapest wine festival, which blocked quite a few access points and completely ruined the site. The stands were lining all the facades of the castle. It was impossible to find the meeting point to pick up the audio guides, despite 1 hour of searching. The castle staff didn't even know how to help us. In short, a total flop for this visit.

The exploration tour was a good mix between informative, exciting and also fun. Of course, there are also some things that are not so interesting. But the exciting one prevails.

A great solution to get around Buda and learn about its iconic places. Lots of information and curiosities. You can hear it with headphones (remember to bring them!) or on speakerphone.

Well made and simple to use audio guide. Many interesting information about the various monuments present. At the time of purchase it was not clear if the inputs were included and the information received was initially inaccurate. It is necessary to specify better that the visit of the interior of the castle and the church is not planned.

AUDIO GUIDE ACCESS PROBLEMS - Despite having followed the instructions to the letter and even after contacting via wapp Viator we were unable to access the audio guide. Viator did not solve the pb but only sent us back to TouringBee who only solved it after several hours when we had already finished our tour. NOT RECOMMENDED

The audio guide for Budapest was fantastic, it really enriched my visit to the city. He took me around the most important sites, like Buda Castle and Parliament, and also showed me some hidden gems that I probably would have missed without him. I loved the stories about the history of the city and how it has developed over the centuries. In addition, it gave useful tips, such as where to find the best places to taste the famous Hungarian food. I definitely recommend it!

I booked for two people on tripadvisor who in turn sent me viator vouchers with a code to start the audio guide, but at the time of the visit, they did not recognize me the code. We lost an hour trying to contact support and eventually decided to buy another voucher directly on touring Bee with another account. Meanwhile, the money from the previous booking (luckily only 13 euros) was lost, as well as risking ruining the tour. Shameful! Nothing like this has ever happened.

Super audioguide pour découvrir le Buda Castel ! Dommage qu'il faisait très froid 🥶, mais c'était génial de pouvoir s'arrêter dans un café, se réchauffer et continuer la visite à mon rythme. Ça rend l'expérience vraiment agréable et sans stress !
