W Budapest

Excellent location and the hotel itself is stunning. Beautiful design ethos. Rooms are gorgeous but at the cost of some functionality. Staff was superb. This place also has one of the nicest wine lists we found in Budapest. Not deep but every choice was a winner. All local wines as well. Top marks.

I’ve stayed at W Hotels in many different cities, and although my experience at the W Osaka left me a little disappointed—mainly because of the service—the W Budapest completely changed my impression. The service here is outstanding: efficient, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Check-in was quick, seamless, and very well organised, while still feeling personal. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and impeccably clean throughout. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary glass of champagne delivered to our room, which was a lovely touch and made us feel truly valued. Breakfast offered a great variety of high-quality options, with something for everyone. Overall, W Budapest exceeded my expectations. The excellent service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made this one of the best W Hotel experiences I’ve had. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

From the moment you arrive, the W Budapest captivates you with its breathtaking architecture. The property feels like a historic palace, masterfully blending an old-world regal exterior with a chic, ultra-modern interior design that deeply respects the heritage of the building. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, my partner and I stayed here during the low season in April and were generously upgraded to a beautiful Junior Suite. The room was a visual masterpiece, perfectly balancing high-end comfort with striking aesthetics that made our stay feel incredibly special. While it sits in a prestigious location just across the opera house, it is only a convenient five-minute walk to the absolute city center. The surrounding area is vibrant and filled with excellent premium dining options. Another major highlight was the elite breakfast. The à la carte options were absolutely amazing, curated to a true fine-dining standard, and fully covered by my Titanium breakfast benefit. This was a flawless, authentic 5-star experience. The W Budapest is now our premier choice in the city, and we cannot wait to return. As my partner is reading this, he's already telling me, "Let's go back!"

The food was equally impressive delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast or drinks, everything exceeded expectations. All staff is amazing! Great service.
