We stayed at this wonderful hotel for five days. The staff were always friendly and professional towards every encounter. The rooms were in great condition, A/C worked well which was a positive, due to the heatwave going on during our stay. The restaurant is a very nice place to eat at. We ate there on several occasions. Bus 16 is about a two minute walk to the hotel. Thanks to the entire staff at Pest-Buda for making our stay most enjoyable.

We had a truly memorable stay at Pest-Buda Design Hotel and I highly recommend it! The location is simply fabulous: The hotel is located right in the heart of the Buda Castle District, in a gorgeous, quiet, and extremely elegant historic area. It is just a stone's throw away from Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, making it the perfect base for exploring Budapest. The room was absolutely fabulous: Very clean, beautifully decorated, with a tasteful modern design that perfectly blends with the historic charm of the building. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail was noticeable in every corner. Impeccable service: The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to absolutely every need we had, making us feel genuinely welcome. The food at the restaurant and the great atmosphere on the terrace perfectly rounded out a wonderful vacation. We will definitely return here every time we visit Budapest!
We stayed at Pest Buda Hotel for two nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. Our room was lovely — comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was better than expected, especially after reading some negative reviews beforehand. We found it varied and very enjoyable. The only minor downside was that the staff came across a little curt and not particularly friendly. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it did mean we didn’t spend much time in the restaurant beyond breakfast. Overall, it’s a charming hotel in a great location, and we would still recommend it for a short stay in Budapest.
We were blown away with this little gem. Perfectly situated in the Castle district away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, this was such a beautiful little boutique hotel. We were concerned when initially booking that there was only one room left with no window, but we needn't have worried. The room was huge, with a massive bed, luxurious shower room with L'occitaine products in the shower. A lovely big wardrobe, smeg fridge, coffee machine and complimentary water/tea & coffee. Hairdryer/tv and safe were also in the room. On arrival we left our bags to explore and check in was easy. There was a misunderstanding between our booking provider and the hotel in that we'd booked for breakfast but the provider hasn't told the hotel, this was no trouble at all, we showed our confirmation and the hotel rectified it immediately. Breakfast was perfect lots to choose from and very tasty! Staff were attentive and friendly. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. It has a restaurant attached, we didn't get to use this unfortunately but the menu looked great. Great value, very clean and tidy, rooms cleaned and turned down everyday. Just one point to make if you're going away for a romantic stay with a new beau, the bathrooms aren't very private, it didn't bother us we've been married for years but if you're wanting some toilet privacy they may need to go for a walk 🤣...
Spent 4 nights here and it was a very welcoming, clean and perfect stay. Myself and my partner drove to Budapest for our small get-away whilst daughter was with her grandparents and everything was beautiful. The staff really went above and beyond on making our stay fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect view and big window to look out to every morning on the busy street which we actually enjoyed this feature. We were in room 12 which I think is the deluxe room. Although this is not one of their largest rooms, in our opinion for a city break it was perfectly sized for a couple and had everything you needed. We only spent night time in our rooms so what more do you need? Very tasteful decor and mini fridge which cold drinks and refreshments restocked everyday. Food was unbelievable, I tried every day a different breakfast option, their coffee was creamy and tasty, fresh juice options and even an evening meal which I very much enjoyed. My partner is Hungarian so he was very happy with the service and food we had every day here. There is nags on the other reviews which seem very unfair in our opinion as the staff make everything clear about breakfast options, additional costs (if any) and if anything, for short stays the variety and quality was top notch. Thank you to those we encountered this week. Köszönöm Emma & András.
