Unacceptable — the rudeness of the tour groups. Breakfast was chaos, and on top of that, whenever these groups were running late to leave for their tour, the bus drivers honked their horns at full blast, as if the world were about to end, at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. I do not recommend this hotel due to the recklessness and complete lack of respect toward the other guests!! Guests shouting in the hallways and slamming doors — who the hell do they think they are! A deeply disappointing experience with NH Budapest City and Minor Hotels. I accidentally booked the wrong year and noticed the mistake within minutes. I immediately contacted the hotel and made it very clear that I was willing to pay any price difference to move the booking to the correct dates. Instead of helping, I was passed back and forth between the hotel and third-party booking partners for days. The hotel eventually confirmed that they were willing to accommodate the change, but said they could not actually do it because of the booking channel. The result? They kept my €332.61 and offered no meaningful solution. Even after escalating to Minor Hotels, nobody took real ownership of the situation. The final so-called “gesture of goodwill” was simply an offer to help me make a completely new reservation — while the money I had already paid remained lost. I felt mistreated, ignored and completely let down as a customer. This was supposed to be an anniversary trip that I had worked hard to afford, and the way this was handled was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. This was not about expecting special treatment. It was about basic customer care, accountability and having someone actually take responsibility when something goes wrong. I expected much better from Minor Hotels.

I’ve just checked in at NH Hotel City Budapest, and my first impression has been excellent. The hotel is clean, modern, and very welcoming. A special thank you to Daniel at reception. He was exceptionally friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. It's always a pleasure to be greeted by someone who clearly cares about their guests. Looking forward to the rest of my stay!

We were recommended this hotel by a friend and it was a great stay. Really nice location and near everything. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. A nice spacious clean room and nice comfortable bed. We liked the balcony with a nice view. Good amenities in the room including the coffee machine. Everything was perfect. The cleaners do a great job keeping all the rooms clean and giving a great service when we needed something. A special mention to Benita and Robert on reception who were both very helpful during our stay. Will stay again thank you.
