When I arrived at the hotel I found it to be so attractive, and this continued throughout the property, from the lovely restaurant to my beautiful room. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. On arrival they took the time to give me a map and mark some places on it they recommended as well as noting bus numbers to assist me. The room was a great size, the bed so comfortable (which was definitely appreciated after all the walking I did), the shower was good, and the bathroom had really excellent light so I could use the mirrors without issue (I have found this to be a rarity in my travels). Everything was very clean, the towels were lovely and soft, and the bedding was also comfy. The food at breakfast was of a good quality and there were plenty of choices, and I ate at the restaurant one evening too and my meal was delicious and reasonably priced. In terms of location, it was perfectly situated for me, just 6 minutes walk from Fisherman's Bastion and stunning views across the city. Plus there's a bus stop at the end of the street offering great access to the rest of the city. Despite being so close to site seeing venues, bars, and restaurants, it's still a quiet area in the evening, and there was never any ambient noise in my room. I would definitely stay again

We had a lunch in the hotel. While it was pretty quiet on Sunday due to the Formula One race, the service was fast. The lemonades were not too sweet, the goulash had deep red color and delicious taste. The Somlói galuska dessert was sweet with thick cream. Location and size of the hotel yard was perfect, but interior design could be improved, it lacked style and coherence.
Have just spent 3 nights here as a group of 4 and it was great. The rooms were really clean, modern and had everything you need without being cluttered. We were in the additional block that's about 50 metres from the main hotel which was lovely and quiet. All the staff were friendly, helpful and happy to assist, ranging from checking in, to the restaurant and the night manager. It's at the top of the hill in the Buda side of the city and there are a lot of steps walking down to the river, but there are plenty of taxis around if don't fancy the walk, in either direction. Our stay was lovely, the air conditioning kept the room cool overnight and ensured a decent night's sleep. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful discovery in the heart of Budapest's Castle District. The pan-seared chicken breast was executed beautifully — golden, juicy, and paired with a silky sauce and tri-colour roasted carrots that added both visual drama and earthy depth. Portions are on the refined side, so big eaters may want to add a starter or dessert. The set lunch felt genuinely considered rather than rushed, which is rare for a tourist-area restaurant. Service was attentive and the atmosphere struck a nice balance between elegant and relaxed. The 13% service charge is added automatically, so factor that in. Overall a solid 4.2/5 — well worth the detour after exploring Matthias Church or Fisherman's Bastion.
Great place to stay. Brilliant location in the castle district and local bus every 10 mins to cross the river into Pest. Bistro was probably the best Hungarian meal we had. Staff were great and went the extra mile. Rooms were spotless and bed was comfortable. Very good!
