Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only

We had a good experience at Hotel Clark, but not great. One of the most important points for me in a hotel is clealiness, which was not that good here. Our room had a constant smell of dirty fabric, which I belive was from the rug. When we arrived in our room, the bathroom floor was all wet, which does not give a great impression. The bed linen was very clean, but the pillows on the bed were dirty. Clearly, the covers aren't changed. When I picked up the pillows to remove them from the bed, I found long blonde hairs on them, which were not mine (my hair is brown). Since the overall cleanliness wasn't that great, I wiped down the headboard with a cleaning wipe before we went to bed, and the cloth turned completely yellow. Yuck! Another thing that was definitely not the level we expected for this kind of hotel were the towels. They were quite old and the fabric was already tearing at the edges. Apart from that, the room was beautiful with an amazing view to the bridge. The balcony doors have excellent sound insulation. Breakfast had little variety, but was good. I recommend refreshing the cleaning staff's training and paying more attention to this area by conducting regular inspections, as the hotel has great potential.

We enjoyed our trip to Budapest and our stay at Hotel Clark. The hotels location is excellent and a safe spot. We paid extra for a Danube river view room and the view was great. The hotel is a very nice property; the rooms were clean, the bed/pillows were comfortable, and the room was quiet. Great sleep quality. The staff are all pleasant and courteous and house keeping did a good job. We were not happy with a few things: 1) our room was on the small side and there wasn't much room between the end of the bed and the side wall/cabinet making it difficult to access the right side of the bed, especially at night. Just barely enough room to walk between the bed and the wall. 2) The shower did not have a proper door/curtain and water splashed all over the bathroom floor when taking a shower. 3) Our room was warmer than we liked it. Although there was AC in the room, it appeared to be insufficient to keep the room cooled. 4) The restaurant on-site has an awful menu - we didn’t eat there once simply because the menu was not appetizing. I feel like my rating should be a 3.5 star rating but rounded up to a 4-star mainly because of the sleep quality and views.

This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The view of the chain bridge and surrounding area were breathtaking. Besides being a gorgeous hotel in every aspect of its impeccable details, the people that work there are genuine, kind and patient. When we arrived on the first knight after a long trip, we were tired and starving. They immediately called Felix and reserved a table with great views of the river. it was an amazing treat. You cannot pay for this type of authentic selfless hospitality by the hotel staff. Its pure love.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Clark Budapest and were extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience. The team kindly arranged a beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the Chain Bridge, which made our stay truly unforgettable. The bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room was an exceptionally thoughtful and elegant gesture. From the warm welcome and friendly service to the attention shown throughout our stay, everything was excellent. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire Hotel Clark team for their kindness, hospitality, and outstanding service.
