Lovely hotel, room was really clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. Great bathroom. Everything looked fresh and stylish. Staff were really friendly. We had a room facing the back and it was very quiet. Close to tram and metro. We thought it was excellent value for money.
Lovely spotless hotel with good positioning for walking into the city. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and the sauna. Breakfast was great they even provided gluten free bread. Just wanted more time to enjoy Budapest and the hotel next time we are staying longer. The hotel were very welcoming for our wedding anniversary and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine. 1/2 hr walk to the spa and 29 minutes to the ruin bars. Lots to do and time to relax. Ubers are cheap and plenty for quick travel if you’re in high heels
My friend and I booked 4 nights stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, quiet rooms (nothing can be overheard), very good selection of breakfast food. The rooftop bar was also great where you can see uninterrupted views of the city whilst enjoying some cocktails during the golden hour. 🌇🌄 The hotel is at a very good location! M4 (Rákóczi tér) ,M2 (Blaha Lujza tér) metro and 4/6 tram on József Körút!
The EST Grand Hotel Savoy Budapest was wonderful and we had a great time. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and kind. The Savoy has two nice bars one the hotel lobby and one with quite the view on the roof. Our daily provided continental breakfast was delicious. We arrived late one morning and they offered a box breakfast to go. Really good people. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, the trolley and bus go right past the door, and the subway station is half a block in either direction. The Savoy has an excellent rooftop bar with a wonderful view of Budapest and is a fantastic place to relax and meet new friends. To top it off, Lorenzo, the bartender, is awesome. Talented, affable, fun to talk with, knowledgeable about Budapest and Hungary, and helpful if you need anything something. Most enjoyable. The Savoy is lucky to have him.
We highly recommend this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the pillows and duvets felt absolutely heavenly. The room also had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather. The hotel offers a sauna and a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views. The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants nearby and easy access to public transportation. We couldn't be happier with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. There are so many wonderful things about it that it's impossible to mention them all!
