Dorka and Barbara served us with a smile. Knowledgeable about the menu and our wishes combined with the possibilities overhere,we had an excellent dinner . The staff and service allover made it a wonderful visit ( again ) to Budapest. Thank you also Laszlo, Levente, Fiorella and certainly Barbara at the receptioniste for making our stay succes a unique visit. Last time (2023) we stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel ,but here with you we felt more welcome and at home . Thank you all.
Great hotel , conveiently located by the mall with easy public transport access. We had minor AC noise issue which was fixed within minutes. Fantastic service all around and special shout out to the lovely breakfast. So fresh, tasty and diversed and the BEST service I had in hotels recently. Also, got a nice surprise for my birthday, thank you Firoella and team!
We came here with my wife to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The price is absolutely justified by the exceptionally high standards the hotel offers. Every member of the staff spoke excellent English, so communication was effortless. Any questions or requests we had were handled promptly and professionally. Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We also tried the hotel's breakfast, and it was simply outstanding. The selection and quality of the food were excellent, and the waitstaff were as friendly, attentive, and professional as those in the finest restaurants. This hotel played a huge part in making our trip perfect. Its location is fantastic, there are plenty of on street parking spaces nearby, and there is also an underground parking garage if needed. Right next to the hotel, you'll find a supermarket, a shopping mall, a metro station, and a railway station, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in the city. Despite its location, the hotel is very well soundproofed, so we enjoyed peaceful, uninterrupted nights of sleep. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.
I had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Budapest! The location is perfect, right next to the Nyugati train station and a short walk to the city center. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the service—the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with plenty of choices. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest!
Disappointing luggage storage experience Unfortunately, my experience at check-out was disappointing. I noticed that some guests were allowed to leave their luggage safely at the reception, while we were instructed to take ours to an unattended room ourselves. We were told that it was “safe because there are security cameras,” but CCTV is not a substitute for secure, supervised luggage storage. I found this inconsistent and unfair. If the hotel offers different standards of service to different guests, it should explain why. For a hotel of this category, I expected a secure and professionally managed luggage storage service for all guests. This experience left a negative impression and did not reflect the level of hospitality I expected from a Crowne Plaza hotel.
