Continental Hotel Budapest

Our executive room was well equipped and the bathroom layout and the supply of very hot water was good. Housekeeping was very good and of a high standard. However, as I had to sleep on the pull out double sofa bed (which was very comfortable) I was at a loss to understand why I was only given a single quilt! We had booked a twin bedded executive room but was told by a staff member they were only double beds. I would suggest that some of your executive rooms be twin bedded as not everyone requesting an executive room wants a double bed. I would also ask that as British guests we like a cup of tea rather than coffee and found that one milk per person per day was not enough. We did ask for more but none were received. The breakfast selection was very good and we dined in the restaurant three times in the evening and found the food and service to be very good.

The reception staff are amazing. So friendly, so helpful and useful. We arrived in the middle of the night and they still gave us a great welcome, it just went good for there. The cleaning staff need some training, dust and hair in the bed and bathroom but the receptionists were hospitable. Salt room is a bit lame. The bed is very soft.

I had a wonderful stay at the Continental Hotel Budapest. The location is excellent, very convenient for exploring the city, with many of Budapest’s main attractions within easy reach. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and everything was well organized. My room was clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel after a long day in the city.

We had a fantastic stay at the Continental Hotel Budapest and couldn’t have asked for a better experience, especially as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much character and stunning architecture. Our room was lovely, comfortable and beautifully presented, making it a really enjoyable place to come back to after exploring Budapest. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we came across was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and on several occasions the team actually thought of things or offered help before we even had to ask. That level of service makes such a difference and really made us feel looked after. We also had massages during our stay, which were fantastic and a lovely addition to the trip. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our first wedding anniversary so special. We were particularly touched by the beautiful flowers you arranged for my wife. The fact that you chose colours similar to those from our wedding day made it an incredibly thoughtful surprise and meant a lot to us. Thank you so much for looking after us and making our stay so memorable. We would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Continental Hotel Budapest.
