We just left our 5 days stay in the hotel. And we are delighted to give it 5 star. The room was huge, 2 floor room, with living room and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The most important it was very very clean! Even my daughter that checks everything said she didn't found any dirt in the room. The breakfast was delicious and had everything you need for the start of the day. The location is perfect, you have trams and buses in a short walk from the hotel And another important thing we chacked in at night and it was very easy with easy directions given us in email. Thank you we had a wonderful time.

Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean, quiet, had a small kitchen that we did not use. The hotel reception closes at 6pm and that was not an inconvenient for our group of 4. The breakfast was excellent. Even if the hotel doesn’t have central air conditioning each room had a functioning portable air conditioning unit. Bathroom was spacious and very nice. Parking is available and free but after 6pm you cannot retrieve the car until the next day at 8 am.
The location is excellent — on a quiet street right in the city centre. It was our first time in Budapest, and during just a few hours of walking in the evening, we made it all the way to the Danube, where we enjoyed the most beautiful views! Along the way, we saw the Budapest Eye, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Shoes on the Danube Bank. The hotel was very peaceful, the other guests were considerate, and we couldn’t hear any noise from the street. The breakfast was excellent — delicious and with a great variety of choices. The staff were friendly and polite. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely recommend this place to others, and next time I’m in Budapest, I will choose to stay here again. Thank you for making our short stay so enjoyable!
We stayed for two nights in the fifth-floor apartment, which included breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious, were very clean and there was plenty of room for the four of us! The value for money was excellent for Budapest! We would love to come back! Thanks for all!
We stayed at City Home for 7 days and found it comfortable and clean. The decor in the room was very 1970s in colour, lots of dark brown and orange but it met what we needed. There was a kitchenette, with a hob, kettle, microwave and fridge, which was well stocked with a minibar of beers, wine, soft drinks and chocolate if you wanted them. Basic kitchen crockery, saucepans and cultery to rustle up a meal. There was also a good sized dinning table. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the towels changed daily. There was a choice of different breakfasts and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located very near the Jewish quarter and near a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops. Most of Budapests attractions are within a half an hours walk but if you prefer public transport, buses and trams run from just around the corner. If we were to go back to Budapest, we would definitely return to City Home.
