Good fun! Really enjoyed it, you work in pairs at each baking station. Host comes round to check so you don’t feel like you’re missing out. Great laugh, get to eat the waffles and drink beer. Even got to take some waffles with me and left with a certificate of participation plus the recipe on the back! Amazing!

It was really a fun time. The host was great. She was funny and very accommodating. We were a few minutes late do to travel and she waited for us.

Fun experience. Baking knowledges helps but not at all necessary. Ingrid was great and very knowledgeable.

We absolutely loved this wake making class! We learned to make Belgian waffles and talked three different beers while learning about the history of both! Francoise made the class fun and interesting!

I booked this experience as my husband and I did a similar experience in Bruges and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up being the only people in attendance so we had a private class with Ingrid which was fantastic! Ingrid went through all the history of each beer we tried and gave us information on which will work best in our waffles. We then went through the waffle making process which was very chilled and fun and i loved receiving the recipe so I can create it at home. Ingrid also gave us some valuable information on landmarks and areas we should visit during our stay to avoid hitting all the tourist traps and that was a very personable approach. Overall it was a great and fun experience and I would do it again!

This was such a fun activity. Francois was such a lovely host. She had anecdotes to share and gave us the history facts for what we were drinking. The waffles and beer were delicious. Getting to the place was so easy and singable was clear. It’s up the road from Manneken-Pis, so you can catch that on the way there.

This is a fun activity to learn a bit about Brussels, sample some beers, make some tasty waffles., and chat with other guests. Our class leader was a fantastic woman who had a lot of pride for Belgium culture and was warm and friendly. My teens loved the experience as well. She let us drink unlimited beers too.

We had a really fun time learning and baking waffles and beer. We had a great host that made it enjoyable and educational. Highly recommended😀

Fantastic and fun tour at Waffles N Beer last night. Had 4 great beer tastings and delicious waffle making . Instructor (Ingrid?) was awesome and the other group of participants were from a bachelor party and so lively and fun. So many laughs, so much food and great Beer! Just a fantastic night! We had an absolutely brilliant time here on our last day in Brussels. We booked the waffle‑making workshop for our daughter’s 6th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole trip. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone — kids and adults — felt confident and included. There were loads of ingredients and toppings to experiment with, and we definitely didn’t leave hungry. It was such a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and we even met lovely people from all over the world while we cooked. We’d highly recommend this to any family visiting Brussels and would happily return ourselves. Was just finding this to share with a friend and realised I hadn’t done a review.

Great experience. The lady running the workshop was very kind, knowledgable and fun! The recipe was great, whether can cook or not she helps you all the way and the waffles and beer were delicious.

Location easy to find. The set up was done in advance and had everything needed. We learned about three types of beer with healthy pours then proceeded to make our own waffle batter with a beer of our choice (an ingredient). Our group was a lot of fun… Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, USA… the waffles were delicious and plentiful. A perfect way to kick off a weekend in Brussels.

Luc gave us the best time and a perfect recipe. He is very knowledgeable and gave us many detail's and stories about Belgian beers. Very very recommended.

My sister and I had a great time. Who would’ve known beer goes with waffles so seamlessly? Ingrid gave us background about each of the beers we tasted and also provided travelling advice when asked. We even arrived an early and Ingrid let us in from the cold and gave us a warm cup of coffee. The class was small (6 people including us) and provided a fun intimate experience.

Our guide/ instructor, Francine was fabulous. She knew so much about Brussels. Not only do you make and eat waffles but you learn about, and get to drink local beers. The waffles are delicious ! Go hungry.

An excellent afternoon at Waffles ‘n Beer in Brussels. We got the chance to make our own batter (taught by the brilliant Ezra), enough to make 10-12 waffles. We also got to try a few beers along the way, whilst also including our favourite in the batter. Beers are also free flowing throughout the experience. Very good value for money, and an excellent experience overall.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with Waffles N Beer. We started our visit with a mini beer lesson and trying the beer. Making waffles was fun and not overly challenging which made it very relaxing. Eating the hot fresh waffles with a variety of toppings plus drinking beer was the perfect activity for us!

We had so much fun trying the different beers and learning to make delicious Belgium waffles! Im not a beer drinker, but the beer we tasted was delicious. Our host was fun and funny and the waffles.... tasty! I cannot wait to make these waffles for my friends and family on e back in the states.

Who would have thought that waffles and beer go so great together. Even more so when you use beer was a substitute for water in the batter! Plus you get to go home with the best waffle recipe that I’ve ever used… super light and delicious with just about anything you want to pair with it!

We are beer enthusiasts with minimal exposure to true (good) waffles, and this was a perfect blending of both! We were greeted warmly by our host Ingrid, who put us at ease. The group was a total of 10, so very comfortable size and easy to get questions answered. We started with a tasting of 3 different beers and then got to work! These were by far the best waffles i’ve ever had, nothing like American trash passed off. We had the last session of the day and did not leave hungry. There’s a variety of sweet toppings offered, not that the waffles needed it. (they were good plain) Looking forward to trying the recipe at home with savory toppings, literally the only possible suggestion to improve the evening. (there was even bonus beer for those who wanted it.)

Ingrid was a fabulous host! We tasted great beer and learnt how to make the most delicious waffles. I will definitely be buying a waffle iron and making more when I return home!!

Great experience, but had a few technical issues. First, let me say that, in the end, this experience was absolutely fabulous and everyone should do it when in Brussels. That being said, however, I did have a couple of issues. One, I had this booked on a Monday at 11. I woke up that morning to a text (around 8 am) that the teacher couldn’t make it and asking me to re-schedule. I felt like that was very late notice, but appreciated the urgency of a text exchange - not all tour operators do that. Luckily, I was able to re-schedule for Wednesday. However, because I was a single traveler, the teacher had set up the class to pair me with another single traveler. After we did the beer tasting (which was amazing and one of my favorites that I did while I was Belgium because they offered a fun flavor variety), I asked if this was a couples class and I had misunderstood. When the teacher said no, I asked to have my own table set up so I could have my own experience. I didn’t want to go back and forth with a stranger on who was going to break the eggs or sift the flour or who got to eat which waffle. The teacher seemed confused by this request, saying that the recipe made 12 waffles and that there was no way I could eat them all so I should just share. However, it’s not about the number of waffles, but the experience of the class. When a pair of sisters in the class also asked if they could have their own stations and the entire class said they were okay with waiting a few minutes to set up two more stations, she did so. I’m glad I insisted on the change, because I know it would not have been as fun for me in the original set up. All that being said, the class itself was really great. The room is cute and nicely decorated. The beers were fantastic - and I’m generally not a beer drinker. There was fun music playing and we all had a lot of laughs while we baked and ate. And, they give you a fun certificate, plus you get to keep the apron! Would definitely recommend!!
