Clovis was our guide and he gave us a wonderful tour of five different chocolate shops in Brussels! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and of the shops that we visited. Covid was engaging and answered all of our questions and provided recommendations for things to do and see while we were in the city.
We had such a fun time on our Chocolate tour and learned so much about chocolate and Brussels as well. Zoey was a wonderful guide! 💗
Wonderful tour. Our tour guide, Zoey, was amazing!! Very enthusiastic and provided great history and context for the tour. She also provided great general recommendations for food and visiting Belgium, in addition to the chocolate history and nuanced differences about the chocolatiers. 10/10, would absolutely recommend!
We had a small group of 4, which was nice and personal. Easy to navigate. Asmine did a great job explaining the history of the different chocolate shops and chocolate making.
We chose this tour since it was a small group. Sara was friendly and informative. She made the tour fun! We learned the history of chocolate, its process and tasted delicious chocolates! Highly recommend!
Incredibly fun and insightful! It was interesting learning not only about chocolate history here in BXL, but also some general history as well. Fahri was a fantastic guide, and made whole experience even more enjoyable.
Fahri was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. We skipped the tourist traps and went for the real stuff! There are other larger tours that we walked by, but the intimate size of our group felt like a private tour. Samples were delicious too!
Fellow travelers, BEWARE! Do not book this. The tourist guide was a NO SHOW! No emails, no texts, no call about what’s going on. I called their number but phone number was not in service. Very unprofessional.Viator did refund what I paid eventually but this company ruined my plan. Please book your chocolate tour directly from your companies. Don’t use this one .
The guide was great! She had a lot of information on not just the chocolate but some history of the area as well. The tastings were wonderful too!
Thomas was extremely knowledgeable, and this was such a great tour centered around chocolate in Brussels. I had such a wonderful time. Definitely loved some of the stops, especially one at a very famous chocolatier in Brussels. Highly recommend this one as a great foundational tour!
Carlota was so incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, and personable… I can’t find enough adjectives to describe how amazing she was! I would absolutely recommend this tour, without a doubt!
Such a fabulous tour! Sarah was the perfect guide- informative, funny, and a joy to spend two hours with! Definitely a must-do in Brussels for history and chocolate lovers!
Our guide was very knowledgeable not just about the chocolate and history of the store and chocolatiers, but also shared general history on the walk.
Wonderful walking tour featuring a visit to some of the original stores of the “chocolate maison” with delicious tastings and interesting stories in a very small group. Our guide Zoe was the best: Energetic, enthusiastic about sharing this experience with us. Highly recommended!
We toured 5 different chocolate shops and tasted 7-8 assorted chocolates in total. Asmine was our enthusiastic guide and led the group of 11. She did a great job explaining the different chocolate-making styles, their diverse histories, and the variety of tastes we encountered. Some of the tastes were unique and we probably wouldnt have tried them on our own. The tour also offers small discounts at some of the shops.
Sara was a fantastic guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of chocolate and selected yummy chocolates to taste.
Great way to learn about Brussels and eat amazing chocolate along the way. Definitely a highlight of the trip!
Very nice tour guide, super friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a great experience with our tour guide Sara! We learned more about the history of Brussels as well as the many chocolate selections available in the surrounding area. Our tour guide also provided personal recommendations which were wonderful!

Sara was exceptional. She provided an unbelievably comprehensive overview of the magic of Belgian chocolate. Her knowledge, communication skills and personal engagement were superb. She added plenty of insights regarding the broader historical and cultural beauty of Brussels. A strong recommendation to add an exceptional layer to your time in this fantastically interesting city.
We had a great time during this tour.. learned about chocolate in Brussels but also some city facts. Our guide Sarah was excellent, we feel lucky to have had her as our tour guide
This was a great tour. Our guide, Asmin, was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the chocolates and the choclatiers we were visiting. She provided us with choices that were not our normal go-to for chocolate and they were all delicious. Also learnt a few things about the history of the local area and the architecture, which was also very interesting. She did a great job keeping things moving and it never felt dull. Thanks again Asmin, we really enjoyed the experience.
My siblings and I had a fun afternoon on the chocolate tour with Sara! We sampled delicious chocolate while getting some interesting information about Brussels and the pioneers of the chocolate industry. I would recommend a tour with Sara!
We had a wonderful time on the Groovy Tour chocolate experience. Our tour guide Sara was great and in addition to sharing her chocolate knowledge we learned a lot about Belgium and some cool local spots to visit in Brussels. Highly recommend this tour and Sara!
Well balanced tour in terms of info, locations, history and samples of different types of chocolate. Our guide Asmin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made everyone, including our two young kids, feel included and able to learn something new. Would highly recommend
A lot of fun. Come ready to taste. Our leader was very informative and made the tour very enjoyable.
Great experience - very relaxed and chill tour that hit the famous spots but also a few hidden gems.
Wonderful and informative way to eat your way through Belgium chocolate while learning some city history as well. Our group of five really enjoyed it and recommend it to others.
This was a delicious and informative tour! Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. What a great way to see this lovely city! I highly recommend this chocolate tour!
Our chocolate tasting tour in Brussels was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Belgian chocolate. He explained the history, traditions, and craftsmanship behind each praline in a way that was both fun and fascinating. We visited several excellent chocolatiers and tasted a wonderful variety of chocolates, each one delicious. The guide made the whole experience feel personal and engaging, answering questions and sharing great stories about Brussels along the way. If you enjoy chocolate, this tour is a must. A perfect and memorable way to discover the sweetest side of Brussels!
Had a wonderul time! Our guide was lovely and the chocolates were wonderful. It was neat that we got to try such a wide variety of classic and new chocolates from different shops. It was a bit difficult to find the tour location, but once we arrived, everything went very smoothly. Just build in a little time to find the spot!
The chocolate tour was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. It was definitely a very small group and felt very intimate and personalized. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Kubus was very knowledgeable and told us lots about the different types of chocolate and chocolatiers in Brussels and even threw in some local history. We tasted some amazing chocolates. Highly recommended.
Young man was very kind and provided lots of information. Loved learning the history of each chocolatier.
A great introduction to the great chocolatiers of Belgium! Tastes several different chocolates, a couple quite unusual to my American tastebuds and I loved them! Yasmin was a supper guide, giving a short architectural and history lesson while we walked. I would recommend this tour for an early day in Brussels.
Great experience. Our tour guide Kobis was great. He was very informational and efficient. I would definitely recommend doing this tour with Kobis.
Tour was great (once you’re able to find the meeting place). Asmine was very patient and eloquent with all the details (2 seniors in the tour). Very interesting and tasty sampling
Nice tour with a great leader who shared a lot of knowledge on both chocolate and the city. Tried several different chocolates and had a nice time. Would recommend.
We got to step through tastings that were so well planned and explained - totally intriguing and mind blowing ! A fabulous overview of what to expect when faced with so many chocolate choices in the chocolate realm of the world … an excellent tour to take … delicious !!
Our guide Thomas was excellent! We learned so much and had a great time enjoying the city with him. We learned a lot about chocolate and enjoyed a lot of delicious treats!
Zoey gave us a fun tour of 5 different chocolate shops in the city. We learned about how the first chocolatiers started their business and how new shops are changing things up.
Zoe was a great guide and knew so much about the history of the places we visited. LOTS of chocolate samples and opportunities to buy as well. Overall nice way to try a bunch of shops at once while also getting a little tour of the city.
It was really fun! Lots of good chocolate and we learned a lot. I would recommend bringing a water bottle!! :) we loved our tour guide and all the ones she picked out. It honestly was my favorite part of our trip because my husband and I felt like chocolate pros after. Mary’s was by far my favorite. I liked the coconut one.
Your tour guide Thomas was great. Not only did we stop at 6 chocolate locations, we walked through historic parts of the city and obtained history of the city.
You will have a brief chance to shop at each store - some will offer 10% discount while on the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, I learned a lot about Belgium chocolate.
Our guide was great. (Yasmin) She gave a fun mix of chocolate and city tour. I enjoyed also that it wasn't too long.
Loved the small group. We saw other groups, which were much larger and had a very difficult time getting into and out of the different chocolate shops. Asmin was a great guide. In addition to all the information about chocolate, she gave us some history of the different places we saw as we were walking along.
We had a wonderful time on this chocolate walking tour! Our guide Yasemin was very personable, bubbly, and informative the entire time. She was sure to engage with everyone in the group. At each stop along the tour, she provided lots of knowledge about the chocolates, the shops they came from, and the city history as well. The value of this tour was excellent for the amount of chocolate and information we got! The tour also included a discount at most of the stops to purchase additional chocolate. The chocolates were all delicious and spanned a variety of Belgian techniques. We had a group size of around 10, which felt on the larger side for what would be ideal but it was still manageable. The knowledge and charisma of our guide made this tour unforgettable!
