We went to Ghent last Friday the 15th. When we arrived at the meeting point, we saw that on the excursion there were people who had contracted the visit with more than one agency, we contracted it with Buendía Tours. When we arrived in Ghent, we visited two areas of tourist interest and in the third we stood for 45 minutes listening. It became very tedious for us since when you have been visiting different places for more than a day and, in addition, you are tired, you need more dynamic activities to capture your attention and make you even more interested in what you are seeing.

Itinerary
Before leaving Brussels behind, we will stop at the iconic Atomium. We will admire its more than 100 meters high and the spheres about 18 meters in diameter that represent the nine provinces of Belgium before we continue our path.
We begin our guided tour in front of the Town Hall. Here our guide will explain the different architectural styles of the building.
Our guide will explain this iconic tower and the history surrounding your dragon.
We arrived in Ghent, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. We walk to the center, where the guided tour will begin.
Do you know that Belgian churches organize concerts and other events?
In front of the original facade of the masons' guild house, our guide will explain what the guild houses are and their peculiarity.
In front of the church of Saint Nicholas, we find the Korenmarkt. In this place the peculiar history of the building where the post office used to be will be explained.
We will follow the banks of the Lys river. We will get to know the buildings that surround the canal, such as the "grain house" or the current Marriott Hotel. You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.
You will discover the exterior and interior of the Cathedral of Ghent, where the most stolen painting in history is kept, the famous painting by the Van Eyck brothers "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb".
The next stop is the meat house, which dates back to the 15th century and was originally a covered market.
In front of the Meat House, we will make a small stop at a traditional street stall. Here the seller will tell us about the most famous sweet in Ghent, the cuberdon.
The last point of our guided tour is the Sint-Veerleplein square. Here our guide will explain the history of the square and the different buildings around it. Also, it will give you some tips on where to eat or which are the best souvenir shops. The guide will also remember when and where you need to be to take the bus back to Brussels.
Free time, you will enjoy approximately 4 hours of free time (it depends on the traffic and the rhythm of the group).
On this bridge you can take some incredible photos. The history of the tower of the Church of San Miguel will also be explained here.

A great outing and a great Isa guide very pleasant and very good explanations, delighted with the guides
I had the Argentine guide and excellent, I have no complaints. All I have to say is that I would add an extra hour to explore because there are so many things to see.
The city loved it and had a lot to do with our guide Melisa. Super friendly and very graceful to tell things, made the visit very enjoyable. The only catch we could get out of the excursion is that it got short. We would have liked to come back to Brussels a little later, but I suppose that is a good sign.
I have to say that thanks to the guide that we had affectionately the Uruguayan fell in love with Ghent and it is the best memory that I bring from Belgium, impressive as it transmits and how it lives, I would go on any excursion with her as a guide and what to say about the city that is a must if you go to the country
He talked and talked and he kept talking. Come on history and more history and nothing anecdotal, interesting, with hook... Anyway, a toston of guide who thought he was the king of guides.
I went on a trip to Brussels with some friends, and we decided to stop one day in the wonderful city of Ghent. The guide who touched us, Anais, was very friendly and close, even provided us with his personal phone in case we had any problems during the excursion. He explained everything in a professional way, yet easy to understand and entertaining. The magnificent bus ride. Punctual on departure and arrival, and the driver very good. 100% recommended. Anais you are the best!!
Excursion very enjoyable, where they explain perfectly the most interesting places. Our guide Jesus of Albacete teaches you Ghent at the pace of a historical novel. I found the way to visit excellent. You have a few hours off to see some places that you are interested in seeing again, eating, shopping....They recommend places both Bruges and Brussels to eat, shop... I give it a 10
Highly recommended to enjoy getting to know a beautiful city loaded with history in a very pleasant and original way with Pablo the size... of unpronounceable surname and Jesus the Albacete...
Amazing visit to Ghent with Mark. The tour was super fun and enjoyable (despite the cold) thanks to Mark for his enthusiasm telling the story of Ghent and rating his love for the city. Fully recommended.
I have done the tour with my cousin, (hello Laura!) in Ghent and we have really come back delighted. Our guide, Pablo (el maño) is very good, introduces you to history and manages to convey his passion for the city, its history and its art. I didn't really know anything about Ghent, but it was a great discovery. Great too to be given so many recommendations regarding places to eat, typical dishes and drinks and places to visit in the free hours they leave.
Just wonderful... George enjoys his work and that is rating, I fell in love with Ghent and I think he had something to do!!
Today my cousin and I have done the full day tour in Ghent and it has been great, our guide PABLO "EL MAÑO" is a guide of 10. It completely gets you into history and makes the tour very enjoyable, interesting and dynamic. It is rating that he loves that city and conveys his passion for history. We recommend it 100%. Also to the other guide, Marta, with whom we are all very happy. 100% recommended! And if you read to us, say hello, Pablo!
We've got it totally right. The guides Roberto and Ivan, are very professional, attentive and certainly willing to have a great day. Fully recommended. A hit.
I want to thank the Company and, above all, the guides who accompanied us today on this wonderful excursion. Many thanks to Anne and Martha for joining us and giving us a great day, despite the cool and rain, in Ghent; especially to Martha for her great explanation at all times, her approach and her good spirits. I would definitely repeat it with them!
An excellent guide, explains everything very well, is close and is for what you need. I highly recommend it.
Quite a visual spectacle. Well told by the guide of Buendia Tours. If you are going to Brussels, you should not miss this tour.
An impressive excursion, especially by the team of guides, we were with Melisa and we loved her explanations, stories... made the excursion very enjoyable and gave us several tips and explained everything we asked, a charm come.
Today we visited the city of Ghent with Melisa, from Buendía Tours. 100% recommended. Friendly, friendly, close. With knowledge of art, architecture and history he has provided anecdotes of the place with a lot of grace and giving useful data on places to eat, drink beer and the famous "belgados". Unable to find anything negative in this place if she shows you. Congratulations, I loved it. I hope to come back. Greetings. Victor.
Again, as happened to us in Bruges with him, we enjoyed a great day in Ghent thanks to Diego’s good work, his information, advice and kindness. Greetings from Stela, Mark, Simon and Matthew.
