Very well very interesting too
Laura was a great tour guide. She’s been in Brussels for most of her life and knows the city well. She was able to add some of her life experiences to some of the stories. It was a lot of fun (and sometimes disturbing) the dark and crazy tails.
Laura was an excellent guide!!! This tour shares many darker side stories with twist and hipótesis as to what really happened. Laura has lived most of life in Brussels enabling her to add personal experience to the stories. Highly recommend this tour
I enjoyed this tour very much. It was both informative and fun. And the guide Hyago was very nice. He knows Brussels very well and gave us many tips about where to go for a beer or to visit.
Highly recommend. Our guide was great!
Tour guide was very annoying. Kept getting off topic and rambling on about politics and himself. It was the most excruciating 2 hours ever spent. Nothing interesting or unique. It was like taking a walk with a high school history substitute teacher trying to prove himself worthy of the job.
Ellie was an amazing tour guide, full of fun facts, and information, also helped a lot with advise for things to do for the rest of the holiday, highly recommend
Ellie was super! Thank you very much ♥️
Ellie was absolutely amazing loved every minute!
We loved this tour. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was interesting and took us all over Brussels.
Great personalized tour since we were the only ones who showed up. Our guide was able to not only tell us some of the legends but also tailor it to what our interests were. He also gave us valuable information related to our stay in Brussels.
Thanks Thomas Hudson for the great experience!
The evening tours are lovely. Because you get the chance to see things that aren’t frequented during the day. We had a super small tour and Ellie made it great. She knew a lot of history and there were lots of stories. And we saw a lot of Brussels I wouldn’t have thought to check out. Ellie’s knowledge and personable nature made for a great tour. My tour was Tuesday July 7th.
Bram was an excellent tour guide! His enthusiasm & energy was fantastic & kept us all engaged throughout. He was super knowledgeable & more than happy to answer any questions anyone had. Time flew by without us realising, as we were never bored. Would highly recommend him!
Thank you thomas! We love your passion! very much worth the price
Walking tour around Brussels, different dark stories to learn more about some landmarks and popular spots
This tour provided an excellent, entertaining, and accurate account of the history of Belgium. We appreciated hearing about the good, bad, and ugly aspects of Belgium. My entire family highly recommends this tour!
Our Tour Guide was very nice and made the whole tour a legendary one. It didn’t feel like we walked that much and it was Fun for everybody. 10/10 would recommend doing this tour.
Very nice introduction to Brussels. The woman who gave the tour did not speak English very clearly so in some parts we had trouble understanding her. The tour encourages you to give a good tip so people should be aware that they do persuade you for a tip and it is not just the amount in viator.
Fun walking tour with Ellie. Starting in the Grand Place we spent just under two hours walking around the city, hearing tales of hero’s and villains from the cities past. Ellie was enthusiastic and engaging, keeping our small group entertained along the way.
We took this tour on our first day in Brussels. Our guide was very informative and answered all our questions. I learned very much about the history of Brussels which set us up for an enjoyable holiday. The guide gave us help on things to see and where to go for the rest of our stay. A brilliant two hours with a great guide. Thank you.
Ellie was an excellent and dedicated guide. The tour was a great way to get started learning about the hidden side Brussels’ history.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially for the history of the city and time of day! It is nice to have the option of a later tour after the museums are closed! I recommend it!
Great tour (the night tour)! Ellie is an amazing guide. Funny, interesting & highly knowledgeable. We highly recommend a tour with Ellie.
Well, the tour was good, but the guide did not want to be there. It was a small group, and several times I had to ask her if she wanted to leave. One of the four chose not to do the tour because the guide kept trying to go home. She knew plenty just wanted to bail because she thought she would not make enough money.
Our guide was fun and professional while being very informative. We liked her presentation and hearing about different aspects of old Brussels. We recommend this highly.
A lovely evening tour with Laura. Enjoyed this walk about the other side of Brussels and seeing parts of the city you would not normally see. Laura was very knowledgable and answered all questions well. A very enjoyable evening.
Good tour, learned additional stuff about Brussels that you don’t get on regular tour. keep in mind if not enough people sign up it can be cancelled last minute.
This is a great tour to explore the city center of Brussels! Our guide Ian was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller teller. He filled the streets and squares with life and provided very interesting background information about what happened in this city. Highly recommendable!
our croatian king slayed with all the fun and spooky ooky facts. very sad they strapadod the ladies - history is quite dark. he was a great storyteller.
Really enjoyed this tour and learning about the darker history of Brussels, but it was definitely Raheem that made the tour. He was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the area's history, but was also super funny and engaging, so made it fun for everyone. Would recommend a tour with Raheem.
Firstly, this is essentially a FREE tour of the city by volunteers……but!!! We made our way into the city centre, passed the druggies and the sex workers, tried to park the motorbike legally but the signage was woeful and the parking letters Had a life of their own, or indeed no life at all. I hasten to add that we only ended up in the city centre in the bike as the public transport was woeful. We finally got there, having had a text 2 hours before the start time advising we MIST inform if cannot make it, stressed and anxious. About 10 minutes after the official start time, stood chin wagging with a lovely lady from New Zealand, the guide announces that the tour couldn’t go ahead without 10 people, there were only ever 3 people booked on but ‘we hope someone may turn up’ They knew the tour was under subscribed! They could have called it off allowing us to organise something else for our last night of our holiday. They chose not to! So as a final night in a 12 day motorbike WW2 tour taking in D Day beaches, the Canadian Somme territory (I know that’s WW1!), Ann Franks house, Bergen Belsen, Berlin and Cologne was a massive let down and disappointment Sad end to a great educational holiday!
If you go in Spring/Summer, it will not be dark. Still a very interesting tour of Brussels. Very knowledgeable tour guide who enjoys her job
Maryam was amazing. Smart, funny knowledgeable and on-point with stories about the Darker Side of Brussels. Better than the standard tours by a head.
Excellent tour guide. He took us off the beaten path to show us some of the local lore and hidden history and fun facts most tourists would never get to see. He so pointed out the local hidden spots to eat at.
Very informative and fun tour. Highly recommend to do it on your first day in the city. Great guide!
Informative and very interesting! Our tour guide Bram was excellent, passionate and captivating
This was not the tour I booked; it proved to be a history of Brussels Tour. There was a lot of standing rather than walking
We were the only two to show up for the tour and so the guide canceled it. It would have been nice to get a message warning us of this beforehand. The guide also offered to do the tour with just us, but wanted 30 euro from us to do it.
Thomas was our guide and he was excellent. Very informative and fun and was engaging and friendly guide
10 out of 10 for our guide Marc. He is funny and could offer interesting stories every step of the way in Brussels. 2 hours went by like a breeze with his knowledge and humour. Couldn’t recommend more!
We really enjoyed this tour! It is great to see Brussels after dark. There were places we wouldn’t thought to have gone on our own, and it’s always a pleasure to learn the history as you walk.
Guide was very educated, well-spoken, informative, and pleasant. Just about the time I thought a hill would kill me she’d stop to give more information. It’s as if she had it perfectly timed! Highly recommend!
for me I love coty walk at night high recommend
Great experience with Miguel on what was apparently his first time doing this tour and he was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the buildings and history behind them. Miguel tried to interact with everyone on the guide to make everyone feel comfortable highly recommend this tour and especially Miguel
Great tour - lots of fun facts and interesting history told in a story. Easy to follow along and vovered a lot!!!
We did the 8.00pm experience. Our guide was funny, extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and we had fun with the other guests. It was a small group with plenty of interaction. Lots of very interesting history. We would highly recommend.
Maryam( I think that was her name, apologies if it’s wrong) was delightful. She walked through the city pointing out not only the most obvious sites, but also those quite unusual that we would never have found or understood the significance of them. She was most willing to answer our questions and the whole evening was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this tour as an alternative for an addition to a very traditional tour.
Good your guide, fun, enjoyable. Not too much walking. Good sized group.
