European Quarter Comedy Tour

We had a wonderful tour with Dani. His keen insight into European politics was impressive and he explained everything in a very accessible way. If you are looking for an informative tour presented in an engaging way, Dani is your man!

A solid and unique introduction to the European political system, with humorous commentary and anecdotes woven throughout. This was just as educational as it was entertaining. If you'd like to hear perspectives of the different players in the EU ecosystem, including what goes on behind the scenes, this is the tour for you! Dani was a fantastic guide- personable, easy-going, inclusive and had a deep understanding of the EU. He seemed to take quite a flexible approach, tailoring his commentary to the interests of participants on the day. (While I attended as a 'beginner', some others in the group had experience with, or within, the system, and Dani encouraged questions from all.) I also appreciated Dani's flexibility in letting me bring a dog along!

This is a fantastic tour that I HIGHLY recommend if you’re interested in politics at all. Dani was an outstanding tour guide. It was incredibly informative (especially as an American who knew very little about the EU politics prior to this tour). Dani presented all the information in a very balanced and humorous way and I really appreciated his perspective as a former lobbyist. The tour included a good balance of history and current events. This was my favorite tour (of three) that I took while in Brussels and I can’t recommend it enough!

It was a very good visit, I highly recommend it! It's a great way to understand how the European institutions work. The guide is very instructive and manages to make the explanations funny. You also learn a lot about the day-to-day life of those who work in the institutions, with lots of anecdotes.

I joined Dani in his tour in November 2024, and as a young person wanting to approach the European world and wanting to learn something more, I can say that I really found what I was searching for! The tour was full of curiosities, questions, history, discoveries and humor, that explained from a former worker in the European Union, really let you dive in the massive mechanism of the EU. Dani was really available and prepared with questions, he really found ways to keep such a heavy subject, so light and funny, also with the use of schemes and jokes!. I would only recommend, as most of the time you stand still, to get dressed with many layers if you plan to do it in this season, because it can get quite freezing, especially if you're not used to it. Weather apart, really recommend, 10/10!!

The guide is a walking encyclopedia and a born entertainer. if you plan to visit the European Quarter, you would be silly to miss the opportunity of seeing it through his eyes.

As someone working in the "EU bubble", I ended up learning a lot of interesting facts and tidbits of history. Whether you are new to Brussels or familiar with the the inner workings, I highly recommend this tour. Dani is incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Also recommend asking for anecdotes or if you are an EU bubbler yourself, share yours too! If you are visiting brussels - you would be missing out if you don't do this tour.

People don’t usually associate the Brussels EU quarter with comedy, but in this 2 hour tour, Dani Mora manages to make the impossible possible. Being both a seasoned tour guide and entertainer, his passion for both shines through and he managed to keep us all engaged and entertained throughout! I also learned a lot of new things about this part of Brussels I had no idea about like the former Nazi HQ and where the EU Nobel peace prize lives! If you like history, politics and comedy- definitely don’t miss this tour!

Brilliant, if like me you have struggled to understand how the European Union works, with the numerous institutions, playes and a impossible jargon, this guide is all you need. Dani has done the impossible and created an amusing and informative tour based on his unique experience in the bubble. And you get to enjoy a nice walk in a fascinating city!

Even after 10 years living in Brussels I learned a lot during this tour: some history, the inner secrets of the "EU bubble" and of course, all the jokes. Dani's tour is super informative but above all, a lot of fun. 100% recommend both for tourists and residents.

This was by far the best I've taken in Brussels. Dani is funny, witty and quite knowledgeable about the European institutions’s history and functions. A great tour! Brought my family who has visited Brussels several times already and they really enjoyed it. The guide is a great story teller and was really good of adapting his stories according to the knowledge of the participants.
