As a residence city of the Counts of Leuven, the square was granted market law in 1150, which led to economic activities being developed. Markets were held up to three times a week.
The city of Leuven was not only the seat of three successive universities, but also of some prestigious university libraries. The University Library on leuven's Ladeuzeplein is a beautiful piece of heritage!
The brewery of Stella Artois, part of the largest brewery group in the world AB InBev, is still firmly rooted in its home city of Leuven
The St. Peter's Church is located in the heart of Leuven. It was built in 986, in Romanesque style, making it the oldest church in the city.
The Klein Begijnhof was first mentioned in 1272. The district consisted of a street and two cul-de-sacs where women who served in the nearby Sint-Geertruiabdij lived.
The former abbey church Sint-Geertrui is one of the five medieval parish churches in Leuven, located outside the first city wall between the Dijle and the Mechelsestraat

It was super fun and you still come to places that you don't think of yourself. Also wonderful to do in the open air and at your own pace.
It was first a quick search how the search worked in terms of heading to the places to be found. Once we got the hang of it, it went smoothly. Been to beautiful places in Leuven where we don't go otherwise! Tip: it is nice that at every location to be found there is an assignment that has to do with the place instead of rather general questions such as “beer brewed in Leuven” that was a shame to walk all the way to the muntstraat eg.
We had a great time. Hard to start up for a while.
A 'known' city and still discovered hidden places, what is so nice about these city trips! We are ready for another discovery
We went to places we would never have visited without the treasure hunt. Beautiful places of the city seen! Very nice!
We did a Qula scavenger hunt in Leuven that pleasantly surprised us. You'll get to places and nooks you'd never do otherwise. There is also a bit of competition in it that makes it even more challenging.
We had a very nice day with the Qula search. We went to places that you would otherwise never visit when visiting a city. The search for the solution of the assignments, also caused challenges and gave rise to some competitive spirit.
Beautiful new places discovered in Leuven! Nice, interesting quiz questions... Was already the 3rd Qula we played, highly recommended :-)
Quala tour stands for surprising and interesting. You get to know the city at your own pace. You will visit the most famous places (large market, town hall) but also small interesting places (old fish market, Damien church) where you would not otherwise visit. This combined with fun facts about the place. The facts and history are short and sweet. Which doesn't seem like a long history tour about the city. In the meantime, you can plan your own rest or visit nice shops that you encounter along the way. Highly recommended to get to know the city in half a day.
Pleasant way to walk around the sights of a city. Also fun for (older) children to follow and participate. Clear instructions. (And in Leuven memories of the student days come back after so many years)
This city walk is a very nice way to discover Leuven. Enough space to stop at a terrace of your choice.
Very fun activity to do with older children, you immediately see the beautiful places in the city and are still active. And if you make two teams, in our case boys against girls, you also get a bit of competition. The game is well and clearly put together!
Nice route past nice places, questions could have been a little more difficult with perhaps a bit more puzzling. But now you can enjoy a lovely walk in the sun with a play element without any hassle!
It was a very nice experience. We got to know the city in a different way. Otherwise we would just walk through the shopping streets and take a break in one of the many cafes. Sometimes they were questions on which we had to guess, and then we guessed wrong... but we now remember that the baker's statue has already been destroyed a lot!
Very nice route so you see everything immediately. Nice questions too. Nice that two pictures had to be put in this time. Highly recommended
A very nice way to explore the city. Also because you can walk to the next point in different ways. Hilarious when you've reached the next point, because the app will let out cheering sounds. Nice variety of questions that you have to answer immediately and questions where you first have to look around in the relevant place. Furthermore, we were spoken to a lot by other people. So we were able to get other people excited about this way of exploring a city. A note: a tip was given for a nice pub/bar. But that bar has been closed (for a while now).
The search was not in chronological order, we had to return often, was interesting, beautiful city, very beautiful buildings.
This is a very nice way to discover nice places in a city. You would never visit or find these if you did this on your own initiative
Fine questions you see Leuven at its best. Sometimes some problems with the internet but then you just get to your destination with the card. Cozy afternoon had with on time n terrace.
Nicely built tour, with attention also to lesser-known corners in Leuven. Fun and intelligent questions, fine! Only problems with ‘locking in’ the app once we were there: sometimes walking away and back to get the question. (iPhone - we were notified, but too bad for a widely distributed device)
It was a real hit. We had a good time and discovered many unprecedented corners of Leuven. It was the hottest day of June with 35 degrees but that did not prevent us from having a nice day among friends. Highly recommended!
It's a very fun city game to discover a city. In this case Leuven. Also nice that you decide when you start the break. the Service of Qula is good and you have immediate contact and it will be solved for you.
