The tour was very good, our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and of the history of beers. The price for the tour is high, but it includes the price of the beers and the snacks.

Elodie the tour guide was lovely, but as a regular city tour booker I have to admit I was disappointed with this tour. 3 small beers and 2 small bar snacks for 2 people was £190! Elodie’s knowledge about the beers was good but the tour could be improved by giving more information on Brussels too.

It was fabulous! Elodie was VERY knowledgeable about beers and Belgian history! She’s SO friendly and so lovely!

We enjoyed our Beer and Bites tour in Brussels! It exceeded all of our expectations. Our host Elodie was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful sharing fascinating insights about the brewing process and Belgian beer styles. We also learned about the history of the area. We stopped at three distinct locations, each offering a unique atmosphere and selection of beers. The cheese and meats at each stop were also delicious. The combination of great beers and engaging stories made for an awesome experience. This tour is a must for anyone looking to dive into the Belgian beer scene! Thank you Elodie!!!

Elodie was amazing! This tour was a highlight of our entire trip. We discovered spots we never would have found on our own and tried three different kinds of Belgian beers. The cheeses Elodie paired with the beers were great as well. 10/10 recommend this tour!

I booked Elodie’s tour for my partner and I on the first night we were in Brussels. It worked out perfectly since Elodie gave us many recommendations throughout the city. Elodie started off our tour a bit of Belgian history and then we were quickly off to our first bar. We had 3 stops and at each of the bars we had one drink and a small table snack. Elodie gave her recommendation of beer for each bar and shared some history behind the breweries and/or type of beer too. She did not steer us wrong either! We had a fantastic evening together full of laughs, good stories, and learning about Belgian culture from a local’s perspective. I HIGHLY recommend Elodie.

We had a wonderful time! Elodie was super communicative from the start - asking us about our preferences and anywhere we wanted to special request. She was on time exactly where she said she'd meet us, friendly, open, and easy to talk to. My girlfriend LOVES beer and came away from the experience saying she had two of the best beers she's ever tried in her life. Very, very high praise! If you're a beer lover, or wanting to experience the less touristy side of where to drink like locals do, this is the tour to book!

Elodie was very knowledgeable about local beers and bars. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun! She reached out early to make sure she could tailor the experience for us and gave excellent directions for the meeting location.

Elodie received us on our first nigh and what a wonderful start to our journey. She was attentive and asked specific questions so she could suggest a drink each of us would enjoy. Elodie was very personable and not only offered suggestions for brews during the tour, but gave suggestions for snacks afterwards and even provided restaurant/food recommendations for the rest of our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better commencement.

Our party of 4 had an unforgettable beer tasting experience with Elodie. She started the evening by asking about our tasting preferences and expectations from the evening and she was able to tailor perfectly the tour to our needs. All 3 places we visited were mostly “local” and Elodie always encouraged us to try some new beer, but for those who insisted to stay within the “tasting territory” they like she also found a perfect match. The biggest discovery for us was a lambic beer which Elodie reserved to the third bar. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would strongly recommend to book this tour for those who’d like to expend their knowledge and learn new things about Belgian beer and have a real local experience with a great guide.

The guide was friendly, conversational, knowledgeable, native, and easy-going. Really appreciated this relatively quick, but fun and informative tour. Definitely worth it!

We enjoyed meeting Elodie who introduced us to the delights and amazing range of Belgian beers. She was friendly, good company and engaging. We also learned some interesting details about Belgian history, places to visit and culture. I would recommend this tour especially for those new to Brussels.

Although the guide was perfectly nice — she even met us at our Grand Place hotel for convenience — three beers, a few cubes of cheese, and a piece of shared pepperoni stick, do not exact justify this tour’s time or price. Just saying. The creators of this tour need to add a little more for this to justify the price.

Our guide Elodie, was easy to communicate with, punctual, answered all of our questions and was a very nice person to talk to in any setting. Our group of 3 had a great time as she showed us some places we never would've seen without her. Great first experience with the app and Elodie.

DO NOT BOOK WITH WITHLOCALS I booked a private 90 minute tour through Trip Advisor with the Withlocals company. I waited for 15 minutes at the instructed meeting place but my guide, Estafania, did not show up. I called the company who did not apologize for my guide not showing up and could not provide me an estimated timeframe for when I would receive my money back. This is the extremely unprofessional service you will get for paying almost $75 Canadian dollars.

This was our family's first time to Brussels. We met on a beautiful day and enjoyed our destinations and the walk between them. Dorian shared historical knowledge and answered all of our questions. The beers were delightful and the company was as well. We would not have found these places on our own! We had a much more enjoyable and relaxing time touring with a guide. Thank you to Dorian for a lovely time.

Steven our guide was excellent. He has a lot of pride and knowledge of Brussels. Showed us so many other parts of the city that we didn’t even know about. A must do.

Christoph's knowledge of beer and Brussel's history was wonderful. We learned a lot about both and specifically appreciated his knowledge of Trappist beers. He is a kind man as well.

Pros: Enjoyable evening out with our local guide Steven. We learned about Belgium culture and history while tasting some interesting beers. Cons: Compared to other beer tours we have taken, this tour was average in terms of information and value. We would have liked more information on the history and types of Belgium beer. The snack consisted of cubed cheese at the last bar.

My husband and I enjoyed our tour with Elodie. She was very funny and taught us a bit about the history and culture of Belgium in addition to the beer. We liked the beer we tried and enjoyed the places we went.

Dorian was an awesome guide! We learned a lot about local beer, the history of Belgium, and Belgian culture. There was great conversation, and we genuinely enjoyed the tour. Dorian also gave us some excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!

Dorian was a excellent host and tour guide for all the Belgian micro breweries. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Brussels and its culture. He brought me to local areas and places as well, for an authentic touch. I would recommend him to all who visit the city!

We only had one day in Brussels (literally) and this tour was EXACTLY what we wanted! 🤗 We never even heard of Withlocals and I’m so glad we found it! We wanted to experience the local Brussels culture mainly the food (including Belgium chocolate & waffles) beer, history and sights! Suki nailed it! She created a personalized culinary tour of some of the BEST local Brussels gems! She was so insightful, pleasant and friendly! The tour was the right amount of time , planning and was not rushed or overwhelming! We even had time for a 2nd round of beer flights (Brussels Beer Project) and explore the best libation boutique (LIB)! Our one day in Brussels was more than we expected! We had the most ambrosial 😋 Brussels experience with Suki! Thank you!

Unsere Begleitung war zwar pünktlich, hat aber den Treffpunkt leider per Handymessage verschoben. Auch wurde viel zu oft angeregt, gegen Mehrkosten die Tour zu verlängern. Schlussendlich war die Tour interessant, jedoch etwas hastig. Die Einblicke waren vielseitig! Die Sonderanforderungen (Lebensmittelallergie) wurden leider mehrfach vergessen. Leider musste sich meine Schwester einmal ihr Bier mit dem Quide teilen, weil er meinte: „das funktioniert auch so!“ Snacks haben wir keine erhalten. Preisleistung war grenzwertig, nochmal würden wir es nicht machen.

We don’t really know what we expected, but that we would go and talk with a guide, drink 3 interesting beers together and talk about everything from history to politics and climate issues, we really didn’t expect. But you world as we cost us. We quickly found the tone, and although English was not the everyday language for some of us, the conversation fluctuated fine. There was a lot of laughter afterwards and we know a lot that otherwise would never have found out. Recommended for anyone who has plenty of time to listen, learn and walk around the city. - Thank you, Steven!
