Not reliable. Departure intervals are far apart Only one stop available to change lines with long wait times in between. I would not recommend.

Hop on Hop Off Tours are wonderful for simplifying navigating a city and having access to popular tourist locations. It helped me feel more comfortable & confident navigating Brussels as a solo traveler. Very helpful and easy overview of the city sections.

Perhaps it was because we are at the end of the tourist season, but I found this HOHO experience to be lacking. Based on other HOHO (in other cities), this was a modest trip. The Blue Line in my opinion, was not worth the trip and agree to a previous review that the trip to the Atomium was unnecessarily long. We were also not informed that when we switched from the Red Line to the Blue Line, that we had to wait 30 minutes for the Blue Line to start ( we sat on the bus and had to ask the driver what was going on) and then there was a 20 minute stop at the Atomium (also not listed). If you like the HOHO, its still a way to get around the city, just know that if you've done them before, this is not the best.

It’s very difficult to find a sign on the street at Grand Centraal. After a day and a half, finally got on the bus. Viator was very helpful. Not tootbus drivers.

I love a hop on hop off tour when you have limited time in a city. It’s the perfect way to see more of the city! The app made it so easy to find the stops and see where the next bus was/when it would be there!

Very good way of seeing the highlights of Brussels. Buses are regular and the headphones actually work!! Only downside was no air con on a very hot day!

A grim experience. Toot app is almost useless. No clear info about EXACTLY where the bus stops ARE AND WHEN the busses come. Really basic stuff. Blue route was almost beyond tedious and red route not much better. The audio commentary is excruciating and detracts from what little there is to actually look at. We arrived back at the Central stop on the blue line bus but just as we were stopping, the red line bus drove off 😡. Unbelievable!!! Would you not wait one minute to see what passengers want to transfer from blue to red line? Another unnecessary 30 minute wait. Emblematic of just how awful this experience was. If you have enjoyed hop on hop off busses in other major cities, this will seem even worse for you.

Good tour with good information, not too long, I didn't have to wait long, and good value for money.

Not enough buses. Left waiting 30 mins plus between buses. Which meant we were reluctant to actually hop off and on at certain spots.

Finding the stops was difficult and the app was useless. The actual stops were not very punctual and some were not close to the sights . The drivers were rude and it was difficult to understand or know the stops. Find a better option like the metro!

The hop on hop off in Brussels , Belgium was very frustrating . We didn’t have an English translation while the bus is going around . Try to turn to English but it doesn’t work. They should check it from time to time so visitors know all about the city.

Sometimes the bus turned up, sometimes it didn’t. Sometimes the bus stopped where it was supposed to, sometimes it didnt. If you like bus stops or can afford to wait a long while then maybe ok.

It was nice to see the city and determine what we wanted to see. .

Easy to book (I bought tickets whilst travelling on Eurostar) having downloaded App. Identified the pickup points and boarded Red route first. Having completed that route we then boarded the Blue route (the bus happened to be waiting at the stop). We were able to see many attractions/locations, in the limited time we had available (a day trip).

The bus is NOT like a regular hop on hop off bus, the times are very in frequent in fact we were not will to waste our time waiting for a bus so ended up using a cab.

The audio on the bus required headphones that plugged in however many of them didn’t work. The app was difficult to navigate and didn’t work well either. Frustrating experience

Brussels probably doesn't have much more to offer by bus. The red line is still somewhat informative; the blue line is an unnecessarily long ride to the Atomium. Therefore, explore the city center on foot and head to the Atomium and the surrounding area using normal public transport or your own car.

Very rushed tour and only for part of the city (the line is only one, contrary to what they say that there are two: blue and red). You take the red one). The driver was in a hurry, not even enough time to take decent photographs. You definitely see better and more with public transport (and you also spend less).

A modest tour only in a part of the city of Brussels, very quick and rushed, which at times did not even give you the time to take photographs, with a multilingual audio guide that was quite lacking in explanations.

Poor information about sights, the history of the city and interesting places that the bus passed. In some cases, no information at all. Poor sound quality, difficult to hear what was said by the audio guide. Poor choice of music, e.g. Toots Thielemans and Jacques Brel should be able to be played.

Superb experience on board the Tootbus to discover Brussels! The views are beautiful, but what really made the ride special was our driver, Prunnel. Very professional, smiling and exemplary driving, he knew how to make the atmosphere really pleasant. We feel safe while enjoying the city to the fullest. I highly recommend, and if you come across Prunnel, this is the winning combo!
