Sebastian was an excellent guide, very personable, interesting and extremely knowledgeable. He made the tour very interactive which added to his presentation. We learned all about Brussels history and important sights. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide and this tour for its content.

Francis was our guide. He showed up on time. and took us around the city. He took into account the types of sites that I wanted to see and gave us as much time as we wanted to see individual sites. He was very pleasant and made sure we were comfortable and not tired throughout the entire tour. I would definitely recommend Francis again.
Mr. Andrea was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. I highly recommend him.
We had great first time at Brussels because of our guide Patrick Tang. He curated such a good tour for us. He was above and beyond by meeting us at the Brussels Midi Station. It was such a great help. Definitely recommend doing the small/private group tour with City Unscripted.
5 stars rating. Our tour guide is Patrick Tang, he is friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. I would return to Brussels again and will ask for Patrick. Highly recommend this small group personal tour! We had wonderful experiences. Thank you Patrick for showing us around and being a great host!
Patrick gave us a great walking tour of Brussels. We covered the major points of interest and Patrick explained the history and current perspectives of the sites. We visited many of his recommendations later during our stay.
I went to Brussels on during a solo trip in September. I had a short stop in Brussels for two days. As a huge history and architecture fan I told my guide (Emma) I'd be interested in combining both of the above on my tour, but that I was also interested in the food & drink scene as well. Emma was great, this tour was one of my favorite parts of my trip. Emma and I walked all through the main city and she was knowledgeable and well spoken. I learned so much more than just the straight up facts, she added her own experience and knowledge to the sights and buildings we toured. She also gave me a great list of places I could go on my own, which I incorporated into my trip. Her recommendations took the stress out of solo travel and got to eat and travel like a local for the day. 10/10 experience.
Sebastián tailored the tour to our requests. We were only in Brussels for the day and he was sure to hit the highlights and answered all our questions. He also made some recommendations for us for bar and food.
It was a fine overview of the city, and we were taken to certain areas we otherwise would not have seen. However, when we inquired about venturing to certain areas of the city, our guide attempted to dissuade us by pointing out that there were many “immigrants.” In fact, his apparent distain for immigrants came up twice, which was very disappointing.
This is a private tour we took two hours which was enough for us. A great experience for anyone who wants to learn about the history of Brussels
Andre’, our tour guide was excellent in his knowledge and enthusiastic about the tour. He was energetic and conversant throughout oir6 hour tour.
Very enlightening tour of Brussels and didn’t realize the levels of history. We covered a great deal in a 2 hour tour and captured all of the iconic City sites.
Our guide Patrick was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations for food, drinks and shopping.
Francis was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend this private tour. We learned a lot and saw so much more of the city than we ever would have on our own. If you get a chance to tour with Francis, take it!
Tiago gave us a thorough overview of Brussels touching on history, architecture, and interesting facts. He led us to the best waffles and chocolate shops. Tiago was congenial and professional.
Terrific experience with guide Patrick. Turned out to be just the two of us. We covered lots of ground at a comfortable pace. Exceeded my expectations. Strongly recommend this half day walking tour. Starting early morning is best. The streets are very busy by 11 AM.
We started off on a rooftop and got a 360 degree view of beautiful Brussels, Patrick pointed out where we would be going and took off from there. Patrick was terrific! We saw the “must sees” and also the little jewels of Brussels. We covered alit of history and a lot of ground. Hint: make sure you wear comfortable shoes to navigate the cobblestone streets!
We chose the 4 hour tour. Our guide Patrick was PHENOMENAL! Best tour guide we ever had. He is so passionate about Brussels and he showed us so many wonderful things that the time flew by and before we knew it the 4 hours was passed. We really enjoyed this time and Patrick was a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend this tour!!! Do it early on in your trip so you can explore all the the guides wonderful recommendations.
What a marvelous way to learn about the city of Brussels and so history of Belgium. Guide Patrick took us to the main historical buildings and areas. But best of all were the off the beaten path spots. Super cool! Actually, another few hours would have been ideal. Excellent tour. We'll worth the cost.
We had a great experience with this tour, we had to reschedule, and the company was very flexible . I would highly recommend our tour guide Patrick, he was very flexible very knowledgeable and accommodative about our interest. He Took a great interest in what we wanted to see and learn, and showed some interesting inside of the city, would highly recommend Patrick and the company.
If you want an engaging, deeply informative, and fun way to experience Belgium's capital, booking a walking tour with Fabio is an absolute must! We booked this tour for a party of two (husband and wife). On our two-hour walking tour Fabio proved to be extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, rich culture, and culinary traditions of Brussels. He effortlessly brought the city to life as we strolled through all the top tourist attractions, including the breathtaking Grand-Place and the iconic Manneken Pis. We especially loved exploring the charming neighborhood of Sablon, admiring the grandeur of the Royal Palace and surroundings, and stopping by some wonderful local chocolate shops to sample the goods. Fabio's warm personality and local expertise made this a standout highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!
We so enjoyed our guide and the interesting tour he gave us fun facts and lots of history too Thank you!!
Perfect way to get to know the city. Patrick was a wonderful guide, friendly and knowledgable. We enjoyed our experience..
Ok, so I have a mixed review. Our tour guide presented to our hotel on time, properly dressed, and was polite. We started out by introducing ourselves and reviewing our upcoming tour plans. While that is always a good idea, I was trying not to show my readiness to get the tour moving. It started out well as he we walked to the main market place. His knowledge and deep love for his city of Brussels was evident. Once at the market place that is when he started to quiz us on foreign architecture. At first I found it more of an intellectual stimulant. However, as time went on and we were consistently answering his questions incorrectly to the point where there would be very long pauses. Each wrong answer we gave only seemed to annoy him a little more each time. Those very uncomfortable silences gave us the feeling that we were being unfairly judged. I can only conclude that his unfair assessment was due to our nationality. He recommended multiple times that we should read the newspapers more and become aware of what is happening in our country and around the world as if we were completely ignorant in worldly affairs. He was giving this suggestion to two highly educated people. Myself being a doctor. At one point he asked us for the definition of “surrealism .“ While we without a doubt knew it, he didn’t care much for our definition and kept insisting our was incorrect. This may have been due to a language barrier to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now I’m not sure if he was aware of our religious affiliation. The feeling that is did not came from his remarks that insinuated that the leader of a country in which we love deeply was a contributing factor to the problems in our own nation. I’m not writing this in order to cause him trouble. I writing this in order to make him aware of how his words made us feel and to hopefully prevent further uncomfortable clients in the future.
I had Andrea as my private tour guide of Brussels, and I have to say he was very knowledgeable about the city's history as well as hidden secrets of different sites that he showed me along the way. I felt like I was walking the city with a old friend, he took his time to explain things as well as wanting to get to know me. I highly recommend booking this tour with Andrea you will not regret it.
Majid was an experienced guide. Bonus that he is a doctoral student in architecture. The two hour tour was well paced and provided great coverage of the city. Be prepared for a lot of walking. He showed up on time at my hotel and ended the tour at my hotel. Learned a lot. Enjoyed walking through the park. Stopped at Mary’s, the female started chocolatier shop that serves the king. Transparent about Brussels’ history of colonization. Stopped at great picture spots and offered to take pictures. He had a laminated notebook with historical pictures or renderings to support your anecdotes.
Patrick made our Brussels walking tour one of the highlights of our trip. His knowledge of the city’s history was incredible, but what really stood out was how he wove it all. We covered the Grand Place, the Manneken Pis, the EU quarter, and a handful of hidden courtyards and comic-strip murals we never would’ve found on our own. Patrick has a great sense of pacing too, he knew when to linger over an interesting building and when to keep things moving. He also had great recommendations for waffles and beer afterward, which we happily took him up on. If you’re visiting Brussels, book a tour with Patrick, you won’t regret it.
Enjoyed seeing places I had not seen before and getting some of the history. Personalized to our interests and places we wanted to make sure and see plus more!
Sebastian was wonderful! I was running late and he was gracious and kind, being specific on how too find him. He made the tour fun and very informative, while sharing so many fun hidden facts about various areas and aspects of Brussels. Thanks so very much Sebastian!! Best wishes to you and your family!
Francis was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the city, past and present made the tour very informative and enjoyable. Very pleasant guy!
The tour was nicely catered to us and very informative. Viewing the more off beat areas was really nice.
Interesting and informative tour! This is a must for your first day in Brussels. Wonderful tour guide with great recommendations! It was a perfect way to spend my first morning in Brussels. Thank-you!
What an amazing tour! Francis was attentive, interesting and extremely knowledgeable! He also has a great sense of humour! Just tell him what you would like to see and he will take you there! It was wonderful and thank you so much for making our short time in your beautiful city so memorable!!
Good overall tour. Got to see all the highlights. A lot of walking which my family enjoys. It was an extra hot day on our tour day - wish our guide had suggested a stop for water. We did stop for ice cream but only because I pushed for it.
Patrick was professional he was flexible to meet us where we wanted and came on time. He showed us a huge part of the city and guided us to the best places, add to it his high skills in taking photos!
The tour with Francis was fun. He is very knowledgeable and personal. We enjoyed it very much.
Sebastian was our guide and he is excellent. Very knowledgeable about the city, very friendly, and easy to communicate with.
Booking a private tour was such a great experience. Our guide Francis is a true Brussels local. His knowledge and passion for the city was obvious and contagious. He tailored our tour to meet our preferences and interests like antiques, vintage shopping, art, and architecture. Francis peppered in history, social information, and humor throughout our afternoon. The whole experience was such a delight.
We had a great morning with Sebastian covering lots of territory in Brussels. He gave us a lot of great information about all the sites as well as just enough history. It was a truly enjoyable 3 hours and I would highly recommend this as a way to get oriented to the city. It makes exploring places later much easier and gives you a great idea of how to get around to where you want to return.
We had the most wonderful afternoon exploring the ins and outs of Brussels with Patrick. He is so friendly and knowledgeable, we talked non-stop finding so many cultural and unique commonalities. He knows Brussels intimately, including history and stories about all the major sites, while providing insights about intriguing off the beaten path locales, restaurants, shops and nightlife. We explored cathedrals, museums, parks, side streets and chocolate shops, while joining a street party celebrating the Mustache Men and Mannequin Pis. It was a delightful experience and highlight of our Brussels experience.
We took this two hour walking tour on April 26, 2026 with our tour guide Sebastian. He sent us a text the morning of the tour confirming that he would meet us at out hotel and describing his appearance so he was easy to identify. Sebastian was an excellent tour guide and showed us many locally important sites within Central Brussels and offered suggestions of where to shop and eat. He described the history and significance of each site often including some local folk lore. I highly recommend this tour with Sabastian.
We had a great morning with Francis. We told him my husband mostly wanted to see the EU Parliament area in Brussels and he showed us all of it. It was informative and we appreciated ghat he was very considerate of our slower pace as a couple of 80 year olds.
Our host, Andrea, was very knowledgeable in many areas to include not just the sites but their architecture, history of the area and culture. This was our first time in Brussels and after over 3 hours of a walking tour with Andrea, we feel we have a great overview of Brussels. Andrea was very pleasant and shared some fun secrets along the way that most people wouldn't know. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
You cannot imagine how much of Brussels you can see in 3 hours! Patrick was a fantastic guide and he moved fast. We saw all the highlights and some hidden spots that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Patrick was friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate. He also steered us away from expensive tourist spots and instead showed us better options for food, chocolates, etc. We had a great time and we’d highly recommend Patrick and this tour.
It’s a great way to orient oneself to the city and discover some spots that one might otherwise pass by. Nice bit of walking exercise too. Having the private guide with little tips and commentary, along with a good knowledge of history really enhanced the experience.
Patrick was an excellent tour guide. He contacted us prior to our visit and tailored the tour to our needs. I highly recommend his tours.
This is how a walking tour should be. With a very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable guide. My guide was Fabio Bego. He was great! He took me to a few hidden gems as well that most tourists may never see. It was a really good tour.
Sebastian was a great tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes the tour what you want to see. My family loved the experience and would highly recommend Sebastian and the walking tour to anyone in Brussels.
Andrea was a superb guide. He had encyclopedic knowledge about the landmarks and history of Brussels which made the tour ever more interesting and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him.
A private 4 hour tour with Fabio was money well spent. Informative and tailored to exactly what we were interested in. His knowledge of the history and city ran deep.
