We had a wonderful time and saw all of the important sites. It was a beautiful day and we walked all over
Well paced walk, deep discussion of sites and history Loved getting outside the city center (tourist zone) to see the historic city walls and understand the history of this iconic city Four hours of walking was too much for my wife so the guide modified the tour to 3.5 hours; we appreciated the flexibility
We had a great 4-hour walking tour of Brussels and a good recap of Belgium’s history from Asefeh. Brussels is a beautiful city and has so many things to offer if you have some basic knowledge. Asefeh was delightful and she was a pleasure to spend time with. We even saw the king as he was leaving the palace. Not many tour guides can pull that off! ;-) And we definitely got our steps in for the day.
Our experience with Michael was fantastic! We were back in Brussels for the second time and wanted to explore some new places that were off the beaten path. We decided to book a tour with Michael and it turned out to be a great decision! The best part was that we got to fill out a questionnaire and request that our guide showed us the best non-touristy spots in the city. Michael took us to some cool neighborhoods like Sablon and Les Marolles that had a boho and laid-back vibe. We even got to enjoy some local shopping and mingled with locals on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Michael was an excellent guide, and he surprised us with a visit to his favorite chocolate shop, which had the most amazing chocolate that was
Michael walked us all over Brussels, giving us a history lesson along the way. Not only did we enjoy his commentary, he showed us all the local eateries with the best food.
Tiago was a wonderful host - we had fun walking all over the city talking about the history of the monarchs here, the many times Belgium has defended itself from invasion and the history of this beautiful city, My guide was accommodating to my wishes as we walked the city - stopping for local street food, having a beer in the city's oldest pub and pointing out the best places for dinner. As a solo traveler, having a guide made me comfortable in the city to not get lost and I learned so much more than I would have through my own research and sightseeing. Tiago made it feel instantly like I had a friend in town.
We had a great time walking the city with our knowledgeable local guide Michael, who took time to design a custom itinerary after a brief discussion online. We saw not only a few popular spots but also local neighborhoods that highlighted the diverse culture of this beautiful city. Highly recommended!
My private tour with Michael was quite good. He’s very thoughtful of the wants of his clients and provides a custom tour that includes both touristy and local highlights. His knowledge of great food and drink spots is also a plus. Highly recommended!
Had a great tour with tour guide Michael Martin. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of Brussels. He took care to provide a tour designed specifically to involve our personal interests. Enjoyed a delightful conversation with him for a great half day.
We had a great half-day tour with our guide, Ricardo Mota. We did not want to see typical tourist areas, and instead hopped on local transit and explored a couple of neighborhoods we would not have seen otherwise. Ricardo was great at providing some history around the areas we visited, including Le Cambre Abbey in Ixelles. Also discovered the Laurent Gerbaud chocolate shop. Wow. This was a nice was to spend half a day and learn more about the city.
We did our family walking tour, with adolescents kids. Our guide was nice and funny but was not very informative concerning Brussels monuments or history.
Mr. Andrea Mogni is a wonderful guide! I booked at the last minute (the night before) but I feel like my husband and I were so lucky to have Andrea as our guide. He is Italian but has lived in Brussels for decades working in the EU as an economist. He has a wealth of knowledge that is unbelievable- history, language, economics, politics, art to name a few. We got to see all the major sites in a very organized way. As other reviewers have noted, he took us into some of the historic hotels where we saw things not often seen by tourists that were very interesting. We have traveled around the world and I would say that Andra is one of the best guides we have ever had. I highly recommend Andrea!
Mr Andrea Mogni is a knowledgeable guide. He showed us around the important monuments of Brussels, as well as some additional interesting places with a history like hotels and theatres. He talked about various aspects including history, architecture, economy etc. It was an interesting and enjoyable tour.

We were really looking forward to this tour and experiencing this new city with a local. Instead we got Yana, who had been living in the city for a few years, but didn't seem to have fully immersed herself in its culture just yet. I had provided some direction on the top tourist sites I would like to see, but then also said we'd like to see non-tourist areas/sites. Yana was unprepared and didn't have an agenda to follow. She got lost trying to find the Pis statues, and almost seemed to think it was ridiculous these were things we'd want to see. She gave no context or history to anything Grand Place, the guilds, Sablon, etc. as we walked, opting instead for awkward silences or personal anecdotes. The last hour really dragged on, as she toured us around a neighborhood to show us houses... without any explanation. We ended our tour 40 minutes from our hotel which she mentioned was conveniently located to her own flat. The only saving grace is that we ended near Maison Antoine, which she fortunately pointed out as an iconic place for frites but almost as an afterthought.

It is really worth it to see the city with a local guide. We saw things that normally we would not have ever seen. Our guide, Andrea, planned a very original, more-than-just-tourist kind of day for us and we really appreciated it. What a difference it makes! It is well worth the money and SO MUCh better than your average bus tour or group tour. We will use this service again and again.
