So worth the money, had an hour workshop where I got to make my own advent calendar, as well as chocolate lollipops and 2 chocolate slabs The museum was interesting and interactive and had a couple of tasting sections, as well as a tutorial section which was so interesting too. The lady that run my workshop, Aed (I believe) was incredible and so happy, knowledgeable and attentive.

Wonderful workshop. Ellen the chocolatier was great. There was a brief explanation which covered everything we needed to know, very well organised. Then we could make as much chocolate as we wanted. It was definitely worth it and the highlight of our visit to Brussels.
The class was really fun, but not really worth it. The "Guide" interacted with you for about 5 minutes. He showed you what to do, but didn't help you with anything. He seemed to have disappeared while you are making your treats, but he was constantly filling the chocolate pipe bags. He was not very interactive. I think for small kids it is a great treat to play with Chocolate, but for Adults, you can do the same thing at home and have as much time as you want with it.
It was a really fun and tasty experience. I like to being in kitchen workshops all the time and I really recommend here and I visited to museum also.
What a great workshop this was. Mario was fab he explained everything and made the whole experience so seamless! I would highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Brussels! You can make as many pieces of chocolate as you like within the time frame and we got to keep our apron! More than enough value for money.
Great fun, my daughter and I really enjoyed it. Our chocolatier was very friendly and helpful. The museum was super interesting. Highly recommended!!!
Top tier activity for all the chocolate lovers. Kids had so much fun and the staff especially Dua, took extra special care of us. Can’t wait till we’re back in Brussels to visit again.
it was the best experience ever i loved every single bit of it. the admission fee is amazing for the workshop, they let us do however number of chocolate without limits. we stayed there for an hour then left for the museum. the atmosphere was good our chocolatier dua was amazing and so sweet. the place wasn’t so crowded nor empty just perfect it’s best for families and friends amazing experience defo not the last
This was such a good experience, I feel like the amount of chocolate you make is worth the price you pay.
Highly recommend the chocolate workshop. Very well organised with a demonstration to start, lovely cool marble counters to work on, plenty of chocolate in all 3 flavours to work with. It was a lovely addition when a member of staff came in to take everyone’s pictures with their phones, so they could have a memento. Very well organised from start to finish; cubby holes for bags, sinks for hand washing, aprons and toppings you get to keep. Use of stencils to make shapes and a very nice paper bag to take it all home in. I have already tried one of the chocolates and it is tasty! The most fun thing I did in Brussels - don’t miss it. Very central location as well. The chocolate museum afterwards was extremely comprehensive, so much bigger than expected, you can learn so much!
A fun event for all ages. Staff was very helpful. You even get to keep the apron
Tristan led the chocolate workshop and was great! It was fun creating some different gifts. The tour was ok, one opportunity to taste chocolate. Was cool to see a chocolatière at work then try his creations! There are some interesting artefacts on display.
My husband and I had a great time making chocolate under Louise’s careful supervision. She was brilliant and made the workshop so much fun. It’s definitely value for money. You get to make chocolate first. You make lots so it’s a good idea to take a few sandwich bags. Then you get to keep the apron. Afterwards you do a self guided tour of the chocolate museum. It was very well organised, clean and great fun! 10/10
Loved it. Very relaxing, fun. The museum is great. This is a must-do Brussels excursion.
Wonderful, instructif and delicious demonstration of the Belgain knowledge of the art of chocolat. A must!
the museum is very interesting and informative and the chocolate class was fun and so much chocolate! it was very interesting and delicious - thank goodness I was able to bring all the chocolates home in one piece
Quick and easy. Really liked the molds and pictures.
It was surprisingly better than we expected. I would highly recommend it.
We made chocolates under the excellent guidance of Louise who showed boundless energy and enthusiasm for her craft. She offered encouragement to me despite my obvious limitations. Ended up with a huge bag of my misshapen chocolates to take home and give as unwanted gifts to my family, or more than likely for me to eat. The museum is very interesting and uses a self guided system where you listen to your individual recording device. There's too many facts to remember but what I do remember is fascinating. The museum ends with a demonstration of praline making and tasting. You can also buy more chocolate from the gift shop that looks infinitely better than the inferior product you produce yourself.
Excellent experience, Mario was super funny and explained very well.
I really enjoyed the chocolate workshop at Choco-Story Brussels! It was a fun and hands-on experience and got to make as many chocolates as we wanted. Everything was well organized, the staff were friendly, and the place smelled amazing. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Brussels!
Great experience at the Choco Story Workshop. The chocolatier was a very kind man who spoke French and English. It was fun and you have the freedom to make basically whatever you want. Tip: there really is no limit on how many chocolate bars/pieces you can make, so I would suggest getting the hang of the making/drying process and then making as many chocolate bars as possible in the 50 minutes of creating time. The last 10 minutes are reserved for packing up all your fully dried chocolate creations. You have two good sized plastic bags to put everything in and a large paper bag to put everything in, including left over toppings and your apron you get to keep! The tour self guided audio tour of the museum after is a little slow and long, but overall an awesome experience!
Brilliant experience - great chocolate, lovely atmosphere, and people with as much integrity as the chocolate. Love to see staff who proudly wear their pins to stand against genocide. A truly tasteful place in every sense
We walked by the Choco Story Museum and went in on a whim to see if there was room in their chocolate confections workshop. We lucked out and snagged a couple of slots the next day. When we returned, we were greeted by Eline, our chocolatier, who proceeded to give us brief and concise instructions regarding how to get started and what to do to make chocolate bars, pops and shaped chocolate candy out of the provided dark, milk and white chocolate in pastry bags and various decorations to adorn our creations, we had about 45 minutes to create our candy and Eline was always available to give us a helping hand and guidance if needed. There were English and French speaking participants, and I'm sure Eline would have been able to accommodate other languages as well. When we were done, we got to keep our creations as well as the provided apron as souvenirs. We both had a terrific time - and there were children at the workshop who had an equally good time. We highly recommend this as an activity for adults of all ages as well as children - who doesn't like chocolate, especially high quality Belgium chocolate? And it's more special when you make the chocolate candy for family and friends and tell them how you made it too!
Decided the choco story workshop in Brussels would be a new couple's experience for making Belgian chocolate and we were right! Our chocolatier was Eline who was absolutely fantastic! At her craft! We made chocolate pops as well as" designer" chocolate delights using dark milk and white chocolate as well as candy decorations that you get to keep, including eating any mistakes. It was so much fun! In our group. there was a family with children between the ages of 8 and 12 who enjoyed it equally. We highly recommend this experience for adults and families alike.
Absolutely shocked to walk into a tourist attraction and have the girl at the front desk wearing a sign that promotes terrorism.
Incredibly dissapointed . Went with friends . I booked four tickets but booked one accidentally for the bruge version of museum . I asked them if id be able to just use the bruge ticket for Brussels and they said no and id to buy another ticket
The Genius of the Comeraghs has arrived in Belgium, and what better activity to do here than making some CHOCCY?! The chocolate making class made me think I was in popular Disney+ programme THE BEAR, only I did not let the stresses of kitchen work get to me. I did so well on making the chocolate cat and dog that they even let me take home the apron (they let everyone do this but only because I did so well). After this I did the tour which took me through the history of chocolate through the ages. This one made me think I was Indiana Jones and instead of being accompanied by a small Chinese boy I was accompanied by a small poo (see image 2) talking to me on the phone. In the gift shop, a man walked past me who appeared to be made entirely out of chocolate. I stared for a while but I was too afraid to say anything. Overall excellent experience. I love chocolate. And the poo of course.
"Delighted with the Choco Story museum and chocolate making workshop in Brussels! The museum's demonstration by our amazing host, Louise, was interactive, rewarding, and taught us the art of crafting Belgian pralines. Louise's expertise, kindness, and sense of humor made the experience truly unforgettable. In the workshop, she was patient, professional, and generous with her tips. We had a blast creating our own chocolates and enjoyed every moment of our time with her. We only stopped in Brussels for this experience, and Louise made it a memorable one in the best possible way. Highly recommend for chocolate lovers of all ages!"
We enjoyed this museum. It was interesting to see the history of cacao and chocolate. They focus on the Belgian chocolate process which is good to learn. We liked the hands on activities and games - good to keep the kids interested. There were a few opportunities to sample chocolate and a demo to watch. The demo chef was funny and kept the crowd engaged. We did the chocolate making class and really enjoyed it. Our chef Aude was super helpful and friendly - she explained how to make the chocolates and gave good advice on how to achieve our design. The class is 1 hr long and after her explanation we were able to make lots of chocolates and choose our own toppings. It was nice to see others designs and how creative they are. You do get to take the chocolates you make home with you. So keep transporting them in mind.
This was so much fun ! We had a brief demonstration then left to design our own chocolate using white milk and dark chocolate, plenty to go around and could keep going until it ran out ! Can’t say I didn’t like my fingers a few times ! Got an apron and everything we made to take home so worth every penny
The chocolate making was enjoyable, would’ve been better if there were games to play with prizes to be won and better music. The museum aspect was very boring and chaotic. I would recommend just doing the chocolate making class, I wouldn’t go back as my overall experience was below average.
We were the only two people in the chocolate workshop. Mario was an amazing host, explained everything and made it making chocolate so easy!
My friend and I bought our tickets online the day before. This was great as it meant that we didn’t have to queue upon arrival. We were booked in for the chocolate workshop at 10:30am, Mario was brilliant. The session is great for all ages and it’s a nice souvenir to take home with you! There’s the added bonus that the chocolate tastes delicious! The museum was fantastic! Really informative and interactive. I loved the self guided tour aspect where you scanned each number to find out more about the display in that particular area. There was also the opportunity to try different Belgian chocolate, as well as watch a live chocolate praline demonstration. I’d highly recommend paying Choco-Story Brussels a visit when you’re in the city!
This workshop was amazing!! My daughter had a great time making chocolate and meeting new people. We took home a ton of chocolate! She’s literally in chocolate heaven! 10/10
In the workshop, the staff were super enthusiastic and helpful. We got to make as much as we liked. The museum tour and demonstration after workshop was really informative and entertaining. We will definitely visit again.
First of all, always pre-book the tickets because the lines there are quite long if you don't book it. Also I highly recommend to go to the workshop because we got to make lots of different styled chocolate using the pre-made chocolate. The museum is very fun for kids and nice touch for adults.
I enjoyed the chocolate workshop as the instructor was kind and guided us through what we needed to do. Got to make 4 chocolate bars and then some more chocolate creations on a sheet! Got a good amount of time to do it too The museum part was interesting too and learnt lots about the history of chocolate.
This was a trip for my 10 year olds birthday and she loved it! The workshop was great and you get to keep whatever you make. The museum is very interesting and has interactive features to keep kids engaged, as well! We all really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend it!
Excellent way to spend two hours in Brussels. Thoroughly enjoyed the making of chocolate bars and chocolate lollypops
Workshop with Louise (big shoutout) was great fun making our chocolate designs. Self guided tour was super informative (although relatively long).
You get to keep all the chocolate you make, and it was fun to learn how. The museum is full of artefacts and informative but would probably be pretty boring for kids.
Excellent experience and great fun for families. We got to take home all the chocolates that we made! Not to be missed when visiting Brussels. Highly recommend.
Amazing value for money, €30 per person and an hour to make as much chocolate as you can! Compared to the prices of the pre-made chocolate sold in the shop, it’s extremely easy to get your money’s worth. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the session was fun.
Excellent experience. The highlight of our trip to Brussels. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our experience even better. The experience is very good value for money. You get to make unlimited chocolate for an hour and then take it all home with you. 10/10 would recommend.
Very fun experience! You get to make as much chocolate as you want in about an hour. There wasn’t too much instruction and we got to be very creative. You definitely get your moneys worth of chocolate.
This was a disappointment. None of the handsets worked for the children, meaning a pretty dull, expensive and un-interactive hour. Would not recommend!
Small group. Leader was very nice and showed us some tricks of the trade. You get plenty of chocolate! The museum was also interesting and informative. Good value for price.
Wasn't expecting much but the session was really fun. My friend and I had a great time making and decorating chocolates. I do wish there were a few more topping choices but for the price we paid it was really good. Would definitely go again.
The museum is very well structured, a proper journey of the chocolate story. The workshop is a fantastic experience!!! Elyen was very professional and friendly, makes people comfortable to enjoy it, thank you!!
