Fraiser was the best!!! Cheers, beers, and knowledge!!! He knew his stuff!!! From learning about The Monks, the city, and the views. So personable and made it seem as if we knew eachother for quite sometime!!! I highly recommend this tour. Do your self a favor and book it.

Itinerary
We begin at Scotts Bar, a place that opened in 2012 with a clear ambition: to bring traditional Belgian beer culture together with a thoroughly modern outlook. The result is one of the most exciting beer lists in the city, running all the way from the most authentic abbey styles to groundbreaking craft brews from local makers. If you'd like something to line the stomach, they serve food too — the pizzas are not to be missed. Here your guide introduces you to a world-famous Trappist ale, and tells the story behind it — one of war, charity, service and, of course, of brewing some of the finest beers on earth. You'll learn how the monks came to brew, why their beers are held in such high regard, and what still sets a true Trappist apart today. It's the perfect first stop: a glass in hand, a great story to go with it, and a taste of just how deep Belgium's brewing traditions run.
A short walk brings us to the Toone Theatre, tucked away down one of the old city's narrow lanes. This UNESCO-protected building is treasured for its cultural importance — it keeps alive the Brussels folklore tradition of marionette theatre — and its bar is among the oldest and most characterful in the entire city. Settling in here, you'll enjoy a sample selection of three beers, chosen expertly by your guide to show the range and depth of Belgian brewing. Between tastings, your guide shares more of the stories behind the glass: how these beers are made, what makes Belgian beer so distinctive, and the question every visitor asks sooner or later — why is it all so strong? Atmospheric, historic and steeped in local character, Toone is exactly the kind of place you'd never find on your own — and the ideal setting to deepen your appreciation of the craft.
We finish at the legendary Delirium Café — holder of the Guinness World Record for the largest selection of beers on the planet. This is the moment to put everything you've learned to use: having discovered what you enjoy over the course of the tour, you're set loose on the widest choice of beers anywhere in the world. The Delirium village is a warren of seven bars, each with its own drinks theme, so there's something to suit every taste — and it stays open into the early hours. Your guide can point you toward styles you might love before saying their goodbyes. This final stop is an optional end to the night, there to enjoy at your own pace should you wish to keep exploring.

Had a great time! Our guide was very funny and gave a lot of information. Loved the second bar, a very old puppet theater, though the wash closet / restrooms need a good cleaning and air freshener!! The first bar, Scott’s Bar, was a good place to meet, however it was not as fun upstairs (probably had nice restrooms though). Would have loved to continue the tour onto 1-2 more venues. I took a beer tour in Munich once and liked that we walked around a bit more than this one. Still would recommend!
Great beer, fun atmosphere , Fraser our guide was so interesting!
Great night Excellent beers and Belgium history Our guide Adeline was fantastic Meet great people !!!
Tom was a great guide. He is a local and very knowledgeable about the beers. We tried multiple varieties which he explained well and took us to off the grid places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend!
Excellent Introduction to Belgian Beer. Our guide Fraser was knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We tried 4 very different beers at two lovely bars. An excellent tour.
Tour guide was funny and also taught us a lot about beer in Belgium and beer making in general. would recommend
Just came back from the Belgium Beer tasting tour on August 22 and thought I’d write before I forgot the specifics. Well worth the cost for the tour as Tom gives an excellent history and funny narrative of the history of Belgium beer. I’ve been on a lot of walking tours and this is one of the better ones. Highly recommend this tour
Amazing experience, incredibly informative and the beer and company were great. Tom was an amazing guide and made the whole experience really entertaining. 10/10, I would do it again.
Super informative, a great introduction to the history, styles, and the culture of beer in Belgium. Plus a ton of fun.
We joined Adelin’s beer tasting tour in Brussels in August 2025, and it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip. The selection of beers was outstanding, with something for every taste, but the gueuze was a particular highlight for me and remains one of my favourite beers I’ve ever tried. What made the evening special wasn’t just the beer itself, but the way Adelin brought brewing culture and history to life through his storytelling. Every stop came with fascinating anecdotes, local insights, and historical context that made the city feel richer and more memorable. Adelin has a real gift for hosting. He took the time to learn everyone’s names, remembered where people were from, and created an atmosphere where conversations flowed naturally. By the end of the evening, what started as a group of strangers felt more like a group of friends. We’ve done food and drink tours in several cities, and this was easily among the very best. Great beer, great stories, great company, and one of the most enjoyable nights of our holiday. If you’re visiting Brussels and want an authentic, fun, and social experience, I can’t recommend Adelin highly enough.
The beer tour was more than just an introduction to Belgian beer—it was a journey through history, tradition, and craftsmanship. Fraser guided us with knowledge and genuine enthusiasm, helping us appreciate not only the beers themselves but also the stories behind them. What struck me most was the legacy of the Trappist monasteries. In a world that changes so rapidly, there is something remarkable about traditions that have endured for centuries. I left with a deeper appreciation for Belgian beer.
A great experience for beer lovers or anyone curious to know more about the Belgian beer culture and history. Fraser, the tour guide, was knowledgable and passionate about the topic. He also shared recommendations on beers, local brasserie, seafood restaurants, etc. Highly recommended tour!
It was a fantastic evening. Our guide Fraser created a great environment for the participants to get to know each other. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a very relatable manner. Highly recommended!
Tom was fantastic, we had a great time! He was a great story teller and I actually learned a lot about Belgian beer
Tom was an encyclopedia of Belgian beer and told us about it so well. We had all the varieties and got a real sense of the region through beer!
Great overview and history of beer in Belgium, got to try some excellent beers. Tom was so knowledgeable and was helpful at recommending other things to do/ places to see in Brussels. Must do!
What an amazing introduction to the world of Belgian beer. Book this you will not be disappointed. Tom was a very knowledgeable and friendly host who took us down history to understand and appreciate some of the finest beer in the world. We took this experience on our first day which was perfect for the rest of our trip so we could make informed choices as continued to sample Belgiums finest! Thank you Tom!!
Tom was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining about the different types of Belgian beers.
This was a great experience! Our host knows what he is talking about and has a great sense of humour. All of the participants were lovely and I think everyone enjoyed themselves even those that didn't drink beer. The beers themselves were so very different and good that it made a great time.
The beer tour was exceptionally well presented and gave an in-depth detailing of the evolution of Belgian beer. Tom was an excellent host and was unafraid of going off script to answer random questions. Paired with his knowledge of the area and beer in general, it felt more like visiting with friends than being a rigid tour.
This experience was amazing and my husband and I want to thank Tom for a very entertaining evening! He was knowledgeable about the beer and history of Brussels. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommend!
This experience was a lot of fun. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Our group was lively and engaging which really contributed to the enjoyment. Only negative was our guide spoke very softly and at times it was difficult to hear her above the background noise.
Had Tom as our beer guide in Brussels and was really impressed. He knows his stuff, is great company, and takes you exactly where you need to go.
Absolutely loved the beer tour. Tom was an engaging guide to the Belgian beer scene, always had a tidbit of beer knowledge to share and wicked sense of humour too! Now know I my tripel from my doubel. Beers sampled covered the spectrum of brew styles, from whites to lambics. Would. You'll learn about the history of some beers on the tours. Monks far from being mundane, are a more enterprising bunch that I could have imagined. Made me feel more confident ordering beers from a menu. Tom was also happy to answer any questions, beer or otherwise to facilitate a wonderful time in Brussels.
I was not expecting a beer tour to be this amazing, so thanks Tom to make it incredible! Beers were perfect, super tasty. Tom is very fun and a true expert, we learnt a lot of nice tips about beers and history while always laughing our a** off. Truly recommended!
Beer was amazing, we got to try a lot of types of beer, all of them were good and interesting to taste. Tom was an amazing guide, super fun to be around to. Thank you 🩷
I would say to anyone what a amazing tour fun aswell as tasting some beers we went to two pubs fab all try it
Tom is absolutely the best! By the end, I was tipsy, more knowledgeable on the history of beer, and ready to try more. I highly recommend just going with the flow and listening to what he says. Very funny, great opportunity to meet new people, and overall wish I could do it again!
Really enjoyable beer tasting tour from start to finish. Tom was a great guide – entertaining, knowledgeable and kept the whole group engaged without it ever feeling forced. There was a good amount of drinks included, and the pace felt just right. The length of time was perfect too, and we didn’t have to walk too far between stops which made it really easy and relaxed. Overall, a really good experience and I’d definitely recommend it.
Excellent tour. Tom was a fun and knowledgeable host who engaged with the group well and kept things moving along at a good pace. Learned a lot about the history of Belgian beer, the brewing process, how best to pour it and why the glasses are shaped as they are. All supported with the excellent sample beers. Both the bars were great and there were reserved places in both for the group to sit. Our group was 8 which was a good size and all very friendly people.
I joined this tour as a non–beer lover, and it was amazing to discover the wide range of different flavors, as well as the history behind the brewing process and the culture that surrounds it. Shout-out to our guide, Tom, who did an incredible job making the experience interesting, engaging, and fun! He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. Highly recommend it!
Tom led a fantastic tour with very different and typical Belgian beer. He explained the history behind each that we drank, when Belgians typically drink it, and how they are made. It was super cool and all the beers were very interesting. My wife doesn't like beer but even she was able to really enjoy the history and the tastings! Many beers did not taste like typical beer so it was interesting even if you don't like beer. We spent a little over 2.5 hours in total with a group of about 20 people. All nice and fun to be around for the light atmosphere of the tour. Tom stuck around at the end and shared some more about beers and suggested some more interesting ones to try. Take this tour!
Great overview of Belgian beer in Brussels. The tour guide, Tom, had an incredible knowledge of Belgian beers and the brewing history of the region.
This was great, Tom was our guide and his knowledge was awesome as well as his passion for beer. It was a fun way to learn about beer for a couple hours.
The tour is very good. Tom, the guide, is great. It’s enjoyable . We tasted different types of beer.
I highly recommend this experience. I was pleasantly surprised by how educational it was. Our guide, Tom, was funny and up beat. Great beers and generally a good time.
Sampling local beer with locals in cute local bars was the highlight of this tour. Our tour guide was not only very knowledgable but extremely kind. Tom not only explained the history of Belgium beer but explained the science to a group of Texas nerds.
Perfect thing to do while in Brussels. Our tour guide was informative and welcoming. She taught us all about the beer culture of Belgium.
We had a very great experience. Fraser our tour guide was very friendly, witty and knowledgeable. We also managed to connect with lots of other cool individuals as a part of this. We very much enjoyed :)
I had an amazing time on this beer tour. The info provided was fascinating but not overly informative. My guide did a great job tailioring the tastings and the tour to the preferences and experience of the group (5 of us in all). He even stayed late after the tour to have another beer with those who wished to stay, and gave recommendations for where to eat in the area. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Belgian beers!
A GREAT experience with Tom - a local from Brussels. Vast wealth of knowledge regarding the beers of Belgium - their history and about brewing in Belgium in general. Above all a really FUN evening - very relaxed and easy going. The beers were fantastic. HIGHLY recommended 5/5
We had the BEST time on our tour with Tom! My husband and I are Americans with less superior beer :) and not a ton of prior knowledge- so this was a particularly exciting experience for us. Tom was extremely funny, entertaining and descriptive. Who knew Monks could be interesting? We loved all the history of the country, the brewing, and the glassware. The time absolutely flew listening to Tom and we wished we could come back the next day for another round. He is great at what he does! All the beers were excellent, and the bars charming. Such a great way to meet likeminded people and get to know the city and what they do best! Thanks again.
We had a wonderful time with our guide Fraser. He really provided interesting information with an entertaining way. We loved the atmosphere of the selected bar spots. Perfect locations for a short excursion of the Brussel City Night Live.
This was a great and fun tour. Our guide Fraser made the tour super relaxed and was very easygoing answering all the different questions our group had. We tasted great beers and learned a lot of what goes into making Belgian beer some of the best in the world.
We had a really good tour with our host Adelin. He was very knowledagble, and clearly passionate about the the topic. As well as tasting 4 very different beer styles in 2 different venues, we got a lot of information on the history and culture of beer in Belgium, which I found very interesting. I also thought Adelin was very funny, althouigh I guess he might be an acquired taste for some.
Great and informative tour of belgian beers. Our Guide Tom was great and really funny! He definitely knew his stuff. The beers were also really good 🤤
Great tour, our guide was very clear and informative. She chose really good quality beers for us to taste. She also made sure to answer all of our questions and even included very nice tips to go about the city.
Our tour guide Tom was outstanding! Perfect mix of humor and knowledge for our group. We sampled 4 styles at two different bars. We had a great time and met some new international friends.
