We had a wonderful day. There was horrendous traffic on the way to Amsterdam and we arrived late but Julian managed to work his magic and make everything happen so we could do the canal tour (a must when in Amsterdam) and then still make it to the Van Gogh Museum for our time slot (booked separately for the free time we had that day). Thank you Julian. Loved walking around Amsterdam.

Itinerary
We will meet the group at Carrefour de l'Europe at 8:00AM. From there, we will depart for our destination, Amsterdam, on a bus trip that will take about 3 hours.
Once we arrive in Amsterdam, we will have a short stop to regain our strength and start our boat trip with a tour guide who will show us the main points of the city: the Jordaan district, the 9 Streets or the Amsterdam Central Station. During the boat trip, we will also enjoy the wonderful architecture that the city has to offer. After this boat tour, you will have 4 hours free time to visit the city on your own.
After free time, at 5:00PM, the bus will depart back to Brussels after an exciting day in Amsterdam.

Reviews
The tour was very nice Our tour guide Julian was very nice The bus driver Carlos was remarkable The tour guide was professional and informative Amsterdam was excellent
The experience was good, but the bus did not have a restroom and for many hours of driving they should definitely have a toilet. Other than that it’s good
The travel time took more than 1/2 of the entire trip. It was ok for my family since we could see one more place in a short stay in Brussels. All things went smoothly and the tour guy was good.
We had booked a tour to Amsterdam in English but for some reasons we got put on the same bus as the Spanish speaking group. Small English group. She did communicate in both languages but it became more and more long explanation sessions in Spanish and pretty short in English. Even at times, she would inform us in English about something we had gone by or did not even translate to English after the explanation in Spanish. We felt awkward and it dampened our trip. I feel Viator tour should give me half my money back.
Our quick trip to Amsterdam was short but incredibly well organized, thanks to Antonio and Ricardo. Antonio kept everything running smoothly with clear explanations, great timing, and a friendly attitude that made the day feel effortless. Ricardo handled the long bus ride with professionalism and skill — the drive was comfortable, safe, and absolutely worth it once we arrived. Even with limited time, the experience felt complete and enjoyable. Both Antonio and Ricardo delivered excellent service, and I’d happily travel with them again.
The only reason I gave this even 2 stars was for the transportation to get there. Our meeting point leaves you guessing which group to get with as they do not advertise who they are, they just start shouting in different languages. This tour was to be in English, it was broken English, so bad we could not get the full information. The Guide spoke mostly in Spanish, as I can understand Spanish, my husband does not. She gave more information in Spanish then English, So I was translating to my husband, and missing out information because I had to translate. The boat ride was ONLY given in Spanish, we had to plug into the boat to hear things in English, again missing information as this Guide ONLY spoke Spanish. The guide told us a direction to go, which was completely opposite of where everything was. So we had 3 hours to explore but waisted a whole hour getting lost and trying to find our way back to where we got off the boat. Amsterdam was absolutely beautiful, BUT, if you want to see it, take a train and do it on your own. I would NOT recommend this guide. At Least not from them.
It was a wonderful experience to see the place. It was incredible feeling that this was just only a bucket list but it was now fulfilled. My family and I were so happy. Antonio is also a very knowledgeable with the place and he’s a nice guy.
Despite some minor issues with the local guide in Amsterdam, the overall experience was fantastic and well organized. Our guide from Brussels was assertive, understanding and extremely helpful, making every effort to ensure that delays did not affect us. She was always available to answer questions and provide recommendations.
Do not recommend. Poorly planned. Would have been better to just book train tickets and go on your own.
Buses didn’t have bathrooms but they do stop at a gas station half way for a bathroom stop both going to and returning. Fabulous trip!
The time in the schedule for exploring on your own was perfect. The guide was great and very knowledgeable.
The host was very knowledgeable and articulate. Note that there is a 2+ hour (with bathroom stops) coach ride to and from Amsterdam which can seem long. The boat ride in Amsterdam was great and we had sufficient free time to roam afterwards. For first-timers to Amsterdam, this is a must-do.
Antonio is very energetic and entertaining The boat ride was highlight of trip, it is the best way to see Amsterdam.
It was a good place to visit on a one day tour. The guide provided good background information. The place to meet to return to the hotel was a bit out of the way.
We really enjoyed this trip. The bus trip was long (as expected) but very good thanks to Victor and Antonio. We enjoyed the canal cruise. The amount of free time was good, wish I had a more current map, some sidewalks were under construction and hard to navigate. Antonio had some good recommendations for sights and eats. A long day but totally worth it!
Our tour guide, Pablo, was incredible! Super nice guy, very charismatic, and VERY knowledgeable! He shared a document of recommended sight-seeing with the group. I would 100000% go on another tour with Pablo!
Canal cruise was in hot covered boat. Could barely see the sights, kind of sped through. Then we just were set free. Too short to really see anything.
Great day trip from Brussels, able to see the top spots of Amsterdam while also learning about the history
Great tour need more time my recommendation start the trip more early so we have more time in the city
The tour guide Julian was amazing, very knowledgeable. Bus driver was very good. We learned a lot on the boat cruise. My only complaint would be, is the distance from the drop off point to the boat. I would tell others that I know if they were looking for a tour to book this. Thank you.
A beautiful day in Amsterdam. A bus tour took us in to the heart of the city where we did a canal ride first. A different perspective to see the buildings from the water. Our guide Julian was very knowledgeable and kept us informed about the history of the city. We then had approximately 4 hours free time to explore on our own
We had Jaris for our tour and he was great! Yes, this is a bilingual tour, but Jaris did an excellent job balancing the two languages. There was traffic, so we were delayed getting to Amsterdam, which made us miss the walking portion of the trip because we had tickets to the Anne Frank museum (booked in advance). Overall, it was quite rushed, but a decent way to see a glimpse of Amsterdam.
I requested english tour, but it was mostly spanish group and tour guide was oriented on spanish speakers.Generally tour was pretty good .
Terrible experience, the tour guide would not shut up. Amsterdam is a filthy place with trash everyone’s the streets. Lots of it
3 hour bus ride each way, which could have been peaceful and relaxing, however the guide never shut up. He rambled on endlessly like he was getting paid by the word. Same thing on the boat ride and the 4 hour bus ride back. The 4 hours in Amsterdam were not the best, as we were just dumped by the boat ramp with no direction. I found the entire trip to be beyond annoying.
Check the weather, as Amsterdam is on a canal and the walk from the tour bus is along the water. Also carry your own water, restaurants do not offer free water
Our trip started out great, bus ride was 2.5hrs. We arrived and immediately noticed how packed it was, and almost lost our guide several times by not keeping up because of the crowds. The boat ride was amazing and very comfortable. Free time with no direction was terrible. My friend ended up having a super anxiety ridden day. Would have liked for more of a history tour and museum help like our other tour to Bruge and Ghent. Also, our first choice trip was canceled to Cologne. Would have rather been there instead. Furthermore, the ride back was awful. It took 3.5hrs to return after dropping off 2 people randomly at a rest area. I do not recommend this trip without doing your own research. 2/10. Will visit again, but not thru a guide.
Had an excellent time on this day trip! Wish we’d had more free time in the city, but was so happy regardless. The tour guide was friendly and informative!
English and Spanish. Besides guided spoke other languages Only negative point was that a physical map was not given only download. For those without internet it is a problem. For other tour maps were given
Great tour with our tour guide Harris. Very informative. The tour started on time and was very professional.
The driver and the guide were wonderful
Excellent balance of guided and not to explore Amsterdam! Oscar was a great, knowledgeable guide. The canal boat trip was a perfect way to start the visit.
I Was There At Meeting Point With My Family But They Did Not Allow Us To Climb As We Were Not Having Car Seats As We Were Having Two Kids Of 2.5 Year
We had a wonderful, amazing trip to Amsterdam! We are grateful to Paolo for being an excellent, great tour guide and Claudio as a safe driver! We definitely enjoyed our tour and it created another memorable experience for our family! Thank you so much! God bless and keep you all!
Organised well and fantastic tour guide Nice stories and value for money I am happy and will look forward to travel with this organization again
Antonio is wonderful, funny and gave us the tour in both Spanish and English. It wasn’t an easy task at all but he did it so well. On our free time, we tried the canal museum as he recommended and it was amazing. Great way to learn about the city’s canals. Thank you Antonio. Lovely time on the canal cruise as well.
It was a great day trip. Had some time with the guide and a lot of time to walk around on our own. The map and suggestions were great and, while we used some of those suggestions, we found a lot of interesting places on our own. Hit a lot of traffic on our way but still had time to explore.
Long day! The return was 5 hours on the bus. So in total 8 1/2 hrs on the bus. Our guide was both Spanish and English but leaned heavily on Spanish so didn’t feel we had a lot of information in comparison. Enjoyed the city. Walkable to most things we wanted to see. The boat was nice way to see the city albeit the guide didn’t seem to provide much English dialogue.
The trip was a good way to visit Amsterdam from Brussels and we enjoyed the canal cruise. Our main complaint was that the bus driver did not show up at a reasonable time for pick-up in Amsterdam and many of were left standing in a very cold environment for an extended time.
Our tour guy was friendly..we had fun and enjoyed . And we went all around in the Amsterdam . What a nice place!
Our guide Antonio was great and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the travel time to and from Brussels takes up too much time leaving us very little time to enjoy the city. Also, where the bus meet us on the way back is kind of far taking up more of the time there. To really enjoy this city I would have to come back on my own.
Amsterdam was great. The day trip was well organised and enjoyable. Learnt a lot about Amsterdam that we didn’t know before.
It was a very beautiful trip, the guide, Jules was very friendly with us, he gave a lot of information about the tour , about the buildings we saw. It was a very nice experience.
We had a nice time on the river cruise and walking around Amsterdam. Our travel guide was helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. The only downside is it took longer to get there and back as people don’t follow instructions! Otherwise it was a lovely trip.
It was well worth it if you haven't seen Amsterdam before. This was a day-trip by bus from Brussels taking up the full day. The boat tour gives you a good sense of the canal district, though it's not ideal for photos since you are quite low, but it was OK. The other boats and houseboats are interesting. I spotted a quaint restaurant overlooking a bridge and canal and declared to myself "I'm eating there!" - and did after the tour, sitting outside in the spring sunshine. You get a couple of hours of free time to wander around and explore.
Highly Highly Highly recommend this day trip to Amsterdam. Loved driving through and seeing the beautiful landscaped countryside, windmills, canals, farms , animals and homes on the way to Amsterdam. The Netherlands is truly breathtaking country and something out of a storybook. The canal cruise was incredible and you get to see so much . The 4 hour free time gave us enough time to see what we wanted and we were also able to see AnnFrank’s house by foot . Our tour guide Sabrina was also so amazing and very knowledgeable! We will have forever lasting memories because of this tour.Don’t pass up this incredible trip .. you won’t regret it!
Julian was very courteous and professional. He was multilingual and was accommodating to all. He gave history and unique insights and recommendations on places to see first, places to eat. At the end of the tour, I felt I made a new acquaintance in Brussels and would like to return and do another tour. It was a great day for our family.
Very fun experience with time to yourself to roam the city! I enjoyed this trip because I was able to roam the city for a few hours by myself since the tour allows you free time. Taking a map would be ideal or using the Apple Maps really helped me a lot to walk through the city and see what I wanted to see.
It was my first time to visit the European country and I would say it is amazing. The tour guide was super great, provide a clear historical along the way from Brussels to Amsterdam. In short, it was a perfect trip and relax...
