Novotel Brussels City Centre

Great, convenient location. Helpful and friendly staff. Large room set up as requested. The downsides were lack of amenities for a 4 star hotel (e.g. slippers) and the separate toilet to the bathroom does not have a sink so its not very hygienic or private if sharing a room with friends, colleagues or family. Also, only one toaster machine at breakfast. Would be better to have two so there are no queues.

Everything would have been perfect except for one significant issue. Upon our arrival, despite having booked a shared room for a conference with a colleague, we were assigned a room with a double bed instead of two separate beds. We immediately asked for a solution, but were informed that no rooms with separate beds were available and that the hotel was fully booked. As a result, no alternative accommodation could be offered. I certainly would not expect this kind of situation from a four-star hotel, especially when hosting business and conference guests. The inconvenience could have been avoided with greater attention to the room assignment and booking details.

We had the best time at this Novotel. We stayed for 2 nights and the swimming pool and gym were such a wonderful bonus. The location was ideal and we were able to travel to various places easily. We also took a few walks around the hotel to explore, particularly the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. We dined at the Gourmet Bar and it was just wonderful. We were also treated with a lovely surprise as I mentioned a special occasion in my booking. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Novotel Brussels City Centre with our two children (ages 7 and 3), and it turned out to be a perfect choice for a family trip. The hotel is extremely family-friendly. Both of our kids absolutely loved the play area—it has plenty of activities to keep children entertained. The swimming pool was another highlight, giving them a chance to relax and have fun after a day of sightseeing. We booked a family room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The beds were excellent, and the hotel also provided welcome gifts for the kids, which was a lovely touch. Complimentary water was provided daily as well. The location is fantastic. It’s just a 10–15 minute walk to Grand Place, and public transport is very convenient with tram and bus stops only 2 minutes away. Brussels Central Station is also within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Burger King and Carrefour are just 2 minutes away, and we also enjoyed great pizza at Nona Pizza, which is equally close. Decathlon is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. The staff truly made our stay special. They were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout. Since our flight was late at night, we requested a late check-out, and they immediately understood our situation and accommodated us without any hassle. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommended for families!
