-2026/10/08- It seems that the investigation was not thorough enough. There were also other completely unacceptable remarks made to us by the staff, such as, “The Chinese people are saying something about us!” and, “Why don’t you just walk to that hotel you can see over there? If you want, I can carry you there on my back. Haha...” These are simply unacceptable things for hotel staff to say to customers. I understand that the hotel may trust its employees, but I doubt that they would honestly admit to making such remarks if questioned directly. What matters, however, is that the treatment we received actually happened. We experienced it firsthand. Anyone who is considering staying at this hotel should seriously reconsider their decision. In particular, I would strongly advise Asian guests to avoid this hotel. ------------------------------------------- The manager responsible for hotel reservations at this hotel is absolutely terrible. Due to a flight cancellation, the airline arranged a reservation for me at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at around 9:00 p.m. When I checked in, I was told to wait because they were preparing a room for me. However, despite waiting, no room was ever secured for me. At around 11:00 p.m., I asked the manager in charge of check-in about the situation. I was told that they would arrange accommodation for me at another hotel. I noticed that Western guests were being taken care of and directed to other hotels one after another, while I, as an Asian guest, was left waiting for a very long time. Becoming suspicious about the situation, I asked the manager what was happening. He told me that I had not been directed to another hotel because I had not been there. I explained to him that I had been sitting in the lobby the entire time and had specifically told the staff that I would wait there and asked them to let me know as soon as another hotel had been arranged for me. I was told that they had understood and agreed to do so. At that point, the manager suddenly became extremely aggressive and said to me: “Do you want to stay here or not? Which is it?” I had no choice but to tell him that if they could arrange another hotel for me immediately, then they should do so. He then took me outside and pointed toward a hotel in the distance, saying: “That hotel over there! There are no taxis. Do you want me to carry you there? Haha... What the hell are you talking about, you Chinese?” For the record, I am Japanese, not Chinese. However, even if I had been Chinese, making such a racist remark would have been completely unacceptable. I was extremely angry and offended by his behavior. This is an absolutely terrible hotel. I would especially like to warn travelers from Europe and North America about this hotel. In my opinion, a hotel that changes the way it treats guests based on their appearance, perceived status, or ethnicity is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Incidentally, I was not able to check into another hotel until nearly 3:00 a.m.

This hotel does not meet 4-star standards for the following reasons: 1. The building is very old and needs renovation. 2. The AC is a split unit placed directly in front of the bed and it was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. There was no central air conditioning. 3. The bed and mattress were uncomfortable and lacked support. 4. Guest service was poor - my request for an extra blanket was not provided . 5- The housekeeping service was unacceptable. -One day they entered my room while I was sleeping even though I had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. -The next day I requested cleaning by putting the sign out and by calling reception, but no one came to clean the room. 6- I left water bottles with the restaurant to be frozen and clearly marked with my room number. The following day, they said they couldn't locate them.
My experience at holiday inn was not great. The hotel is a little old but a fine location for stay near airport. However service is non existent. No room service available. At the restaurant the dinner takes ages for a lot of customers. They say it will take 5 mins but it takes much longer. Will not go here again as I have had much better experiences at hotels in the area that are cheaper
Honestly was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. My first time staying at a Holiday Inn. Used the free airport shuttle, loved the self check in kiosks, great mini market downstairs, and cute lobby with some games like billiards and foosball. Room was good (got an upgrade with my IHG status!), comfy bed, but my only complaint was the lighting. We had one wall light fixture that wasn’t very bright and then 2 bright spotlights connected to the bed. Was not ideal and the buttons to turn the spotlight on was attached to the bed - leaning back we accidentally turned them on twice.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made every meal enjoyable. A special mention goes to Mr. Omar, who always greeted us with a warm smile and provided truly topclass service. His professionalism and kindness made our experience even more pleasant. The rooms were also very good clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything we needed was available, and we felt relaxed and at home throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic hotel with great service, lovely rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. Simply top!
