This was a good introduction to the city. Lots of storytelling which kept it interesting. Artur did a great job keeping us engaged and fed (2 types of waffles and some chocolate)
Arthur was our guide. Excellent English full of useful information and guiding with some humour. Very interesting and very knowledgable. The waffle bites and chocolate tasting a great added extra
Good experience, great was to have a quick run of the city. Our guide Steven is very knowledgeable and interesting.
Steve was an amazing tour guide. He taught us so many cool facts about the city delivered with a great sense of humor. Not to mention the absolutely delicious chocolate and waffle tasting. We went back to both places later to buy waffles and chocolate! Absolutely recommend this tour whether you're a new visitor or have been many times. You will definitely learn something new!
Steve was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, had the history and story touched with humor and antidotes . He was wonderful. HIGHLY recommend. The waffle bites and chocolate was so good.
Steve gave us a wonderful overview and positive experience in his entertaining tour of this beautiful city, Bruges. He interspersed history and humor, and gave the group some wonderful highlights to take home with us. Without a doubt, this is the best walking tour that my partner and I have ever done. Please keep up the wonderful work. Steve’s presentation was truly a gift. Wolfgang Knoess Linda Gold👏
Fun little side walking tour with Stephen. Informative with lots of stories. After booking this, we thought it might be a free walking tour you can pick up in Bruges.
In our experience this tour was a con. We turned up at 11am and there was nobody from “Green” Tours - Maria (from Ambassador Free Walking Tours) said that she had us down on her list but there was no chocolate or waffles. This was a free tour! So we paid in advance to Viator and received nothing from them. In the end, Maria was brilliant but obviously expected a healthy tip as her tour was free. In effect we paid twice. Very disappointed with Viator
This guide kept us focused on his tour via his personality and funny stories. His voice was very clear and understandable. You was very knowledgeable although he jokingly said that some guides answer questions with BS. My wife and I score him a five out of five. We forget his name, but he ran the tour on September 20th.At two o'clock.
Lots of local history. Steve was knowledgeable and personable. It was a great introduction to the city.
We absolutely loved our tour and Artur was so funny! Definitely recommend if you want to learn more about the history of Bruges.
Steven was a great tour guide. Very funny and engaging. It was a nice couple of hours around Bruges with a few sample tasting of local delights 😀
Arthur was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend. 2 hours of walking but very enjoyable !
My guide was Maria who was the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her love of Brugge was infectious. She is bubbly and friendly and so very helpful. Maria made the tour very very enjoyable
Fun time with Steven as he shared his knowledge of Bruges culture & history through waffles, beer & chocolate on this walking tour. A generous sprinkling of war, taxes & religion to illustrate the evolution of the city & people of Bruges. Finished with balloon creations! An interesting & eclectic mix delivered with charm & enthusiasm ❤️
Pascal our guide was brilliant, highly animated and descriptive and kept adults and our 3 children engaged and it was wonderful to hear the history of Bruges in a fun and entertaining way.
Steven was funny and very well informed of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! He made us laugh and included everyone
The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of helpful visitor info as we made our way through the streets. Great tour!
This was a really fun tour! Recommend it highly. We loved the waffle and chocolate samples.
We took our tour with Steve [who's daughter works at Lego ;)] and couldn't be happier. He was super knowledgeable about the city and was overflowing with fun facts about the most curious things. The free samples were also amazing. The chocolate tasting was hands down one of the best chocolates I've ever had. We definitely recommend!
Don't hesitate to book this fantastic, detailed and amusing tour with Steven (probably) the best tour guide in Bruges! We learned so many things and were taken to places we would not have found alone and everyone had a starring role in Steven's tour Thank you very much, it was such good fun 🙏
Steven is a great entertainer and knows a lot about this city. It was so much fun and we learned a lot. The tour is highly recommendable.
Steven is the born entertainer. Together with a lot of knowledge about Bruges this was the perfect tour. We had so much fun and learned a lot. Absolutely a must!!!b
Our guide, Steven with Across Bruges Walking Tour, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about Bruges and its fascinating history. He didn’t just recite boring facts and dates. Instead, he kept us all engaged with his very entertaining teaching style. He had all of us laughing- even our teenage daughters! I recommend booking this tour directly with Across Bruges Walking Tours, because it is a tip based tour. Viator charged me $14 to book, which I would have rather gone directly to Steven.
The tour was great. The information was wonderful. Enjoyed all the information we learned about this beautiful place. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Thank you so much.
If you have the option, go with Steve. He was funny, informative, and I will truly remember some things about Bruge and its history.
Nick is an excellent guide, very friendly, helpful and informative. It was a small group so it was easy to hear and ask questions.
We were looking for a more intimate tour. We booked the morning of our trip to Bruges. We received an email communication to tell us where to meet Steven. He was easy to find in the square. Steven did a great job and provided history and telling stories while we walked around Bruges. He provided lots of little facts, and kept it casual, which is what we were looking for. He was great to point out local shops and provide suggestions. He is a story teller and had visuals as well to help with some of the history. He also liked to mix in humor as well. We were coming here and were just going to walk around ourselves, but Steven was well a great addition to our itinerary as opposed to going at it alone, or getting with a larger tour group. We would recommend him and this tour.
We would recommend this tour and it is good value for money. The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable and the waffle bites and chocolates were yummy.
Awesome tour with a lot of information (& fun facts!). It was slightly over 2 hours and covered almost everything you’d need to know about this beautiful town. Our tour guide was great and kept everyone engaged throughout. Would definitely recommend this activity to anyone planning to do a day trip to Bruges.
Arthur was friendly & knowledgable, he turned this short walking tour into a fun and interesting experience. It really helped us navigate the city and find nice places to eat, drink, visit afterwards. Thoroughly recommended.
Excellent tour and great fun! Nice waffles and chocolate treats too! Artur is a great guide with great stories.
Artur was an amazing guide with great knowledge and great stories about the city. Take this tour as one of your first things to do in town and you'll have great recommendations for the rest of your time.
Great guide Arthur who was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and tour worth doing. We covered all main sights and had chocolate tasting and great recommendation for where to purchase locally made chocolates and where to go for great sweet and savoury waffles😊
Arthur was a great tour guide . His stories really helped us to understand the history of Bruges and his humor added to the experience.
Alester was amazing he did a great job he was very knowledgeable we really enjoyed our time with him a couple people in the group actually were going to book with him again another tour a different area I would highly recommend you said he came to Brooks about 6-7 years ago and has never left He was well liked The tour was 2 hours long the perfect amount of time we all spoke English so it made it easier for him
The guide, dressed like a bumble bee, was great and we had a very good time. The walk around the town went to places to visit later. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Our tour guide was excellent. He was prompt and Friendly. He truly brought Bruge alive with his storytelling and tips throughout the tour. Highly recommend!
Excellent knowledgeable local guide - loads of interesting facts and good recommendations of places to eat
Steven is great .. his knowledge is 2nd to none. He’s extremely funny and has a unique way of teaching you the history. He’s very well known by all the locals… great for little treats along the way…. Would highly recommend
Steve was excellent. Funny, educational, opened our eyes to what was around us. Loved his stories of Bruges' history, getting us to do a bit of “taking part”. We’ve done lots of these walking tours and this was the best.
We enjoyed the tour with Artur! Also good to know where to get waffles and chocolates that are most recommended. Free bite is better than none!
Interesting walk and good value. I personally didn't like the guide's self-agrandising sense of humour and 'jokes' on clichéd sterotypes. I would have preferred more historical/cultural stories and less personal anecdotes/opinions.
Great way to learn about the history of Brugge as well as to find your way around for further explorations. Gosia is an enthusiastic and engaging story teller, we enjoyed the trip very much
Steve was really good. Engaged well with the group and made it fun and interesting. Gave us some great tips on what else to see. Definitely recommend.
Although it was a tad rainy, my guide, Artur, made sure to adjust how our route looked - safe enough for us to move around. It's a quick high view of what's important to visit in the Brugges, and whichever called out to you, come back and spend time there. Artur a chill guy who engaged with everyone in the group and made the two-hour tour comfortable, so for a solo traveler, I recommend this tour all around.
Artur was an excellent guide, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We learned lots about the history of Bruges. He made it a funny and informative tour.
Great tour that gives you a bit more insight to the city than a regular walking tour. Our guide was great and super knowledgeable.
Steve was an excellent guide. He gave us history of the town. Lots of humor and plenty of knowledge. He also gave some important tips on the best fries, chocolate and waffles. We took advantage of his knowledge. The tour ends in a beautiful spot and we were able to easily walk to the train station. We would highly recommend this tour. Brugge is beautiful ; a don’t miss town
