Our guide was excellent and the food was great. Group was small enough that everyone could ask questions and there was so much information. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful tour with Daniel. There were on 3 guests on the tour which was nice. Received information by email beforehand with a photo of our guide so meeting up was easy. We set off right away to a chocolate shop and learned how to differentiate reuputable chocolate shops from others. The tour went at a good pace with sites of interest sprinkled in with food stops. We visited 2 churches along the route and he even treates us to a hot chocolate from his favorite chocolate shop. The food of course was delicious. It was a rainy and windy day but he did a good job of making sure we had to good places to get out of the elements.
Martín is passionate about history and it shows. We learned so much about the city of Bruges and Belgium as a whole. Come hungry, the food portions are very generous. We enjoyed everything we tried (even dark beer, surprisngly).
Unbelievable tour- Daniel knew all the ins and outs of the city and we thoroughly enjoyed him and his tour!
Daniel was so amazing. Loved learning so much history from him. He also treated us to the best food. He made us feel comfortable and cared for and we genuinely just loved our time with him.
Daniel was such a joy and made our day in Bruges an amazing one! He was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and treated us to the best food. It was amazing, start to finish. Highly, highly recommend!!
Fantastic experience. Our guide Daniel was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an inside look at the Brugges food scene.
Great tour! Our guide Daniel was incredible— very knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. Highly recommended!!
Such a great food tour. Gots to try all the local flavors and Martin very knowledgeable and entertaining
We had a great time with our guide Daniel! Our tour ended up being private - just my husband and me -- so we got special attention. Daniel was knowledgeable, hospitable, helpful (I had to find a restroom in a hurry), and personable. Very easy to talk to. The restaurants and foods were also outstanding, especially the Flemish stew. Daniel was kind enough to contact us after our tour and send us recipes for the stew and for the Belgian waffles. It was a great tour, and one of the highlights of our trip.
Martin gave us a great tour of Bruges! The food was fantastic and very filling!
Best tour of our trip! Daniel was an amazing guide, full of historical facts about Bruge as well as facts about chocolate, waffles, beer! The food stops were all delicious and we were quite stuffed by the end. Daniel was so engaging, personable and was just the most lovely person. We so enjoyed every minute of the tour as well as getting to know Daniel. Highly recommend!
Martin was THE BOMB! What a great experience… We learned so much about Bruges history and culture, along with the food. Everything was delicious, and we were certainly full by the end of the tour. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience in 3.5 hours.!
We had a really great guide, Daniel, who made this tour really enjoyable. This was more than a food tour because he not only took us to the best and most delicious food places, but he also gave us a tour of the area. I would highly recommend this tour.
Food and experience was very good...just expensive! Daniel was great....chocolate was excellent. Dinner was nice!
Our Bruges Food Tour with Daniel was exceptional in every way! We travel almost full time and have experienced countless tours, so it takes something truly special to stand out. From the moment we met him, Daniel felt less like a tour guide and more like a friend showing us around a city he genuinely loves. He was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even more impressive was how thoughtfully he tailored the experience to our particular interests, making the entire tour feel personal rather than scripted. And then there was the food! Every stop was carefully chosen, every taste was delicious, and Daniel connected the food, history, culture, and stories of Bruges together beautifully. We came away feeling that we had experienced far more than a food tour… we had been given a wonderful introduction to Bruges through the eyes of both a creative Chef and of a local who made the city come alive. Of all the tours we have taken during our years of traveling, this was one of the most memorable and enjoyable. Daniel is an absolute gem, and Do Eat Better Experience is very fortunate to have him. We arrived as Daniel’s guests and left feeling as though we had made a new friend. If you are visiting Bruges, be sure book this tour, and count yourself very lucky if you have the opportunity to tour with Daniel. We are big fans!
Our family had a wonderful time on the Bruges Food tour. It was the perfect amount of walking, history and food. It was a beautiful day and our tour guide was very knowledgable about both the city of Bruges and the food. We first stopped for some Belgian chocolate, then on to a church that had what they believe to be the blood of Christ on a cloth which we felt fortunate to see. We had croquettes, traditional Flemish stew, beers with cheese and two kinds of Belgian waffles. This tour truly made our trip to Bruges the best thing we did on our vacation!
This was our 3rd tour of our vacation and it was the best, by far! Daniel, our guide, was well informed, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure that the group learned about the town and history, but also things we could do even after the tour ended. He let us do a little shopping at an art fair, we had great food and drinks, and learned about Bruges. I only wish we had more time in Bruges!
I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had Daniel as a guide who was awesome. The food was amazing and Daniel did an excellent job showing us the various sites of the city.
Good and easy to locate the meeting spot. Was sent a picture of the meeting location and the Food Tour Guide by What's App. Very helpful. The tour was about 3 hours. Our Food Tour Guide Xavier was very knowledgeable, loved what he was doing and made us all feel welcome. He paced us well as we had about 4 stops - but not rushed. He was very engaging and just a real nice person to spend time with. This tour was very good value for the money. I learned a lot and saw some areas of Bruges I had not yet seen. I would book another tour with this Company.
I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had Daniel as a guide who was awesome. The food was amazing and Daniel did an excellent job showing us the various sites of the city.
We have done similar food tours in Madrid and Athens that were half the price with food just as good and copious.
This was absolutely a perfect way to end our trip to Belgium. The guide was wonderful. The food was wonderful. It was just a wonderful experience. Would recommended highly
A great tour with Daniel… you will certainly experience authentic Belgian food and culture. Definitely recommend.
Had a great time with our guide. Food was great. She gave us a good tour with info about where we went. No changes suggested!
Daniel was an excellent food and history tour guide - friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and speaks perfect English. My husband and I had a personal tour and learned so much about Bruges history and sites between our carefully selected food stops. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Bruges food, culture, and history.
Really good kick off to our stay in Bruges. Daniel was an informative and entertaining introduction to the food and culture of this beautiful city.
Great food tour with lots of history about Bruge. Selection of food and beer was perfect. Daniel was phenomenal. Ask for him iif able.
Our guide was awesome - so informative, relaxed and funny. I wish I could recall her name! The food was delicious and there was a LOT of it with quite a variety of all the local specialties: Flemish beef stew, fries, croquettes, chocolate, and of course locally brewed beer. Yum! Would highly recommend.
Martin our guide was excellent in guiding us through not just the food of Bruges but he also took us on a historical and cultural journey. The pace was perfect, leisurely enough to savour every mouthful and fast enough to fit in many delicious treats of chocolates, beer, waffles, beef stew and croquettes ! No supper was required after the feast of food that we enjoyed making the tour incredibly good value. I would whole heartedly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Martin as your guide you will not be disappointed. He is charming and knowledgable and an excellent companion on a tour of this delightful fairytale city.
Martin gave us the most wonderful tour ! Everything we tried was delicious and each venue so welcoming. Martins additional knowledge of cultural and social history of the country and region was so informative and really entertaining. Probably one of the best food tours we’ve done and we have done lots ! I would whole heartedly recommend the company and Martin. The information we received from the moment we booked and throughout has been excellent. Thank you to Martin for making our visit to Bruges so special ! 💞
This was our first time doing a tour like this. What a great pick - Daniel (our guide) was very knowledgeable on local history and showed us sone fantastic local food stops. Overall it was a hugely enjoyable experience. We came away full of knowledgeable and food - great value for money. Thank you Daniel - a great guide.
Daniel was a wonderful tour guide and went above and beyond to make the tour special. I had so much fun, and my stomach was very happy! :-)
Let me first start by saying that my wife and I had a lovely time on this tour. David was great and had lots of fun anecdotes about the city and his life. We had him all to ourselves. That being said, I don’t feel like the stops were curated well enough for a tour of this type and at this price point. This is one of the more expensive food tour options I’ve ever been on, maybe 30-40% higher vs comparable Eating Europe tours or other. I like to take these food tours to go to the nooks and crannies of the cities we visit—not make stops that are directly off the square where you start the everyone is going to visit. I want to visit the mom and pops that are a little off the beaten path and maybe don’t get quite the business as the newer shops but have a rich tradition going back decades. Maybe this is just my own personal preference but this is my feedback nonetheless, take it for what it’s worth. 90% of people taking this tour will be fine and will have a great time. Find the nooks and crannies!
This was a great food tour by martin, would do again with a group when coming back in a few months. Well worth the money. 10/10
Our guide Daniel was really friendly and knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience fun. The food was incredible, especially the Flemish stew, definitely my favorite. The group was small, so it felt personal and relaxed, making it easy to chat and ask questions. The pacing was spot on, we had plenty of time to enjoy each dish, take photos, and really soak in the atmosphere at every stop. It never felt rushed, which made the whole experience way more enjoyable. Daniel shared some awesome tips on other places to visit and eat after the tour. It was great to get insider recommendations that you wouldn’t usually find in guidebooks or online. The local knowledge really helped us plan the rest of our day and made the whole experience feel even more special.
This was such a great way to see Bruges! Our guide, Daniel, was super knowledgeable, entertaining, and even had great recommendations for the when the tour finished! We were a group with 3 generations, and all members enjoyed this thoroughly!
This was an amazing way to see beautiful Bruge while also enjoying Belgium's amazing food and drinks. Our guide Daniel was knowledgeable, accomodating, and friendly. The places he brought us were great! The kids in our group enjoyed this as well.
What a fantastic tour. Daniel was an amazing guide and knew so much about the city. Plenty of food and drink throughout (all amazing). Would definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent information and a variety of foods and beverages. Daniel was an excellent host and adapted the pace of the tour to meet the needs of our group.
Wonderful experience. Samuel was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious especially the Flemish stew. Would definitely do this again!
We loved our food tour! We met at 5pm and were very lucky it was just us. Daniel was super engaging, telling us about the history as well as being willing to answer all our questions - even some top tips of where we could go for food/drink the rest of the weekend. The food (without saying!) was also brilliant, spending the right amount of time at each location to take in the atmosphere. Thank you so much Daniel, we learnt (and ate) a lot!
Great food tour with Daniel. We ended up being the only 2 on the tour with him. He was fun and was easily able to inform us about the history of the food(which was a ton). He also was a wonderful resource for everything from food, to beer, bars, and shopping.
Our friendly guide Daniel definitely gave us a 5 star VIP experience! He walked at our pace and allowed as much time as we needed at the 5 included stops. The foods were most excellent, everything from Belgian chocolates and waffles to Flemish stew and craft beers! We had opportunities along the way to purchase souvenirs and extra treats. Daniel's local knowledge and stories added greatly to our experience during our scenic walk through downtown Brugge, giving us a well rounded tour that was much more than just a series of restaurant stops. With Daniel as a guide, you don't need a separate walking tour of Brugge!
We had a wonderful time with Natalie. It could not have been better. We do a lot of food tours and this ranked up there with one of the best. Lots of great authentic food and Natalie was great to deal with. Would highly recommend. You will come away very full!
This tour was a great orientation to the food and the city. We were so fortunate to have Dan as our tour guide - I'm a former guide myself and a history buff and he absolutely amazed me with his knowledge. We left not only full of delicious food but full of new information. Thank you for a fabulous time!
Booked this tour online after reading the great reviews. The weather was terrible and we were the only two booked so very pleased that it wasn’t cancelled! Daniel was our guide and he was great - very knowledgeable about Bruges and took us to great little spots to sample many of the local food delights. Way more food than we imagined and there was no way I could finish the final plateful! 😋
What a fantastic experience! We did this as an excursion while traveling to Bruges from a cruise. Our guide was Martin and our family of three were the only ones signed up so it ended up being a very personalized tour. I can’t say enough good things about Martin- he was very knowledgeable about Bruges food/culture but also shared detailed history, as well. He showed us some great hidden gems and “off the beaten path” destinations and pointed out details throughout the city that we would have otherwise missed. The food was a highlight, as well! This was one of our favorite experiences on our vacation.
Our guide Daniel was local, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He steered us to just the right chocolate shops, waffle makers, breweries and restaurants. All his recommendations were excellent, and he filled in many details we would never have otherwise learned about the cuisine of Bruges and the rest of Belgium. Absolutely a first-class tour in every way!
Our walking food tour in Bruges was hands-down one of the best highlights of our trip! It was the perfect blend of culture, history, and incredible local flavors. From the very first bite to the last sip, everything was thoughtfully curated and absolutely delicious. We started off with warm, freshly made Belgian waffles crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. Then came a stop at a cozy local pub, where we sampled a flight of Belgian beers, each with its own unique character. Our guide Daniel explained the stories behind the brews and how beer culture is deeply woven into Belgian heritage. The highlight for us was the hearty bowl of traditional Flemish beef stew, slow-cooked in dark beer and full of rich, savory flavor. It felt like comfort food with a historical twist so satisfying after exploring the city on foot. The walking pace was relaxed, and our guide was fantastic funny, informative, and clearly passionate about Bruges’ culinary traditions. We also loved getting insider tips on hidden gems and where the locals really eat. If you want to experience Bruges with your tastebuds as well as your eyes, this tour is a must. Come hungry you won’t be disappointed!
