Belgian Chocolate Truffle Making Workshop In Bruges

Andy was informative and made the class so much fun! We made truffles, hot chocolate and ganache. I would recommend doing when in Bruges!!

It is very hands-on, you prepare the truffles from the scratch; so it is really fun. Our host was very friendly and experienced. We enjoyed our chocolate-travel 🥰

We had so much fun making chocolates in Belgium! The truffles were delicious as was the hot chocolate. Recommend for couples or people who love chocolate or love to cook/bake

This experience was okay, the instructor wasn’t very enthusiastic. I wasn’t very impressed with the taste of our truffles. The hot chocolate tasted very good. There was a little confusion on steps. Instructor should have been calling out steps aloud instead of popping around to different groups.

It was just okay. Nothing really stood out about following directions from a piece of paper while they watch us make it. Nothing about “the experience” felt Belgium or like we really had a lot of fun. It was okay.

This was a great experience in Brugge. The instructor was very helpful and made the class so much fun. Absolutely worth it.

After attending a wonderful Stroopwafel Workshop in Amsterdam, this workshop disappointed. The recipe did not work as followed. Almost everyone in the class had to improvise at the end with the mixture on the hot plate to melt the chocolate and ended up with a product that was almost impossible to roll into a ball. That being said, the truffle recipe tastes quite good.

Our family of 4 kids (ages 8-14) loved this class! Tine was so patient and explained everything very well. We loved her stories and historical information. And our truffles tasted great! We also loved the Belgian hot chocolate we made while we waited for the truffles to chill.

My husband and I I had a terrific time making truffles. We would definitely recommend the experience either to take older kids or as a couple.

A poor experience. The group leader was inept and totally disinterested in the group. He didn't have any charisma and seemed to be reading from a script. He was much more interested in haste and clearing up than in disseminating any knowledge or passion of chocolate (if he had any). Don't waste your money.

We had a fun time at the truffle and hot chocolate making workshop. The treats we made were delicious! The instruction was clear and there was ample time to make our truffles and enjoy the hot chocolate that we made.

The class was excellent, with all of the ingredients laid out and a recipe to follow. Our instructor was very friendly and welcoming. The introductions with other participants made it more friendly in knowing their travels. The result is walking away with delicious truffles!

This workshop was great! Son was a great guide with great friendliness and having in depth conversation about chocolate and the history of it.

My family of 4 had a great time making chocolate truffles. Instructions were easy to follow and it took about an hour and 45 minutes or so. Truffles taste so much better when you make them yourself!

Great time learning to make truffles. We were able to sample ruby chocolate too which was an unexpected treat. The class was small and a lot of fun.

We had such a fun morning making chocolate truffles! The experience was hands-on, creative and full of sweet surprises. Sabina was lovely - warm, welcoming and had some stories about the history of Belgian chocolate. It was the perfect mix of learning and laughter. We left with a box of tasty handmade treats. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers.

Short, sharp and a lot of fun! A great experience, with a humorous history of ganache and truffles provided. Importantly - the finished product tasted amazing (despite our creative skills falling short).

Making truffles was so much fun! Tina was super friendly, great at walking us through all the steps, and sharing the history of chocolate and ganache. We did the 90 minute session and it fit perfectly into our day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience! A fun way to learn about chocolate and experience it first-hand. It was efficient (90 min sharp), informative, and delicious. Sandy was a fantastic instructor and did a great job. Perfect for all ages (our group had families as well as adults all mixed together).

We lucked out and were only two groups, so our instructor was able to spend quality time with us. She was so sweet and very informative. Most importantly, our truffles tasted AMAZING and we made enough to completely fill two big boxes. The hot chocolate we were served was also sooo delicious. We are planning our own truffle making party back home. Can't recommend this class enough, whether it is for a romantic moment or with family.

We loved this workshop! Our teacher was very nice, interesting and knowledgeable about all aspects of chocolate, and it was great to go through the steps to make chocolate truffles. It was the right size group and so much fun. A wonderful and memorable experience!

Nice activity if you are a chocolate ultra lover… otherwise it is pretty simple not to say maybe a little bit boring. My kids had some fun son that’s why I am not scoring a 2 or 3, but most of the activity is just waiting for the no chocolate to freeze.

Fun, interactive demonstration with easy-to-follow instructions that allow you to customize your own truffles to take home. Located just off the shopping square. Length of the workshop is good, enough time to make the truffles and still have part of the day to explore Bruge if you’re only in town for 1 day.

We had a wonderful time. Met some nice people and made great candy. the only have one thought would be is to have stools, bending over for over one hour did hurt the back.

Excellent in every way. Our chocolatier, Maria, was an excellent tutor and coach. Plus she's a sweetheart. We learned to use a lot of equipment and techniques, and we came away with a box full of shiny pieces of deliciousness, but the best thing was the two hours spent there with such creative people. And the morning ended with two of them, a couple from Wales, getting engaged!

You learn about chocolate, you cook chocolate and you eat chocolate. Fun and delicious experience. What's not to love?

This class is so fun and the truffles are delicious! It lasted about 90 mins and the truffle and hot chocolate recipes are easy and the methods well explained so it can be done at home too.

This was a fun activity we booked for a family birthday. It was something we could all get our hands messy doing and enjoy the yummy product! The class was well organised with all the needed equipment and instructions. The truffle class was good for kids (rather than the more complex class) as it is a more simple and shorter lesson with an end result that you can't really get wrong.

Fun way to spend an hour or so in Bruges, while learning something new with fellow travelers. Highly recommend.

Bought this as a surprise for our friend with whom we were travelling. It was excellent- Sam the instructor was very good. We had time to make ganache, he gave us hot chocolate to drink, told us lots of facts and fun things to do. Then we made our truffles. We each made about 20 large truffles

I joined this workshop as a birthday gift surprise from my friends, and I loved it! As a chocolate lover myself, I consider this experience to be just perfect. The host was lovely, and the amount of truffles we got was more than enough! I ate them all on my train ride ;) must do in Bruges!

The instructor was very nice, but struggled to lead multiple groups and keep things fun. We mostly fended for ourselves.
