Staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, the kids enjoyed their stay, and there was a decent selection at breakfast. Considering the hotel’s location, I felt that parking could have been included in the room rate. We were told that parking is apparently free when booking directly with the hotel rather than through a third-party provider, which would have been useful to know beforehand. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was also not functional during our stay. For a one-night stay, it was good value and overall worth it.

A wonderful hotel where we stayed as a family during our trip to Belgium, where we truly felt right at home. The breakfast was great, and they had every basic thing we could possibly ask for our kids. On top of that, it has its own parking, and it's free! A huge thank you to all the reception staff—they were always smiling and extremely helpful!
⭐ 1 STAR – EXTREMELY DISTRESSING EXPERIENCE I would not recommend this hotel, particularly to families. I booked directly and was staying with my 7-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter. I complained politely about a €26 meal which I found to be of an unacceptable standard. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager, Michelle, told me that if I didn't pay, my room key would be blocked and I would be locked out of our room. My daughter was actually in the room at the time. She then told me she would call the police and have us removed from the hotel — and she did. The police attended, I paid the disputed €26 bill, and I was then told to leave at approximately 10pm with my two children and nowhere to go in a foreign country. I remained polite throughout and simply asked to speak to management about the food. I have worked as Cabin Crew for many years, so remaining calm and professional in difficult situations is something I am very used to. The issue is no longer the €26 meal. It is the complete lack of compassion and the way this situation was handled. I have made a formal complaint to the hotel and followed up, but have received no response. I have now referred the matter to the relevant consumer authorities. Think very carefully before booking this hotel. This was one of the most upsetting experiences I have ever had as a paying guest.
It's not as good as the photos suggest. Room was dated and the bathroom in need of refurbishment. Our room was very close to the main road so quite noisy, hence the complimentary ear plugs. There was no noise when the window was closed, but there was no aircon we we had to open the window. Yes, there is a pool but very small and even the shallow end was too deep for out 6 year old. Why the astroturf in the lift? It was expensive for what was on offer and would say this was a 2 or 3 star hotel, not a 4 star
⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel has some definite positives, but unfortunately, there are also several things that made our stay quite uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the complete lack of air conditioning throughout the hotel. With temperatures reaching 37°C, it was honestly unbearable. You can take a shower and be sweating again within minutes, and there is simply nowhere in the hotel where you can cool down. In such hot weather, air conditioning would make a huge difference. The room also had no safe and no fridge. Considering the lack of air conditioning, having a small fridge would have been particularly useful just to keep drinks cold. The bathroom was also disappointing — the quality and finish felt very dated and reminded us of a basic workers’ room from the old days in Poland. The swimming pool was another disappointment. The water was extremely warm, almost like soup, so it wasn’t very refreshing at all. The large paradise-themed poster around the pool also made the area look rather cheap and dated. The parking costs €8 per night, which feels a little expensive, especially as there aren’t really many alternative options if you’re staying at the hotel. On the positive side, the breakfast was very good, with a great selection of teas and bread, as well as both hot and cold options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and special praise goes to Pascal from the bar — he was absolutely fantastic! Probably the best part of our stay. 😊 As for the location, when you first arrive, you might think you’ve found a peaceful hotel surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the nearby motorway is quite noticeable and means it’s not as quiet and relaxing as it initially appears. However, the location is still very convenient for visiting Bruges — the city centre is just a short distance away. You can also rent bicycles from the hotel or walk into town. Overall, the hotel has a great location and lovely staff, but for us, the lack of air conditioning, fridge and safe, together with the dated facilities, significantly affected the comfort of our stay. In 37°C weather, air conditioning really should be a priority.
