Hotel International Brno

I visit here regularly for courses I need to take. The rooms are great, and location is excellent. I was worried about staying in summer since the weather can get pretty hot (35+), but I am glad to report the AC in the hotel is excellent as well. Also, the hotel has one of the best gyms I have even seen in any hotels so that is a huge plus.

Good hotel with an excellent location. It felt safe and comfortable, and the hotel itself is well maintained and attractive. Breakfast was decent and had enough variety. The main downside was the size of the room. It was very small, with barely enough space to move around. The wardrobe was not very practical, and the refrigerator being placed inside it made the storage space even more limited. Overall, a pleasant stay thanks to the great location and comfortable atmosphere, but the room size could definitely be improved.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the breakfast is excellent. However, the additional services, such as the laundry service, are terrible, and I simply cannot give more than 1 star because of this experience. I arrived yesterday afternoon and asked whether the laundry service was available, as I needed a shirt washed. I was told that it was available, but that I should prepare the laundry bag for the next day because they could not assist me immediately. I placed my shirt in the bag as instructed, but, unsurprisingly, nobody collected it. I then called reception and explained the whole situation, only to be told that there is no laundry service available on weekends. I asked for someone to come to my room and clarify the situation because one person was telling me the service was available while another was saying the opposite. A very polite lady came to my room and told me that the shirt could be washed, but only the next day (Sunday). She then called reception, and once again reception said that it was not possible. At this point, I honestly do not understand what is going on. The lack of communication and the contradictory information from the staff are unacceptable. This is simply not the level of service I would expect from a hotel, and the whole situation feels like a complete joke.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel room was clean and modern. The breakfast quality was also good for the price, offering great value. I accidentally left behind my favorite Bluetooth earphones after checking out, but the hotel staff kept them safely and returned them to me. I really appreciated their honesty and kindness. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
