Grandhotel Brno

Very nice location in the center city and very close to the main bus and train stations, luxury ,big clean room and its toilet , very comfortable, Tasty food at its restaurant Garden High quality of service

Located right next to the main train station in Brno, I was able to walk to the hotel from my train within 10 minutes. The lobby is quiet and very premium, I was able to use the clean bathrooms and get water before even checking in. The rooms were incredible and had amazing views of the main train station and tram lines. The only issue I encountered was a broken lock but my stay was too short for it to be an issue.

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Brno for 3 nights with several colleagues. Unfortunately, while their rooms were comfortable, I was given a much smaller room than the others, which was disappointing from the start. The biggest issue was that my room had no functioning air conditioning (problems in some part of the hotel). The Wi-Fi in my room also did not work during the stay. I reported both problems to reception several times over several days, but neither issue was resolved in time. After a lot of complaints, I was finally moved to another room—but only on the last night of my stay. To make matters worse, I took an iced tea from the minibar and was charged for it. Normally, that would be completely fair, but after spending four nights without working AC and Wi-Fi, it felt a bit ironic that this was the one thing that worked perfectly. The hotel has a good location and some positive aspects, but the lack of timely resolution to basic comfort issues significantly affected my experience.

Perfect location right across from the big bus station and plenty of food places nearby. Lidl within walking distance. Drinking Water is not free, average breakfast and the pillows are uncomfortable are the only negative things.
