Our driver arrived on time and we met our tour guide, Oceania, at the site. She was fantastic! We learned so much and she had the perfect pace for us. Her English was great and she really explained the whole layout. We enjoyed being with her. It was an amazing experience.

Our Mont Saint-Michel tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to France and worth every penny! Miriam, our English-speaking tour guide, was absolutely incredible. She was so knowledgeable, engaging, and captivating that we honestly would have happily spent another hour or two with her. The amount of history and knowledge she shared was mind-blowing, and she had such a wonderful way of bringing the history of Mont Saint-Michel to life rather than simply reciting facts. One of the little touches we especially appreciated was that Miriam continually offered to take photos of us throughout the tour. When you’re traveling as a couple, so many of your photos end up being selfies, so having beautiful photos of the two of us together was such a gift — and she took genuinely professional-quality pictures! Jeffery, our driver, was equally wonderful. He was thoughtful, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the experience, offering us water and taking care of all the little details. From beginning to end, the entire tour was perfectly executed. Between Jeffery and Miriam, we always knew where we needed to be and what was happening next, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy the experience. It truly felt like a luxury, private experience from start to finish. If you’re wondering whether a private tour of Mont Saint-Michel is worth the price, our answer is absolutely yes. We had a great experience. Our only issue was the time. With 1 hour travel in each direction, it left just enough time to see the buildings/ rooms and hear the history but left no time for lunch or browsing in shops.

Everything went perfectly. The driver arrived on time in a clean Mercedes van to take us from San Malo to Mont St Michel. He took a back road through the countryside to avoid tourist buses and get an unobstructed view from a distance. On arrival he handed us off to our guide, Florence. She was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and able to provide us a lot of information about the monastary, the town, the tides, etc. She took us through at our pace answering every question and laughing at our meager jokes. After, she made sure we had time for a snack and water break before handing us back to our driver. A great day visiting an amazing historical landmark. Highly recommended!

The pleasant ride from St Malo set the tone for the wonderful tour ahead. Regis, the driver, was quietly accommodating and then dropped us where a bus transported us the short distance to the base of Mont-St-Michel. There we met with Oceana, our delightful guide. She was so very informative with facts and stories of the history. We were able to take our time due to our ages with Oceana being very patient. However, we feel that we didn’t miss a thing with her guidance. Lovely excursion altogether!

You must be physically a led to climb 350 steps!! Our guide Cecil was awsome! She explained everything to us in English.

Visiting the Abby. It was a great tour. Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Abby. The Abby has lots of steps to reach the top, so need to be in good physical health. Also, enjoyed the beautiful views of the area.

You need to experience this phenomenal 708 AD village, abbey, Monastery and Church- It was totally awe -inspiring! A tad crowded but, so worth it! We had take-away-which was delicious and gelato. So, they have shopping and restaurants within it. Quite a hike to it from the parking areas or you can take a shuttle, which we did. Loved that could experience it. Our guide, Cecelia was a sweetheart and had a wealth of knowledge. She gave us time to grab a sandwich and shop a bit, which we appreciated!

Cecile was an excellent guide. Her knowledge and ability to tell us about St. Michele was both interesting and entertaining. Everything was seamless with this tour- from the transportation from St. Malo to St. Michele. I would caution those with any mobility issues to ask questions concerning the terrain prior to booking. It is a very steep climb to the top.

Great experience. Drivers met us at the ship on time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable . Unfortunately we had rain, but the weather cleared up so we could get wondaful pictures before we left.

Mt St Michel is going to be crowded. But, having a driver and knowledgable guide makes all the difference! Very nice air conditioned van that picked us up from our hotel in St Malo and got us as close to possible to our meeting point. It’s about an 45 min drive. Our guide was wonderful and kept my kids engaged. We ended the tour with hot dogs and cold sodas with a great view of the sea (I don’t know how our guide got us seating!) It was hot and there are a lot of stairs to climb. Well worth it from the top! Highly recommend this package to make the most of this incredible historical sight and avoid the stress and frustration of a crowded attraction.

What an amazingly ng day we had at Mont St -Michel. Our driver Oliver, who took us there was extremely professional and courteous and was right on-time both ways. Our personal guide, Natalie could not have been more charming and really helped bring the Mont to life for us with her in-depth knowledge and stories. We finished with a delightful lunch at a place that Natalie picked for us. We could not be happier with the tour!

This was a special birthday present for my husband from our daughter. We were met and picked up by the professional driver in Saint-Malo to visit Mont St. Michel in northern France. He was a great driver, very kind and a wealth of information about all of France. When we arrived at our destination, he parked and walked with us to meet our tour guide. She also was amazing. She had all the right tickets and knew everything from which restrooms to use to which kings did what, and which architecture was from which century, and how the monks have lived there- and still do. She went back and forth from English to French, depending on which language we used to ask our questions. (Also, she either knew the people who worked there when she brought us to the front of the lines, or she knew what to say to them, so that they always let us through, and she knew all sorts of shortcuts to avoid the crowds!) Then she took us back to our driver, who was kind enough to drop us off at a different location than where we had met him in the morning. This was a red-carpet treatment day, from the beginning to the end. It was perfect.
