Really lovely hotel in the heart of Roscoff. Staff especially helpful, which made it much easier for our group - as not a lot of french speakers in our group!
Went for breakfast here. It was a beautiful setting and the food was high quality. The staff were very attentive too and helpful! Will definitely visit again.
Hotel with a dull, corporate style. Small room. Old-fashioned carpets and heavy curtains. Last time in a Mercure for me.
Checked in on a ‘Heritage weekend’ across Europe. Was able to park on the street for 30 minutes to drop bags and then off to park car. Warning - parking is very expensive in Roscoff… €44 per day in central area, which realistically is where you want to be. The hotel has a private car park and I really suggest you book it as it’s cheaper and totally secure, a 5 minute walk from the property. Checked into our 2 rooms by a very professional lady who gave us all the information and we took the breakfast option for the first morning. Rooms are newly renovated I think, nice quality with walk in showers and comfortable king size beds. There is no air con but the windows open which worked for me. Usual amenities in room but no milk for tea if that’s your thing. We are in a local seafood restaurant 2 minutes walk away which was fabulous both nights, the hotel restaurant is a nice room overlooking the bay and that’s where breakfast is served too. Breakfast was the only let down during our stay, average quality at best which is a shame considering the exceptional quality of bakeries in France. There were hot food options too but it was busy and they couldn’t keep up with demand. If I stayed again I would just go out to a tabac or bakery for a quick bite. Roscoff is a very tourist centric town and if you want ‘normal’ shops and supermarkets just drive 10 minutes to St Pol-de-Leon. I wanted to stock up to take French food and wine home and it was great, 2 big supermarkets with everything I wanted. Check out for us was early as we were heading to the port for a 7.30am check in. Very easy 6 minute to the Ferry terminal. Overall a good stay and would use this property again.
