Very cute and quaint boutique hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Bath was updated and clean. Right on the boardwalk with amazing sunset views. Breakfast buffet definitely above average. Would stay here again if we are in this area. Thank you!
View was amazing! Wauw! Breakfast was bad, the croissant was stale, while in France! Old plumbing so barely any pressure from the shower. But the view makes up for a lot.
DOG FRIENDLY - My wife and I stayed here prior to visiting the channel Island so merely a stopover but we were very impressed and particularly appreciated the kindness shown to our dog with a bed, goodies and bowls provided. In our early morning rush we left our own pet bed behind but it was retained and we could pick it up on our return. We would like to stay longer next time.
I was only in this hotel for one day, passing through, so it's hard for me to write a comprehensive review. I was unlucky because the heat was record-breaking when I visited St. Malo, so the lack of air conditioning was a real problem. However, I had already been informed about the lack of air conditioning, so it's not a defect, but a feature of the hotel. The staff was very good, and you can communicate in English, which isn't standard. Overall, I recommend it for cold days.
I just stayed there and my number one impression is that they need to get better croissants and pains au chocolates. Thanks goodness for the bread, Breton butter and jams or I would have left hungry. The rest of the hotel is lovely. My room was comfortable with a small slice of ocean in the view, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods which I thought odd but as I never wanted to make coffee it was fine. Also it's a 30 minutes walk to St Malo and the weather tends to be breezy so bring a good coat when you come to Brittany.
