Delightful hotel right near the water. Very friendly reception. Large, comfortable room with outstanding bathroom. Would have been great to have a kettle in the room. No a/c but they brought a fan to the room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.
Right on the quayside with stunning river views. Close to some great restaurants and 15 minutes walk to nearby beaches.
Had one night booked as an add on to a ferry booking. Room was big, but the 2 big windows were right next to a public terrace at waist height, so couldn't have them open in case someone came in through and no aircon so room was too warm. No towels in room so had to ring down for some. No kettle in room and couldn't even get one. Excellent location, free parking at rear, were probably the best parts
This is not a four-star hotel as in the sense of a "European four-star hotel". It is far away from a two-star bed and breakfast. I guess they needed to have a safety box to pass the audit but it is not even plugged and there's no near plug. There's no Air Conditioning, and that is a requirement to have four stars in France. The only windows of my room are those small squares in the pictures and can't be opened. The place is suffocating and wet. Also, the room has no intimacy or safety at all, since it has a broken cristal door directly connected to the public parking place, at street level. I wish Atout France or the Consumer Office would check this place and fine them appropriately so no one else suffers this. If you come to suffer this, at least I warned you. Check the pictures of my room by yourselves before you book here.
Location was good. However if you are British, do not come to this hotel as you are treated differently to everyone else. And when I questioned the lady behind the desk couldn't care one bit and was very rude to us. The rooms don't have air conditioning so you have to have the windows open to cool down. Due to the proximity to the quayside and local bars you hear all the drunks at 1/2 in the morning. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to groups or British people as you will be treated differently to everyone else.
