Amir was fantastic. He's friendly, knowledgable and fun. He took a bunch of photos for us and showed us some of the better vantage points for viewing. Going on this trip in October meant that there weren't any wait times for anything and the weather was perfect. Really enjoyed our trip and would highly reccomend.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the Whistler Sea-to-Sky tour, including the waterfalls and gondola. We booked through VanTrips and were very fortunate to have a private tour with Amir. Amir was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and engaging, and he led a fantastic tour from start to finish. The scenery was spectacular, with countless opportunities for beautiful photographs. An added bonus is that Amir is also a professional photographer. He took some wonderful photos of my wife and me throughout the day and promptly texted them to us later that same evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and highly recommend booking a tour with VanTrips, and especially with Amir. We will definitely use VanTrips again on our next visit to Vancouver!
Went on an Alaska Land/Sea Tour in May 2026. Flew into Vancouver & spent 3 days there before staring the tour. Researched a variety of excursions to do while we were in Vancouver. Selected a few. One which was the WHISTLER Sea to Sky Gondola & Brandywine Falls Tour. In initial description it is indicated that the tour goes to the Gondola (ride included) but in very small print in other description, indicates that there is an additional fee for the gondola ride (additional $76 p/p). Tour for 2 ppl was approx. $340.00. The tour operator contacted us prior to the tour & asked if we could change the date of going, however we would not be in Vancouver until 2 days later, so they kept it at our original date booking. We were not contacted (as indicated) the day prior to pick-up. I was getting a bit nervous, as we did not know where to be picked up or meet-up for this tour & were not sure if they cancelled altogether. Finally contacted tour operator (EARLY AM) of day of booking. We were to be picked-up @ our hotel, by Arim. As it turned out the other people that were to be on this tour had rearranged to do it 2 days earlier (when operator tried to get us to switch). So we ended up having a private tour (just my husband & I). We had time to spend at each of the stops a bit longer. There were 2 falls we went to; Shannon Falls & Brandywine Falls. Both were breath-taking. He next drove us thru Stanley Park (he did not stop to let us walk around in park - that's a different tour). He drove around the park & pointed out the various points of interest. Then we went over the Bridge to Northern Vancouver. Guiness Family (of Guiness Beer) settled there in the early 1900's and own most of the land by the shores of the Bay. Tour continued and did some more sights & hiking. Next stop was the Olympic Village (2010 Olympic) & dropped us there for a few hours to walk around the village, shop & eat. Picked us up & drove back to downtown Vancouver (where tour started). Stopped at a pier along the way to view bay & take photos. It was a beautiful day (temps in low 70's) and sunny. He was very personable & gave us a lot of history & insights to Canada & Vancouver. Originally from Persia & has been here 20+ yrs. I would highly recommend this tour as it was a private tour. Not sure if the normal tour (usually 8 to 10 ppl) would get his kind of one-on-one tour.
I wish I could give 6 stars but unfortunately there’s no option. The tour was wonderful and Amir was passionately involved and supporting. I’d definitely do it again and recommend to everyone who’s reading this.
We spent the entire day with Amir touring us up and down the coast as far North as Nairn falls above Whistler. It was low impact physically for my go getter hiking friends, but high impact in scenery and beautiful waterfalls. The best aspect was the owner guide who was flexible and easy to work with from day one planning to door step drop off. He was reliable, interesting, and interested and did a pretty good job of reading the crowd adjusting timing and agenda accordingly. His driving is smooth and safe and we all felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this outfit for any tour or van transportation needs.

A multi-generational trip with a cruise ship on one end and an international flight on the other, and every part seemed seamless. The only thing missing was a Time Machine— our guide was correct that this visit could easily have been a week long. What I am confident about after a day, though, is that we will be back! I would suggest this as a very suitable tour for kids, but there is a windy drive so plan a few distractions. If you can, stay overnight! If you must get your plane, feel confident you’ll be on time with a lot of great things to discuss at the airport.
We had such a great time with Amir! He was super pleasant and made everyone feel comfortable right from the start. Instead of the usual boring, scripted tour, he told funny stories that kept us entertained the whole way. He also took amazing pictures and videos for us, which was such a nice touch, and even played our favourite music on the bus—definitely added to the vibe. Overall, he made the experience fun, relaxed, and memorable. Would 100% recommend him to anyone!

Review for “Whistler: Sea to Sky Gondola, Shannon & Brandywine Falls Tour” – Provider: Vantrips.ca My wife and I had a mixed experience on this tour — the scenery itself was absolutely worth seeing, but the service we received did not match what was promised or what we paid for. First, the positives: The Sea‑to‑Sky drive was beautiful and full of photo‑worthy views. Each stop offered plenty of time to explore, and the waterfalls were truly amazing. The natural sights themselves made the day worthwhile, and we never felt rushed at any of the locations. Unfortunately, the service side of the tour fell far short of expectations. We were left waiting for pickup for about 25 minutes with no communication. The tour was advertised as private, but at the last minute another passenger was added without any notice. We were also promised an executive mini‑bus, yet a standard Honda van arrived instead — a surprising downgrade. The tour guide, Farshid, brought his brother‑in‑law to drive because he had a sciatic medical condition that prevented him from walking to some of the sites. As a result, his brother‑in‑law escorted us at the stops, but we were never told his name or role. There was no real orientation or explanation at any location; in fact, the guide seemed to be taking pictures as if it were his first time visiting. It felt less like a guided tour and more like we were sharing a ride with another passenger and being dropped off at each stop. The tour description also promised “coffee & tea,” but the only refreshment offered was water. When the guide did speak, he had no microphone, faced forward, and spoke so quietly that it was difficult to hear anything — the person in the back seat couldn’t hear him at all. In the end, while the sights were wonderful, we could have easily done this on our own without paying for what amounted to an expensive Uber‑style ride with minimal guiding. The natural beauty delivered; the tour service did not.
Wonderful way to spend the day exploring the beauty of Vancouver and Whistler. Guide and driver had to compromise quickly as we ran into a few snags due to road closures,. Vancouver marathon had closed streets and park for awhile, but they made it all happen. They even accommodated my husband's frequent requests for photo opportunities. They were so thoughtful and worked with us every step of the way . We felt very special and catered to. Definitely do this tour if you are near Vancouver.

My friends and I had the pleasure of enjoying two tours with vantrips.ca. First, the Whistler tour with all the stops mentioned, and another full day trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens two days later. Amir was so very kind, and we could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. "Wonderful" doesn't begin to cover it. Amir is also an excellent photographer and generously took many photos and shared them with us. Stop your search, you won't find better than vantrips.ca.
We took the tour to Whistler and it was amazing. The tour was very personalized and Amir was a great, friendly tour guide. He made sure everyone was taken care of and got to do everything they wanted to do. He even gave out great snacks with tea/coffee/hot chocolate. I hope to take one of his tours again in the future!

We had Amir as our tour guide and he was wonderful. He brought along snacks and beverages for us to enjoy and was very knowledgeable about all the points of interest along the way. He knew when to hang back when we were at whistler so us girls could do a little shopping but guided us to the falls. We felt the van allowed for a more intimate experience than the larger tour busses and the price was fantastic. I highly recommend! You won’t be sorry.

I highly recommend this tour ,it’s truly an unforgettable experience! Each season has its own beauty, but I went in the winter and it was absolutely magical. The place was full of skiers, creating a lively and warm atmosphere with Olympic symbols, an ice cream shop, and a cozy café designed in the style of igloo architecture. Our tour guide, Amir, was incredibly welcoming, very knowledgeable, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. My companion and I had such a great time and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Definitely a tour worth taking!
